Plenty of choice for breakfast. room was very spacious and clean, and lots of choice for dinner and the restaurant was big but plenty of atmosphere, restaurant staff were very attentive and pleasant. We used the spa, which was small no pool at this hotel but the treatments were good and the staff were excellent.

very young inexperienced staff at breakfast needs more training, they were not attentive and chatting to each other at the service desk and trying to attract their attention wasn't easy, the hot breakfasts came out wrong but were put right but they should be more aware of the clients and not themselves

Only righting this review so u can improve I'm not complaining I rate this hotel 10/10 but somthing I didn't like The breakfast Toast was a bit hard u could tell it being made awaile before delivery to room and breakfast was a bit cooled down rather then hot . Don't get me wrong I ate it but its something I would improve on .

I've stayed here before and it's always been great. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, especially at breakfast. Breakfast is wonderful - lots of choice and nice strong coffee. The rooms are a very good size indeed, plenty of space.

The bathrooms are rather dark - the tiles are dark/black and there is no natural light. There's also no light above the bath (where the shower over the bath is), so when you're showering with the shower curtain closed, it's very dark, as the light is almost completely blocked by the curtain (as well as the dark tiles). They could use an extra light above the bath to help with this.

Staff very friendly , great location, beds very comfortable, nice food in the bar. Free parking

Requested a balcony room, which we got however was told we cannot use it due to renovations. Having to pay €20pp extra into the spa even as guests. The spa was quite small and was hard to use certain facilities when busy. Personally would not recommend the spa.

Booked the romance package but this wasn’t added on, member of staff said I was supposed to call back to confirm but this was never discussed, I didn’t really understand why it couldn’t be rectified on the day but we were offered complimentary use of the thermal suites

City style 4 star Hotel in county town friendly staff national and international professional services tasty evening dinner a la carte menu and choice of full irish breakfast or continental style,located close to retail park with supermarkets etc,15 minutes walk to town centre with more shops. Also 15 minutes drive to lough rea lake side beach with crystal clear water.

Could not avail of the promised discount of 10%. Code of Special10 was not accepted at time of booking I contacted the hotel who said code had expired, but I double checked and brought the evidence at time of check in to show there was on expiry date I felt it should have been spied at point of check.in, in this case. Was disappointed it was not.

Breakfast was very good. Nicely served and prompt.

Lighting in the bathroom off bedroom was too dim. Only one pillow each provided on the bed. No glass for drinking water in the bedroom and only 4 milks on service tray. View from bedroom very Industrial.

All the staff were just lovely and helpful each engagement and I will be back for a longer stay! The ultimate spa was terrific as well!

directions to the spa were unclear so we were late to our appointment. i would put up a better sigh that you must take the elevator down to check-in for your time.

This was my second time staying here and I loved everything. Such a simple but fabulous hotel with great food and friendly staff. Rooms were clean and beds were super comfy. We also bought last minute tickets to the Tina Turner tribute show which was good crack and such a good set up with a bar inside the ballroom etc.

We did wait a little while for food at dinner but we were informed when settling the bill that it was busy and apologised for the delay. It's a simple apology that goes a long way and I will definitely be back.
