Nice quiet location, yet not far from the town, shops, restaurants, bars etc. The room was lovely, spotless and comfortable. A secure place was provided for my bicycle which was very much appreciated.

€17 extra for breakfast; a bowl of porridge and a very weak & watery coffee was a bit of a let down. I think a function may have overflowed into the bar, which was exceptionally busy. Outside seating, tables not cleared & also busy, as was the foyer, made finding a quiet place to sit and relax, awkward. Obvs not the hotel's fault, or was it? Are the walls too thin? Either way, other guests were exceptionally noisy until after midnight and an early morning delivery truck made for a short & disturbed night sleep - unfortunate, as the morning of departure was a charity cycle to Dublin

Couldn't fault the food it was excellent, and plenty of choice in the restaurant, Rooms were large and the beds big and spotlessly clean, the staff were lovely.

the breakfast had plenty of choice, we did have an issue one morning the breakfast was cold, they replaced it immediately and we didn't pay for it, so they were very reactive. The hotel bar didn't open until 4, it was a glorious day and we couldn't have a drink outside on the terrace that had lots of tables chairs and umbrella's which I found bizarre, I've never known a hotel bar not open all day and feeling like an alcoholic waiting for the door to open at 4 ha ha

The bed and pillows were comfortable, it was an extremely large room and was not able to hear anything from below. The toilet (although up a set of stairs was spacious and had the essentials.

The bathroom felt like it was sloped which gave me weird feelings. It was also up stairs in the room which wasn't a great thing when I had to go in the middle of the night. Due to how the bed and surround was laid out, there were no sockets near the bed, meaning I couldn't leave my phone on a locker to charge, having to use a socket on the other side of the room.

Breakfast was not included and honestly €19 quoted to add a full breakfast or €12 for a continental was just too expensive. The two girls, a French girl and a Spanish girl at reception were so friendly, welcoming and pleasant.

If it weren't for the lovely girls, Givet and Asillan at reception there wouldn't be any welcome. When I was getting ready to leave there was a manager in a white shirt who couldn't manage a Hello or Good Morning. On the night of my stay, at 3.25 am and again at 5 am there were bins being emptied directly outside my window. Why, at that hour of the morning when people are trying to sleep??

The room was spotlessly clean, spacious and warm with really comfy beds. We ate dinner in the dining room and it was delicious, every other customer seemed very happy too from what I observed. My 7 year old asked for another helping of mashed potatoes and gravy, it was so good! The happy staff were delighted to oblige. Excellent service from reception lady, through to the dining room staff and the cleaning staff. We have stayed here a few times before and enjoy its location, services, pool. Its a charming hotel, nicely hidden away.

When we checked in, we were greeted by friendly staff who informed us of all the information we needed for our stay. The room was very spacious, which was great as we had extra things for our kid. The hotel provided a travel cot, which was great. The rooms were very clean. The food in the restaurant was fantastic and all the staff were great with our kid.

My only critique would be that the restaurant staff never offered us drinks. Both times we went to the restaurant during our stay, they took our food order and left immediately, leaving us with no chance to order drinks. A small complaint in comparison to such a lovely stay. Hope to return next year.

It was so comfortable and relaxing. The bedrooms were spacious and oozed relaxation. The reception staff were so helpful and we decided to stsy another night . It was good value for money I love the exterior of the building so charming looking. Pool was lovely 12 md checkout

My daughter and I went to the pool and were unable to get to jacuzzi as a group of men got in and stayed there. Update showers in the rooms Suggest to add coffee machine to breakfast area as I love flat white in the am and more options

Room was very comfortable and the food was good, toaster seems to be a very old model and bread took a long time to toast,

Shower in our room was over the bath and shower head was fixed. In our case, we couldn't use the shower as there was no bar or handle to hold on to while climbing into or out of the bath. Also shower caps were not supplied so one couldn't use the shower without getting ones hair wet. Would have expected a more up to date set up

A great place away from the noise of the roads. Comfortable rooms, very warm. The beds are large and comfortable. For breakfast they offer a dish from the menu. I really liked the eggs Benedict. There is also toast, fruit, cereals and rolls for everyone. A swimming pool with a comfortable temperature. There is a pool for children. There is also a jacuzzi and a sauna. Not far from the hotel there is a wonderful pub with oysters and black desserts. I recommend this hotel.
