The location was perfect — very central and close to a lot of attractions, shops, and the main bus stop. The staff were extremely helpful and courteous, always ready to assist. The common area had a lively, welcoming vibe, making it easy to meet other travellers. The hostel felt safe and secure, with keycard access to rooms and facilities. The bathrooms were clean and we'll kept.

The luggage storage under the bed was not convenient. It’s a metal net-style box that doesn’t slide out fully, making it hard to access and leaving the under-bed area quite dusty. Because of this, I couldn’t properly use it to store my belongings. The breakfast was exactly the same every day; a little variation would make the experience better. The fire alarms would go off randomly, always as false alarms, which was unsettling. The bathrooms were shared between both genders, which wasn’t clearly indicated. It would be nice if there were separate bathrooms or at least clearer information beforehand.

I had an absolutely brilliant time in Galway and I can’t imagine it would have been near as good if i’d stayed anywhere else. The hostel was perfect for solo travellers and i made friends as soon as I walked in the door. The staff was lovely, especially Tom who went the extra mile. I really felt he cared for our well-being. I was in a mixed dorm and when I mentioned being a bit uneasy sharing a room with just two men he immediately moved me to the 16-person dorm where I felt more comfortable which was so appreciated. The breakfast is probably the best I’ve had in any hostel I’ve visited (and a few hotels even) and the fully stocked kitchen improved the stay even further. The shared dinner which they organise on weekdays is really good for saving a few €€€ as well as making friends. At least two of the dishes they had on rotation were plant-based which was amazing for me. The pub crawl is also great fun and provides the opportunity to meet people from a few other hostels, really recommend going at least once during your stay if you’re looking to meet people.

This hostel was spotless throughout, everywhere was clean and smelt fresh, bed was comfy and clean, communal areas had staff floating round cleaning up after everyone (very kind). The communal areas had comfy areas to chill in, facilities to plug in laptops or chargers etc, good place to cook, a well organised and clean fridge with a labelling system, everything you needed for it to be like a home from home! Beds were like little pods with your curtain so felt private even when sharing, charger and light in your bed also. Very well located property! 10/10! The reviews are highly rated because they are true, this place was brilliant!

Location wise you cannot beat this hostel! Train station (Galway Ceant), Bus stop all are sooo very close. Right at the heart of the city centre, near the Eyre Square, every facility is within a walking distance. Staff: Very helpful, friendly and available 24x7. No matter who is at the desk! I misplaced my key card. The Staff was very kind to give me another one free of charge. If you ask then they will give you great hat tip to explore Galway and nearby attractions! Free walking tour, pub crawl and day trips can be booked through the Hostel which is great for a solo traveler. I left a parcel for my friend on the day of my check out. My friend collected the same after a week in good condition! I really liked their washroom toilet arrangement for a mixed dorm 12 bed set up [4 showers, 2 toilets (one with basin) and 2 wash basins for a common wash room area]! Other hostels can take a cue from that. I just wish it was more clean and maintained on regular basis. There is no lift but the staff can help you with the luggage! I just wish they had more variety in the breakfast.

Without a doubt the BEST hostel I have ever stayed at. The location was sensational - right in the centre of town and about a 5 minute walk to the Main Street. The staff were so friendly, welcoming and genuinely cared (always said hello, asked what you were up to, helped book tours and were always available for any questions or chats). Breakfast was great and an incredible way to start the day. Both the guided and self guided pub crawls were great and an easy way to meet people. As a solo traveller this was a great social hostel which really allowed you to meet people and feel at home. The rooms and bathrooms were comfortable and clean, the curtains provided privacy and made your stay easy. I honestly didn’t want to leave!

Great breakfast and relax room. Staff very friendly and welcoming (even for a more mature person like myself- not just for young people!) I got a bottom bunk, with privacy curtain. Reasonable price, fantastic location across from the Square. A very light atmosphere, love the bright orange which accents the inside. Offered me a towel, other residents were very friendly. They have a dedicated toilet and shower room for 10 people and the 3 shower/change stalls and 3 toilets are all maintained so clean. They also kept my bag for a few hours while I went out after checkout. I would stay here again 100%.

I don’t think there’s a lift (correct me if I’m Wrong)- a man offered to help me with my bag and that was nice! I didn’t need it but someone might so if you have any mobility issues it might not be the place for you. Also just note it is above the bar and it’s not very loud but you can hear the music. It’s not a big issue.

This place is awesome! Not only has the fantastic location but also everything you may need! The breakfasts are very delicious, there is a free tea, coffee, hot chocolate, guitar, board games and a nice common space to take the rest. Rooms have a lot of free space, comfortable beds. Staff is very friendly and helpful! Tom explained me everything and was very helpful during the whole stay! He also cooks dinner for everyone, for a little additional payment you can enjoy a great meal! He is a good cook, and a great person! Thanks a lot for a great time and memories here!

This hostel was by far the best hostel I’ve stayed in during my Ireland trip. The kitchen is perfect and clean, as well as the rooms. There are bathrooms on every level of the building which is so handy and it is also located right outside the train station and a street from the coach station. I want to give a huge shout out to Tom for making my stay so enjoyable, he was so helpful at giving me suggestions on places to go to and just overall creating a great, social atmosphere.

Everything was great. It is a small hostel so I felt very confortable. I was traveling alone and slept in a 5 female bedroom. -Storage for luggage before check-in and after check-out. -Nice breakfast -Individual locked cabin with a closed shower and a place to seat and leave stuff very appreciated -Curtains around the bed for intimacy was the most appreciated point -Staff very friendly ! My roomates were friendly, quiet and respectful. But I guess it's just a coincidence.

The location is great. It is very convenient, if you arrive or depart by bus or train. In addition, all touristic sights in central Galway can be easily accessible by foot, and in the vicinity are also a lot of shops and a big shopping mall. In the hostel everything was very clean and tidy. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of foods you can chose from. Furthermore, there are complimentary snacks available in the afternoon, and the fruits, lemonade, tea and coffee are also available for free throughout the day. In the hostel it is also possible to reserve daily tours for a very competitive price. All in all, everything was fine here.
