- Absolutely lovely staff both from the hotel and the surf camp! - Easy to meet nice people. - Nice bonus: Kima Surf that is also on this hotel property organises daily activities, outside of surf lessons, which all guests are free to join or not. - Great kitchen. - Beautiful property, just like in the pictures.

Not negative per se, but for those who care be aware that the property also has private rooms that are on the ground level next to the pool. This didn't feel private, while the room has beautiful big glass windows where everyone can see through, unless you keep your curtains completely closed.

keep in mind that the Green Room is inside a Surf Camp which is called Kima Surf 🏄🏽‍♀️ They have dorms as well and a lot of young people who like to surf and party 🎉 It’s nothing negative in general but it was sometimes very loud. We like to sleep early 😴 (and also we’ve been a bit sick and that’s why we wanted a quiet and comfortable place), so that’s why we sometimes felt a bit annoyed by the noise. Also the bathroom, which looked really nice, was outside (we love that in general!) but because there were a lot of plants 🌱, there were also a lot of mosquitos 🦟

Beautiful and fun hotel, with amazing outdoor facilities, and the rooms are so cute and luxurious! I would recommend joining the surf classes which are one of the best I ever had. The instructors are sublime and you get the best basic tips you need to learn surfing. I would suggest you check the package they have for room and surf together, otherwise it can get more pricy than expected.

They have a lot of small rules here, which makes people who booked a room there through booking.com a bit outsiders (no breakfast included, no bottle of water, no this, no that. something you can of course buy when you get there).

The hotel is great. It has an amazing vibe and location is spot on! Great to walk to the shops, massage, best Canggu restaurants and La Brisa. Breakfast was yummy and restaurant staff was friendly. The security guys are also really polite and helpful (we did late check in and early check out). The room looks beautiful and the yoga classes and other activities are a good addition to the stay.

Front of house (reception) staff was pathetic (with all due respect). I would stay stand in front of them and they would take a while to look into my face, even talking between then ignoring my presence. Any question I asked them was answered with a short yes or no (“do you hire motorbikes? NO”, “do you change money, NO”). A bit of assistance would be appreciated. The french guy from social was also rude to my husband while interacting.

great location, clean and excellent value for money

It’s got a fun atmosphere and a great pool area and there are many opportunities to meet people. It’s a great central location in Canggu. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

I got a deluxe suite room and it was in need of a little maintenance, the shower room and toilet smelt a little mouldy and it didn’t seem entirely clean (no visible dirt but just overall a little tired and not clean and new), the room was also very dark.

Excellent location right on the beach. Walking distance to shops and eateries and also is around the corner from LaBrisa beach club. The team at The Green Room are so accomodating and lovely, they remember your name and will make sure you stay if fabulous. Great facilities, pool is incredible and the on-site food and bar is also a winner. The added bonus that it is also a surf camp and always activities being run is great for people travelling solo and wishing to make friends and explore Canggu and beyond. Loved my stay here. Can’t wait to rebook in ☺️

By far the best deal in Bali (price/quality ). Excellent service , plenty of things to do and a sense of community ( perfect for solo travelers ). nevertheless everyone is quite mature and respect your space but easy to meet people is well .

I like everything but I will use this space for one thing to get in mind . you will see here on booking the internet is very low rated , perhaps because you don’t get strong internet everywhere in the property , but if you around the co working space is super fast .

Amazing place, this is not only a hotel, but the community. People are very friendly and there is always someone to hang out with. All the interiors are very beautiful, there are a lot of facilities such as 3 pools, restaurant, bar area, gym etc, as well as many activities free of charge - yoga classes, movies nights, live music etc. it's perfectly located, close to the beach, walking distance to Canggu centre.

I stumbled upon this place while looking for last-minute accommodation in Canggu and all I can say is wow! The property was beautiful in all respects. The main pool area was stunning and surrounded by lush greenery and lounge chairs. What I loved the most was the balcony in each room that overlooked a beautiful view with a large net that you could lay in. Food was amazing, hospitality was ever better. I will definitely be back.
