What I liked was the central location , the parking was excelent, The bar with a great view over the danube and the Dom. The rooms were large and comfortable and quite. All in all I would recomend this hotel. we did not have the chance or time to use the restaurant so i can't comment on that, the personel were forth comming and attentive. One of the reasons I chose this Hotel was that they answered every post, positive or negative. Again we liked it and we would stay again.

It was Little things, They had taken out the minibars, there was no shoe horn, no writing paper, there were no interior curtains, oh they had curtains alright but not ones for between the window and the dark curtains. They say " If you want anything call reception". That is not on; it's a sign they are cost cutting.

Excellent hotel in a fantastic location right at the heart of Regensburg. Lovely views of river and cathedral from certain rooms. Staff are courteous, professional and very attentive. Food is amazing especially the Thursday evening Italian buffet. Special mention to a student trainee at reception desk as she answered so many of my questions with a smile on her face.😀

There was an issue with water supply in Regensburg and in the shower it was brown coloured water but I guess it’s not hotel’s fault. Rooms are quite basic and band but that’s personal choice. No other complaints

The staff were excellent. Always willing to help, especially Sophia who went above and beyond to help. Stayed in room 124 (junior suite) of executive wing and room was very spacious with wide bath and large lounge area. View was brilliant.

A bit hard to get to by taxi from the station due to bridge closures to cars. Just outside of old town but made up for by quiet area in a pretty setting.

The hotel location was exceptional with views of the river and the old town cathedral (Junior suit with river view was the room we rented). The room was spacious, clean, comfortable bed, amazing bathroom with a bathtub and shower. We really enjoyed opening the windows and listening to the sound of the river. Walking distance to all attractions. Parking on basement was easily accessible and very convenient. We really loved this place.

One English channel in the TV would have been perfect. That was the only thing missing. Also Booking.com mentioned the room had a coffee maker but it didn't. It was Ok because we were able to make instant coffee with the tea kettle.

The hotel is located on a small island next to the historical bridge leading into the city. Getting there by car is bit tricky, but is definitively worth the trouble. We got a suite (#201) in the corner of the building with a beautiful view of the river, the bridge and the old town. The room itself was huge. The staff were really nice and helpful. The breakfast buffet was great.

The furniture and room decoration, although in excellent condition, was probably considered modern in the 1990's, but looks a bit old by current standards. I would expect something a bit more contemporary for a hotel of this category. This is the only reason I did not give a "10" to this hotel. The river was quite noisy when the windows were open. It did not affect us but it may be an issue for some travellers.

The location was great, especially with the Christmas market just across the bridge. The dogs had a brilliant time with a lot of other local dogs and all the owners were very relaxed about them all playing. The reception staff were lovely, especially when our 8 year old Golden Retriever had problems navigating the shiny floor in reception. She worried about slipping so we all employed various tactics to try and encourage her across, ending with using two different dog mats as tiles to create safe islands for her. We couldn't eat dinner in the restaurant as they were booked with Christmas parties but that was fine as we found somewhere nearby. Reception was very helpful with parking because with our roof box we were too high for the underground car park, and with advice about walking the dogs due to the river having flooded. The room was lovely. Breakfast was good. We will definitely return for a stay dedicated stay (without the dogs).

it was an absolutely perfect location, polite attentively staff, a big room. And an excellent breakfast in a nice cozy restaurant that made us happy before we leave.

Pillows was terrible and old, it is even difficult to call a pillow... also I was surprise to know that they are not cleaning your rooms during 3 days of staying... I would be not ready for this at all, but fortunately we stayed there only one night.

The location of Hotel Sorat on the Isle is perfect. And such a close walk across the old bridge to the heart of the Altstadt. The room was large and light-filled, the view across the river ever-so-pleasing. We found the room and furnishings to be very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious. Breakfast was very good. Parking was easy and convenient. We recommend this hotel for a unique experience in lovely Regensburg.

Minor detail - as an older guest, I find soap/shampoo dispensers that have to be squeezed are difficult.

The location of this hotel is perfect for exploring the city. The footbridge is a few feet from the front door and there are lively restaurants and shops to explore.

The hairdryer cut itself off after only a minute of drying time. I guess it overheated? Not sure but maybe bring your own hair dryer.

Location, the presidential suite was spacious and beautiful views, that would rate a 10. However…

No room service, no consideration for having a small dog even though hotel boasts dog friendly, we were outcast to the lobby, breakfast was cold, no dinner options. Parking expensive.
