This hotel is terrific! Great location too. Dont let the front street fool you! It’s beautiful inside. Omnia welcomed us so warmly and took care of everything. The entire staff was ready at a moments notice to help with anything we needed! They even brought ice to our room. Omnia also speaks perfect English as do other members of the staff there. It’s a great value for such a hotel and location. It’s also near lots of local food places.

The staff were fantastic, always wanting to assist and make my stay memorable. They couldn't have made me feel more welcome. The location was perfect, minutes from the Nile riverbank and adjacent to the bazar. In close walking distance to great restaurants including Koshary and seafood. Good breakfast and very comfortable rooms. I would definitely stay here again when in Aswan.

The internet was very weak and really only worked on the ground floor on a phone. I had my own e-sim however it would have been good to have a good internet in the room for using a PC.

Very hospitable guys at the reception, special thanks to Omnia! They helped us get an early breakfast even though it was not included in the booking. The rooms are small, but clean and comfortable.

I don't think I can point out any major downsides. Sometimes locals may come up to you on the street and try to get some tips for nothing) But they're not very intrusive and after polite 'la shukran' they leave.

The location was great next to the souk, the train station and the Nile. We also like that is was clean and in fine condition .Our room was fully tiled. The staff was very friendly.

The breakfast was not the best and could be improved. The change that we didn't get when we paid for our room. Price was 128usd and we gave 130usd. We never got the change in any currency. It's a small amount and but it's not great nonetheless.

Location very good for me, the people staff in the lobby very friendly and always helped me with all the questions and things I didn't know, I definitely recommend this place, I'm very happy I choose this hotel , couldn't be better

Very comfortable bed and soft pillows. Large shower with strong water flow. Decent breakfast. Located on side street off the souq with no traffic, so quiet except for barking dogs, which I don’t think the hotel can do anything about.

Wi-Fi was spotty.

The location is perfect. Markets and restaurants are all close by. Right in the heart of aswan. Staff is very friendly. Mona at reception was very helpful. Rooms are decent sized. Overall definitely worth it.

Room furniture feels a bit dated.

The hotel is located in a very central location, convenient to travel everywhere. You can easily find all the amenities and restaurants around. During my stay, I was enthusiastically helped by the hotel staff (including the manager) and listened to my opinions. (I remember some of their names are: Mona, omnia, sama). I appreciate their professionalism and friendliness

Very central location, being walkable from the train station in 5 mins, it is also on the souks door step. The staff here are great and dont try to rip you off unlike the other hotels we stayed in. Aladin ( the young nubian guy on reception) was extremely knowledgeable about the local area and the culture/attractions. We will definatly stay here again when we come back to aswan... Seems like the best hotel around after speaking to guests from other hotels.

The unwanted wake up call that we suspect was because we didnt give backshish to the cleaner - just do your job and dont look at us like a walkimg ATM. We allready paid for all hotel services in the booking. The breakfast isnt great, we could of been served local flat bread and lentil soup would of been better and cheaper, it was winter at the time. But really not a big deal for our stay in particular.

it’s in a very central place, down stairs you can find the market, and it’s also not far from the Nile river. the room is big, the staffs are nice, we all feel safe and comfortable here. Also the car service from this hotel is nice. The car looks new and clean, the drivers are professional and won’t take us to the unwanted shopping stores . Who I want to mention is Aladin, he has charge of reception. He is very professional and patient, even when we have some misunderstandings. On one occasion, we lost a sunglasses in the travel bus, he helped us to make a phone call with the local driver and found out a simple but perfect solution to get the glasses back very quickly. we all thanked him. In the future if I take my parents to Aswan and have a travel, I will choose Cleopatra hotel again ;)))
