Location firstly was perfect for us, right next to the airport, less than 10 min walk! What a wonderful hidden gem of a hotel. Firstly, aesthetically it is just stunning. The conversion of an old, traditional Maltese building into a posh, luxurious, boutique hotel has been done sympathetically, appreciating and retaining the building's features in whatever way possible whilst never compromising on comfort & beauty. I especially loved entering the courtyard for the first time, what an impactful & dramatic first impression! The hotel is a perfect mix of new & old with all the modern comforts such as WiFi, self check in, PIN entries meaning no need for keys and a very cool pool. I love all the little extras that are provided like suncream & pool towels, coffee machine & water. Cherise was very helpful & communicative, enabling the entire experience to be very relaxed. We had an early morning flight so my favourite part was a delicious breakfast being prepared in takeaway form for us, it was really appreciated & made our travel so much easier. Our room was a very spacious double, tastefully decorated and spotless. The bed, towels & shower are all luxurious & comfortable. The wine / game room is super cool too. I only wish we could have been there longer still thank you still for a wonderful, brief stay.

Parking is a little difficult to get but still fine.

The facility is located near the airport, which was not a problem and was convenient because you could walk from the airport, 10-15 minutes by car depending on traffic from the center of Valletta. Each apartment had a different interesting design and amenities, a larger or smaller terrace. A swimming pool is available for guests. Possibility to compose your own breakfast and squeeze fresh orange juice or make a smoothie. Adapters for sockets are available for guests.

The guests were young people who enjoyed music and conversation, but after paying attention to the night silence the situation improved.

Location is in the middle of a small old village and is perfect for a maximum of 2-3 nights if you need the MALTA airport to be close - it took me 14 minutes with a relaxed walk. All the closest places like shops and restaurants are also in the airport area - nothing in the village. Staff is superb and beds are clean and big. However, do not expect something special - just a fair nice place, with nice small details (free drinking water, perfect coffee in the morning, and good water pressure in the shower). What else you need for a short airport stay?

Not to complain, just to point some issues... if you have noisy neighbors, you will hear everything. Some rooms (we had 3 bookings there) are really stuffy, and not all have windows. To get to the rooms 8 to 10 is kind of a challenge using old stairs with lot of curves, with big luggage it will be a disaster. And please be aware, if you are 180+sm, you always need to pay attention and mind your head...

I have already rated T&B more than once and invariably gave it 10 for the overall experience, taking into account location, amenities, staff, vibe... And I will consider this place my first choice on every visit to Malta to come. Now to those who may read my review - DO NOT take the lower ratings under consideration without reading them THOUROUGHLY... Because more often than not you'd find complaints about the weather, neighbours, mosquitos, lack of restaurants in the immediate vicinity or parking problems... Not only are these things out of T&B's control but even averagely smart person should check things beforehand e.g. in Google Maps / Internet and come to a new country at least a little prepared for local specifics. And it never hurts to ask before booking... Anyway, I wish everyone a pleasant visit to Malta.

This was neither my first nor the second time at Talbot & Bons and definitely not the last one... Should I ever go to Malta again - this place would be my first choice. Considering its location in a short walk distance from the airport and bus hub (which is extremely convenient in case of late arrivals and early departures) T&B turns out to be unexpectedly quiet. The rooms (I've stayed in 4 different already...) are decorated nicely and in my opinion don't lack any amenities. The self check-in option is another advantage should you come late. Buffet breakfast gives you an opportunity to satisfy your stomach in your own way and variety of ingredients is sufficient even for a stay of several days. The staff, led by Cherize (amazing person BTW), is always helpful, smiling and does a great job catering to guests' needs.

Super cute hotel ! The rooms are very cozy and the staff are lovely ! Bathroom was super clean ! I really enjoyed my stay, Breakfast is more than enough, sweet and charcuterie :) and really close to the airport, less than 10min walk and really safe ( I was by myself alone) ! Defo recommand if you have a flight the next day ! The receptionists are lovely ! Always taking care of you and always smiling ! I dont remember the name of the two woman but thank you both of you for your hospitality. There's a small pool really cute, during the night, there's lights all around. Look very cozy. All rooms are really clean, bed are really comfortable.

I recently stayed at the Talbot and Bons Bed and Breakfast in Malta and I couldn't be happier with the experience! The location is fantastic, conveniently close to the airport (5-7 minutes on foot) yet still quiet enough to relax and enjoy the surroundings. It was the perfect base to explore the island. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, always going above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect during my stay. The rooms were spotless, beautifully decorated and very comfortable, with all the amenities you’d need for a cozy stay. Overall, Talbot and Bons is a gem of a B&B. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Malta, whether for a short stay or a longer holiday. I would definitely return!

Breakfast was very poor. Maybe because of the season.

+ Lovely and elegant place to stay! In life it looked even better than on photos! + Very important – place is close to airport (~10-12 min walk), but at the same time located in a very quiet and calm old town. + Quick and very friendly and helping communication with staff. We were able to check in and gen in the room without the staff (code locks). + We liked the visually appealing open courtyard, with entrances to several apartments. + Very spacey room and huge bathroom. Room offered all the amenities – coffee pod machine, mini fridge (with drinks and snacks), drinking water, water boiling kettle, bathrobes, hair drier, shampoos and soap etc. New, modern sanitary equipment. + Room had a modern air-conditioning unit, which we used for heating as it was a non-season stay (February). + Room had a large TV with Google TV, so we were able to watch YouTube etc., fast WiFi. +++ As we were leaving very early, staff had prepared small breakfast packs for us, which we really appreciate!

- Room and floors was cold, but as it was a non-season visit (February), it is not surprising. That is why it was great to use that powerful air heater! Although it was not able to heat the bathroom. This would be the only minor flaw.

It took about 15 minutes of easy walk from the airport to come to T&B in a quiet, clean area. A pleasant clean room, pool outside to refresh before bedtime, minibar in the room to refresh your stomach ☺️. Breakfast is self-service, nice and easy with some cheese, prosciutto, salami, jams, fruit, fresh cappuccino and juice before leaving. Reception works till noon (I believe) but if you're a late guest without a reservation, book at booking and Amy will set you a room. ☺️ Definitely recommending ☺️

I loved instant hot water in the shower, which is a great thing when you come after a long flight 🥰.

The hotel is located 20 min walk from the airport, however, one could jot hear planes taking off or arriving. Rooms were very nice and modern. Lady at the front desk was friendly and helpful. Opposite the hotel was a small "park" with three cats living, the orange one was very friendly. Rooms were so nice that one could stay also for the complete Malta trip (many busies go to the airport, thus traveling should be easy).

The breakfast offer was comparably poor and wasn't renewed, so I would suggest getting up early and being one of the first.
