We rented 2 rooms for a family of 4, with young children. Rooms are spacious and equipped enough to eat in breakfast, easy lunch. Toiletries and towels were very much appreciated, it meant we didn't have to bring those. The location is great. Walking distance to cafes, and with beautiful lake views. The garden is well looked after with flower beds and garden furniture to enjoy. The host , Ursula is very good and helpful with information about places of interest, in our case the best place for a swim in the lake. If I am back in the area, I would not hesitate to book again.

When we arrived, Ursula came out to meet us and show us where to park and show us in to the room. She also told us where we could eat and grab a pint locally. The property was really close to the pubs and a lovely walk round a park near the lake and the walks in the village. Very very friendly welcome and we felt right at home straight away. We wanted somewhere for a nice hot shower and comfy bed midway through our campervan trip and were limited due to having the dog, but it was absolutely perfect and we are glad we stumbled on this place. There were tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge with fresh milk which was a great touch. Excellent value for money, very homely and would highly recommend. Thank you Ursula for such a lovely quick stay with everything we needed.

Super clean and nicely decorated with quality furniture and modern shower room. The bed and bedding particularly cosy and comfortable. Warm room with every comfort and amenity including a tv, microwave, fridge,kettle,toaster, crockery etc for making breakfast and light meals. Outside, a garden overlooking the lake where in the summer you can have a bbq. Wifi and mobile signal very fast. Dedicated parking space. Fresh towels whenever you need them. Quiet location but only a 2 minute walk to the centre of town with numerous coffee shops, restaurants, pubs and convenience stores.

Lovely room with everything we needed for our four night stay. Very comfortable bed and everything was clean and well presented. Stunning view across the lake from the bottom of the garden and a lovely outside space which me made full use of in the good weather. Host was friendly and welcoming and kept us topped up with the essentials. We will definitely be staying again when we are visiting the area again.

I booked a room for my parents who were visiting for a week. They enjoyed their stay in the beautiful accomodation. Conveniently located walking distance to everything in town, clean and quiet and with the beautiful lake steps away, it was the perfect spot. Ursula was lovely tand easy to deal with. We would recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful visit in Loughrea.

The property was exceptional!had absolutely everything we needed, iron, toaster, fridge, ensuite, kettle, glasses, mugs. Beautiful serene setting. An added bonus is the pub across the road. Best meal for flavour and value we had in the whole Uk. Highly recommend this place. Ursula was a lively welcoming host and so helpful and obliging. On site free parking is an added bonus!!

Beautiful location on the lake and it was lovely having a cup of tea on the lawn looking out over the water. Very conveniently located near the bus stop coming in from Dublin Airport. Lots of great local info provided by the host. Could easily spend a few days here looking around and enjoying the countryside. Loved the very friendly kitty 😺

Great place for our one night stay as we travelled down the west coast. Ursula (host) sent excellent instructions for the location of her property. You are right beside Lake Loughrea and there is a lovely cottage garden where you could sit and admire the view. There was information provided about Loughrea and things to see in this town. The accommodation had everything needed and was clean and d comfortable for us.

I was basically just needing a bed for the night while doing a course nearby. At the start I wasn't sure what to expect, it was a bit off the road but I loved the garden space and the closeness to the lake. After a long day of learning I really enjoyed winding down by the lake and waking up in the morning and having my tea listening to the sounds of nature. Ursula was very friendly.

Ursula was lovely, it was really a peaceful stay and easy going ( totally stress free). The microwave and kettle were a nice plus, I was happy to find a hairdryer. There was even an electric blanket! I slept in a lot of hotels last year and it was my favorite stay as I had a restful full night sleep both nights! Thank you Ursula!
