The staff was helpful, and the basic location was good to see Galway and the surrounding area.

I was driving, and the hotel is located in a very busy intersection. It was very tricky to find the correct exit to enter the hotel parking lot.

The bed was amazing so comfortable

People were disrespectful coming in late at night and waking me up and the breakfast is not worth the 17 euro

Located within a twenty minute walk of Eyre Square, free underground parking and with a Spar shop on the ground floor this hotel has all the facilities of a city centre hotel at a much better price. Excellent breakfast in a bright and airy dining room.

Multiple emails from Maldron requesting online check in but with broken links; even the Unsubscribe link was broken. On my way to the hotel I received a text from the Maldron stating "Time is short" and displaying a link, I assumed it was a scam so rang the hotel who told me it was genuine. No explanation given.

Absolutely loved the room. We arrived an hour before check in hoping for the best and the receptionist was extremely helpful. Went to our room and it was lovely. Loads of amenities within walking distance and a beach 15 min drive from hotel. Only thing I was disappointed in was the breakfast. In fairness after the mix up they didn't charge for my daughter who had half a croissant and some of milk from the jug but 17euro for some mushrooms and scrambled egg was a bit much. But the staff were lovely and friendly. At the end of the day I got away for some time away with my little girl and the hotel made it enjoyable. She wanted to stay another night and if I had the money I would have stayed again. Hopefully again in the future

Price of the breakfast. Confusion on when I had booked breakfast at check in being told it would be at a reduced guest price and then told I wasnt reserved for breakfast when we went down the next morning so had to pay full price.. Just lucky I had enough on my card. Oh breakfast room service would be a great idea especially for families with asd children

The staff were friendly and professional, our rooms were spacious, spotlessly clean and beautifully appointed and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. We particularly loved the bathrooms with our walk in showers, which gave that added touch of luxury. The food in the restaurant, both buffet breakfast and evening menus, was beautifully cooked (especially the sea bass, which was outstanding. Compliments to the chef.) Parking at the hotel was plentiful and well spaced and we were delighted with the ample provision for disabled guest parking as one of our group was a wheelchair user. There was plenty of space for us to take the wheelchair in and out of the car. The location of the hotel was excellent, being close enough to the city for easy access and adjacent to the main arterial routes making reaching the hotel and touring the county very easy. The spar shop and filling station on the right side of the building was a real bonus, with the added advantage of having the Terryland shopping complex a short walk away. Highly recommended to anyone thinking of booking for business or leisure in Galway city.

Although the air conditioning in the room was excellent and easy to use, we'd have liked the choice of having a window we could open in our executive rooms. But we appreciate that's a design detail which can't be changed. We also couldn't use the Sky TV in either of our rooms, despite our best efforts. We didn't bring this to the attention of the staff at reception, which we probably should have done as they were very approachable, but other visitors for whom Sky TV might be a greater priority might be advised to keep this in mind.

Good food exceptional staff , very clean also Would stay again 4 star defo but the lift situation left me nervous on numerous occasions with tapping key card wouldn't be good for an elderly person's

Very nervous in lift several times with key card tapping as was my partner got caught numerous times where doors wouldn't open,is it really necessary to tap your card in lift I think this could let the hotel down was very nervous after a few incidents in lifts don't think there's a need to tap overtime to use a lift

Location was great, staff friendly. Room and bed was comfortable.

As a paying customer, the only downside was the hotels being used to home those fleeing from other countries (which I've absolutely no issues with) but the children where running around and it was hard to enjoy a peaceful break away with my partner. I think it should be made public that it's being used for that purpose. To give members of the public a choice to stay or look elsewhere.

The bed was very comfortable, shower was very nice. The hotel is a short drive from the city and a bus also stops outside which is handy. Ample parking for guests, I appreciated the need to scan your key card to access the floors and hallways.

None of the windows in the room could be opened, which led to a claustrophobic feel. This was also disappointing as we ate hot food in the room, the only way to try to remove the smell was by using the air con. The only other thing was when exiting the shower, I grabbed a towel and discovered what appeared to be blood stains on the towel. I did not mention this to staff as I understand it is impossible to check every piece of fabric in the room, but it still made me feel slightly uneasy and question the cleanliness of the room.

Restaurant was pleasant and the staff were great. Breakfast was exceptionally nice. Room was comfortable and our room was a great location with nice view. We did use the bar and it was nice and we had other meals there which were quite nice. Parking was a real bonus with plenty of space.

We were on the fourth floor which was great but only one of the elevators goes to the fourth floor and we often ended up on the wrong elevator since that was the one that came and we had to change at the third floor to go up one more. Not too bad but a bit different. We very much enjoyed our time in Galway

Spacious room. Tasteful decor. Loved having a fridge and iron in the room. The staff were very friendly and our evening meal was excellent.

It not so much a dislike, but we were initially confused about the room's en suite bathroom. It reminded me of a hospital bathroom. Although it is admirable, that the Maldron is very geared to aiding those with disabilities, I actually thought we had been put in a special needs room. The long red cord hanging from the middle of the ceiling was awkward and I was afraid to get caught in it at night. I had trouble getting it out of the way. It did remind me of my hospital maternity stays. Besides the bathroom, the room was very pleasant and the bed was comfortable.
