Rooms were fine and spacious. But for the price we paid €520 for two nights for a double, we felt the rooms should have been serviced the second day. We had to ask for extra loo roll and the bed was pulled up in the evening time but no extra water, tea bags or biscuits etc were given, had to rinse out cups ourselves. Pool was great and well maintained. Playground was tiny. €20 for a taxi to Galway city. Breakfast was excellent.

No entertainment even on a Friday night was disappointing. We ate one night in the restaurant and while the food was excellent, the window sills were very dirty and must be overlooked as the rest of the restaurant was clean and tidy.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay the girl was so helpful prior to our arrival and accommodated us with my mother in a wheelchair. The rooms were so clean and plenty of space. Breakfast was beautiful and staff and manager so friendly. The food was so good. Before breakfast it was great to go for a swim and use the facilities. I really enjoyed swimming every morning. We had a few drinks in the bar in the evenings a little bit of music would have really add to the evening. The staff were extremely friendly and the cleaning staff so helpful when we were leaving with the wheelchair. I would love to revisit before the end of the year.

Just entertainment in the bar would be nice

MALDRON IS A FAB HOTEL. FROM THE RECEPTION AT ARRIVAL THROUGH TO DEPARTURE, EVERYTHING WAS FAULTLESS. THE ROOMS ARE NICE AND VERY CLEAN, SHINY AND SPOTLESS, AND LOVELY SMELL WHEN I CAME IN THE ROOM. LOVELY CLEAN AND SHINY BATHROOM. THE QUALITY AND COMFORT OF THE BED AND BED LINEN WAS A DELIGHT. I SLEPT SO SOUNDLY. THE STAFFS ARE BEAUTIFULLY TRAINED AND ARE A CREDIT TO THE HOTEL. I WAS WELCOMED AND NICELY GREETED BY TRIXIE SO FRIENDLY AND LOVELY. SHE ASSURED US WE WERE HAPPY AND WE ENJOYED OUR STAY. THANKS AGAIN TRIXIE. I LOOK FORWARD TO VISITING AGAIN IN THE FUTURE IN THIS HOTEL.

The staff here were very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size and fairly comfortable. The pool was a good size and worth a visit. The complimentary breakfast was quite extensive and delicious. The location just outside of Galway made for a good stop over on our roadtrip.

The restaurant was very disappointing. The food was not great, the price was very high for what received. The table we were sat at had dirty dishes that were just shoved to the side. The wait staff barely acknowledge our existence once orders were taken. Definitely would not recommend having dinner at this hotel.

Really good hotel for families, we went with our 13 month old. We we enjoyed the children's playroom and the swimming pool. There was a shallow baby pool and a little bubble pool our baby loved. The breakfast had a great selection of hot and cold food. We had lots to choose from to let our baby try different breakfast foods. Short drive to Oranmore centre with restaurants and bars. Only 20 minutes drive to Galway centre. Good location is travelling around Galway in your car.

We only had the small bites from the bar menu and we felt it was over priced for the amount and quality of food we received. But breakfast was amazing.

Receptionist very friendly and prompt check in, we used the leisure centre and it was lovely (hairdryers were great & powerful).. dinner in the bar was fab, generous portion sizes.. if I could add one thing to improve on would be more of a desert selection. All the staff we came across were so friendly, professional and could not tend to us enough! our room was immaculate & spacious, arrived to a kids activity box and treats with a beautiful welcome note on our table! Beds were very comfortable, had a wonderful sleep. We will definitely be back again :)

We loved everything

I enjoyed my stay at the Maldron Hotel in Oranmore, Galway, very much. Everything met my expectations, including the reception, cleanliness, and comfort of the bedroom. The breakfast was good, but for a well-known 4-star hotel, it could be improved with a greater variety of delicious cakes and pastries to choose from. Nonetheless, I highly recommend staying at the Maldron Hotel in Oranmore, Galway

The only thing to complain about is the noise in the morning when guests started using their bathrooms, sinks, and showers. It was noisy in our bedroom, and we couldn't sleep properly. I think the walls do not properly insulate sound from one room to another.

We arrived an hour and a half early due and asked for early check in which was granted. The Family Room was very spacious, in the words of our Kids the best Family Room ever!! Breakfast buffet was exceptional, great variety of food, our 3 kids absolutely loved it especially the pancakes with chocolate:) The pool was spacious and lots of extras, floats, arm bands etc.. The bubble pool for the kids went down a treat (it was like their own little mini Jacquizz) while their dad relaxed in the Steam Room and Sauna. Requested a late check out as older boy was running a temperature the night before and needed the extra sleep, again this request was granted. Dad was then able to take the other two down to the pool so they didn't miss out on their morning of swimming.

Two nights were not enough:( sorry we did not stay another night.

The location is great—just a ten-minute walk to the city center of Oranmore and 25 minutes by bus to Galway. The staff is amazing! When we arrived, Ilaria welcomed us with the warmest greeting. She is incredibly kind, helpful, and friendly. It was our first time visiting Galway, and they truly made us feel at home. All the staff shared great recommendations and tips with us. The pool and all the amenities are fantastic—everything was clean and comfortable. At the end of our stay, Íker was also very friendly and kind to us. Thank you for everything!

The staff were very polite and eager to help whenever required. The bar was family friendly and allowed children to be present this allowed us to enjoy a drink with the older children present as they did not like the kids' club. My younger daughters enjoyed the kids' club because the staff interacted with them and played with them. The pool facilities were great too and again the staff there were very pleasant and helpful.

We would ideally prefer a walk-in shower as my wife has a disability so she needed help in and out of the bath to take a shower. The park was ok but could maybe do with a few extra pieces of equipment.
