typical solid budget hotel at a rather good price , very well managed, all was clean and o.k. Quiet room. There is reception downstairs, very friendly. Good location near Essen-West S-Bahn station, just one station away from main railway station Essen.

guests should be aware that there is still some walking (10 to 15 minutes) from Essen-West S-Bahn station. But it was o.k., quiet residential area, seems to be safe at night.

Friendly and attentive staff, good food and a nice courtyard garden, comfortable beds and easy on-street parking with no charges. There was a private party going on downstairs but the soundproofing was surprisingly good and we were not troubled by any noise.

No real issues; room small but spotlessly clean, dinner and breakfast were all very good.

The guests at the hotel were smoking in front of the hotel door and their noises could be heard in my room at around 3am. The lift was broken.

You can hear noise people walking in the corridor . The walls are too thin and you can hear next door . The pillow too soft .

I booked a very simple single room, it was as expected and just fine for what I needed. Wifi worked well and the staff were very kind with my late evening arrival.

It was rather loud, and the room smelled quite strongly of disinfectant. The bed was not so comfortable.

Everything is very good. Rooms are big and clean. Staff is exceptional friendly. It has big restaurant and Cafe inside. Breakfast was exceptional

24 hour reception, with friendly nightwatch who speaks English very well. Easy public transport to city centre around the corner.
