We were looking for a central base for a few nights to stay for the Galway International Rally 🏁. We were so lucky to have found such brilliant accommodation in Loughrea in The Auld Triangle We were on bed only basis, in the Annex next door to the bar.. no breakfast, but had access to a kitchen that was stocked with bread, butter, marmalade, jam, cornflakes, porridge, rice crispies, milk, sugar, juice, croissants, bananas, apples and oranges.. To me that's more than a breakfast 😋 We ate in the bar both nights and Oh my God, 20 star quality 🌟 It would be worth the 2 & half hour journey for the food alone! For the quality and the quantity of the food, it was such great value. Not one single fault could we find. Thee nicest prawns I've ever ever had, and we had 3 steaks done differently, medium rare, rare and well done and each was done to absolute perfection The atmosphere was brilliant. All the staff were so so nice, but it was Aiden that was our contact and he couldn't have done more to make our trip any better. If we were in a 5 star hotel, we could have not received better service 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟Another staff..not sure, but I think her name was Eva or Kiera. (the lady with the blonde plaits..) was absolutely worth her weight in gold (.. Management take note😉) Our first time in Loughrea but definitely not our last and wouldn't stay anywhere else except The Auld Triangle - we've already booked our next stay with them .

Great place,room was a clean and breakfast area was handy milk, bread,butter jam, coffee ect in the fridge,was great to buy some ham or whatever you want to make sandwiches ect and tables chairs in the area ,to sit down and eat ,but besides that great , comfortable and the food and staff were brilliant..

Sunday night Was a little noisy my room was wondering why earplugs were left on the bed, noise and music faded away around 2 am.. Monday night was not too bad slept the whole night

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms are old, but had everything we needed. The self serve breakfast was cereal and toast which was adequate. We had dinner at the pub and the food was fantastic! The service provided by the staff was brilliant.

The bed was a bit wonky and the bed head rattled with any movement. My partner burnt his toast and unfortunately set off the fire alarm, which we were unable to turn off. Luckily the local police were helpful and eventually turned the fire alarm off.

Location to the city centre was very good, and not far from bus stop. Check in staff was very pleasant and informative

Last evening - power outage in many rooms and kitchen = wall power was off through 5.30 am departure; apparently affecting water pressure = no morning shower. and just on last night pub, kitchen directly below room was noisy and music on until 12:15. recommend any room other than #7

Ticked all my boxes. Spotlessly clean - freshly decorated. Comfortable, All the facilities I required for a short stay. Great location on Loughrea and close to major roads network leading to Galway and to he South West - and East towards Dublin. Simple complementary breakfast - all I needed. Access to shared kitchen with fridge(x 2) Microwave, full range of dishes and cutlery Bar has an excellent restaurant that is well supported by the locals - always a good sign. Bar also has a very lively entertainment program at the weekends. Young Staff team were very welcoming and friendly. They worked hard and efficiently - especially in the restaurant - but still found time to be very pleasant, friendly, polite and helpful They deserve to be supported and to be successful.

No Issues - ticked all my boxes

Friendly staff, centrally located, There is loud music every night so be aware of that, the do put ear plugs in the room for guests. I was also but still music was loud anyway, but I am not complaining as for the price of the room it was worth it. But future visitors take note,

Instant coffee for breakfast, worst thing ever!

Price and location great. Staff very friendly and helpful. Dinner in the pub 4 star! Delicious! Room was very comfortable and surprisingly quiet even though it was behind the pub.

The room could have been cleaner. There were cobwebs on the lights and floor felt gritty. There was an old spill or coffee stain on floor by one of the beds.

Room was well maintained and large. Comfortable bed. Decent food at the pub and the live band on Saturday night was a bonus. We enjoyed a lot.

No chairs, table, desk, hangers or any other piece of furniture in room except of the beds. It was sweaty hot, radiator in bathroom was burning hot with no obvious way to turn it off.

Very friendly on a rival, booked in straight away. Was perfect for 3 lads' weekend away. Double bed 2 single beds Perfect.

The entertainment , what's very loud in your bedroom. I wondered why there were earplugs on my pillow on arrival 😂 But with a few pints, I still slept like a log

Great location and short distance to shops etc. Very clean and great value for money. Also loved how you could hear the live band playing from the room!

I wish there was hand wash in the bathroom. The sink was also blocked and took a few minutes to drain after each use but apart from that everything was perfect!
