Staff were all fab and friendly, happy to help organise taxis for us and to answer any questions we had. Room was a good size and beds were very comfortable. Location was perfect for exploring the city. Restaurant served a delicious breakfast and dinner menu was great.

Some mornings for breakfast there was a long queue for the hot drinks machine so we got a drink at a coffee shop. Maybe another machine might be useful? Maybe a little more storage might have been good as there was only one small drawer. We only stayed for 3 nights so definitely didn't bother us too much for a short stay. The extractor fan in our en suite was super loud! We asked for some help switching it off at the reception desk. They suggested taking the key card out of the unit by the light switch, but that did nothing despite a small sign in our room saying to pull the cord.

We were really happy with the Harbour Hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful, the entire interior is modernised and cozy, and it's spotlessly clean. Soundproofing towards the road was excellent, we didn't hear any traffic noise although our room faced the road. There's a complementary gym with decent equipment. The restaurant can cater to coeliacs and provide gluten free options, although we didn't eat there. It's really close to the city centre, just about 5 mins walking to many restaurants, cafes and shops. Discounted parking for guests at 10€ for 24 hours. All in all, would recommend and stay again.

Our son got very ill during our stay that had nothing to do with the hotel. The hotel staff, especially the ladies at the front desk went out of there way to assist us with everything to help with his recovery. We had to extend our stay and they were able to allow us to keep our rooms, etc. The staff were amazing and we cannot thank you enough for treating us like part of your family.

Given the location, I expected better views prior to arrival. Given the above circumstances and our son getting very ill, the views didn't matter and the staff made up for any other disappointments.

Our room was spacious and tucked away from the elevators. It was quiet and peaceful. Parking is right behind the hotel and does cost extra but is convenient and safe.

The bathroom did not have a good exhaust system and shower area lacked a curtain to hold back water from spilling on to the bathroom floor. We used plenty of towels to keep the floor dry and avoid slipping. The room did not have much of a view and the carpet needed a good deep clean (sticky and somewhat smelly). The breakfast options were okay.

Breakfast, European choices with meets, salads, fresh vegetables , 4 types of bread, baguette ..fresh fruits really respect and consider other nations not only English and Irish .. a good breakfast truly makes a difference for the day Heating for a full night.. many Irish hotels give heat from 8pm-11pm and from from 7 am -8am Full night heating at your chosen temperature.. could anyone believe I’m writing this in 2024 ? But is very true.. it’s a miracle to have heated rooms in an Irish hotel ( living in Ireland over 20 years) and I finally found a full night heated hotel room

Location very easy to find. Hotel ambient spot-on. Lovely staff. The receptionist gave me a warm welcome and the dinner server was very sweet and altruistic (Sunday evening). Room with top notch design, comfort and cleanliness. Breakfast was aslo good.

Was a bit dissappointed in the dinner food. Altough the fish was good quality it could have used some flavour and seasoning as it was very bland. (Seafood tower)

Wonderful staff! Everyone was kind, friendly, and helpful. Kate, at reception, went above and beyond to provide helpful information! Continental breakfast was delicious!

One of the bartenders did not know how to make one of the specialty cocktails and took a very long time to do so. The hotel is also a little bit removed from town. View from the room was also not great.

Everything was pretty wonderful. The room was a good size, bed was comfortable, shower was very nice, breakfasts were very good. It was nice having a restaurant/bar in the hotel for the one rainy day we had. The only critique would be that there was early morning road traffic noise and sea gull chatter. We were on the third floor with sky lights. These providid ample light but were too high to allow for a view. The Habour Hotel as the name implies is in the harbour area of Galway which isn't the prettiest view anyway. It is a short walk to the main street (Shop St.) Overall, I would definitely stay there again.

The location is so central. perfect for a city break. The place was modern and the room was really nice. The staff were all very friendly and the breakfast was great.

You are charged 10euro a night for parking and the room was slightly noisy as it looked over a busy road
