We found a property very clean kettle in the room - which is a must for us, Air-con working as long as the door to the balcony is shut, it was a quiet room never heard the neighbours. Swimming pool available breakfast available with a variety of healthy choices and good coffee. We loved all that also all the staff really really friendly and helpful polite everyone -reception, breakfast staff, housekeeping -everyone. And it has a lift. So convenient Walking distance to the free beach passing all the chargeable -ones amazing water and sand

All the instructions in the room were only in greak so i still don't know how could i at least call reception. Or the safe code etc. Also When we 1st walked in the room, we felt the room is quite outdated and it was, but we soon forgot about it because everything was maintained clean and funcționabile so it's just visual inconvenience for a first impression

A simple but pleasant and comfortable hotel with a swimming pool and less than 10 mins walk to the beach. The staff was very friendly and helpful and allowed me to stay past the check out time. The room was very clean and had all the things I needed: a safe, a kettle and tea cups, and a small refrigerator. There was also a small balcony with a table and two chairs. Bathroom was rather small and like elsewhere in Greece one has to use waste basket for used toilet paper. Breakfast was simple but sufficient: some cold cuts, cheeses, boiled eggs, tomato and cucumber salad etc. The hotel is in a quiet street easily accessible by public transport. I took bus X96 from the airport to Ekklesia stop and then bus 171 to Souniu stop. I chose this hotel because I wanted to stay by the sea with a possibility of visiting sites in Athens and it worked out fine. I used only public transport and it took me about an hour by bus 122 and Metro line 2 to get from Varikiza to the Acropolis station.

Stefanakis Hotel is a traditional hotel situated in a quiet position just a few minutes from the beach. There are restaurants, taverna and supermarkets within walking distance and once you get past the beach clubs the public beach area is free. As soon as you enter the hotel through the lovely gardens you will be greeted by wonderful staff who cannot do enough for you. The rooms are spotlessly clean as are the bedding and towels which are changed every day.. There is a small fridge in the room which is useful and a balcony with chairs and table to sit outside. The breakfast is quite adequate with a good variety of things on offer and good coffee. The pool is kept in pristine condition and the area around lovely and clean. This is not a Five star hotel but you won’t be paying Five star rates and The Stefanakis offers fantastic value for the privilege of staying in Beautiful Varkiza. (View is from room 302)

Stephanakis is truly a 3 * hotel, however it's rustic and classic appearance which gives it the unique country side, the warm feeling, it is surrounded by trees,and a good size clean pool. It's cleanliness is very good, free wifi very good, AC very good , pillow and matress were comfortable. Superb location 5m walk to the beach, supermarkets pharmacies and a variety of restaurants around. simple and nice breakfast, you wouldn't ask for more items to be on the table . The most important is the generosity & welcoming attitude of Ms Christina for her customers is unmemorable .She is the most welcoming person we've ever seen. Thank you Christina for everything . Juice at breakfast has no taste .

The hotel is not new, but well maintained and clean. The staff is super nice and helpful. Breakfast is good, quite basic. They have GOOD coffee, similar to Nespresso, which is a huge plus for me. Swimming pool is great - clean and refreshing with lifeguard. In the room there are extra pillows and a safe. You can ask for beach and pool towels at the reception. Restaurants, shops and the sea are within 5 mins walking distance.

A bit of change from day to day in the breakfast buffet would be good. The ACs in the rooms need cleaning. The first room we got had a very strong smoke smell, which we assumed came from the AC, which in the inside was dirty. However, as soon as we flagged the issue, we got a new room, which we were happy with. Keep in mind that the first half of the long beach (closer part to the hotel) is a resort with entry fee. If you want free beach, you need to walk 1 km (15mins).

I had an absolutely wonderful four-night stay at this property! The location couldn’t be better — just a short walk to the beach, including the beautiful Varkiza Beach Resort. It’s also within easy walking distance of shops, fantastic restaurants, and charming cafes. Everything you need is right on your doorstep. The area is peaceful but well connected. For just a couple of euro by taxi, I was able to visit nearby towns like Vouliagmeni and Glyfada, both full of great beaches, dining options, and lively atmosphere. One highlight was renting a car for the day (very affordable!) to visit the stunning Temple of Poseidon at Cape Sounion — such an easy and scenic drive, and absolutely worth it. The property itself was spotless, well-equipped, and very comfortable — perfect for a relaxing getaway. The host was friendly and responsive, making check-in and the overall experience seamless. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy the Athenian Riviera. I would definitely stay here again!

We stayed in a two bed apt which had loads of space and a lovely spacious balcony. It was only a short walk to the tavernas and shops. The pool area was beautiful and clean and was just what we needed to relax after a few busy days sightseeing in Athens. Staff were friendly and helpful. Apartment was cleaned and beds made everyday which was more than we expected. There were also four beautiful kittens that whilst aloof were fun to watch.

The only drawback was the lack of a fully stocked bar - the only lager was Amstel and very little else. A proper bar with snacks would have been nice but there is a nice bar called cozy just over the road .

Unbeknownst to us, we were in the the Varkazi area on a major holiday weekend, so hotels and Airbnbs were limited. We were fortunate to find Stefanikis Hotel still had rooms available to accommodate our family of 9. We ended up getting 3 rooms, 2 of which were "apartments" with a separate kitchenette. They were very reasonably priced. Location was very convenient to tavernas, bakeries, and grocery stores. The staff were very friendly and helpful. While not a fancy hotel, it had everything we needed for the weekend. Our kids used the pool, and breakfast offered a decent array of items to choose from.

The hotel and rooms were a bit dated, but very workable. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Location was fantastic. Couple of minutes from beach and small harbour area. Staff were amazing, couldn’t do enough to assist with directions and any other advice required. Rooms were big and had everything needed including a fridge, kettle, air con at no extra charge , safe at no extra charge and a small balcony with table and chairs. The pool area was quiet and relaxing and spotless clean with a life guard on duty at all times. Small bar area which was reasonably priced. Breakfast was traditionally Greek, fresh and plentiful. Great place to chill out and get some proper relaxation time. I would have no hesitation in recommending the lovely hotel.

I have no complaints at all.

The location is super nice as it is peaceful and quiet, which helps us to relax 😌 . It is close to the market, pharmacy, and even to the medical centre so parents will not worry about any health needs . Moreover,it is close to many, many restaurants with different choices . Also very close to the beach, we only needed to walk with the kids for 5 minutes to reach it. As for the staff , they are super friendly and generous they offered us things for free! We really hope to go there next summer .
