I absolutely loved the staff!!! Shawna, Jabria and Porsche gave excellent customer service and always with a smile. They really went above and beyond to be helpful whenever needed and I really appreciated them for that.

The rooms are quite tight and very dark. They really need to have the option of a sheer curtain so you can let some light in the room without losing all of your privacy. The blackout shades work very well but they are not great during daylight hours because the room is totally dark. If you open them then you and other guests are looking directly into each other's rooms and right at you in the bed. Not good at all. That left me forced to work in a room that felt like a cave during the day because it was so dark. The dark wall color combined with the dark, small room made for a rather uncomfortable experience for me. I am very sorry for that because I loved the staff and the location.

It was a good location. The rooms and facilities were clean. They have a breakfast.

We were waiting bc there was no one at the desk upon check-in. Did not care for that bc I think there should always be someone at the check-in desk. So, that's poor staffing. The room was clean but small for 2 double beds. The bathroom was small, too, and we did not like the open shower area. There's no closure and no divider between the shower and the rest of the bathroom. If pricing is similar, I'd choose a better hotel. We only stayed here bc I had a gift card.

Lovely hotel, based very central in downtown Philadelphia. The room I had was very modern and quite spacious with 2 Queen size beds, There is a complimentary breakfast in the morning, which was decent enough. The staff at this hotel were superb, they were very helpful with any questions I had. The hotel is very close to a Metro station to get about Philadelphia, but there are loads of places to visit that were within easy walking distance as well.

All great, view from the window was perfect, also breakfast was alright. Great location.

Too little room, not much space for two people, one side of the bed was not so good and we returned rented car before reaching the hotel what was a good choice because the parking is there expensive. And even though the hotel has perfect location, you have to prepare for morning noise from the traffic and street rush. But generally the hotel was god choice

- good room price for central downtown location - many sights and metro stations in short walking distance - friendly, helpful staff - continental breakfast buffet with good amount of choices

- as a European I found it strange that I was not able to open the windows and that the aircon was on 24/7. - the room had many windows and was very light, but through every window others can look into the room (incl. bathroom), so all blinds need to be closed during daytime when getting dressed.

Had a great stay at Fairfield downtown, nice and pleasant staff, always available, had a little plug pb with my room on arrival and was reassigned another one right away. conveniently located in walking distance from everything, nice breakfast and restaurant, would definitely return

Only negative memory is my asking for an extra hour for check out being turned down, after a 8 days stay ( they do provide storage for luggages if your flight is later on the day..)

I thought the entire staff were so friendly and ready to help with anything I needed, including when a stranger dropped her keys down the sewer drain, I went in to see if anyone could help and they didn’t hesitate to help her, she got her keys back! The continental breakfast was very good (although some days pancakes would have been a nice change), but I am not complaining, they had a variety to choose from and it was delicious. House cleaning were always on point if you needed them. It was a lovely 4 days and I truly was sad to leave. I will return in the future and will recommend this hotel to anyone traveling there. The costs were reasonable, and well worth every penny spent.

I can’t say I didn’t like anything, a bench to sit on outside for us smokers would have been nice, but, it isn’t something this hotel caters to and I can respect that.

Location, breakfast, very comfy beds and a good price.

The shower was always cold, didn’t matter what time of day it was a freezing cold shower. We walked several miles a day as we were there for a convention; we tried at night and first thing in the morning, no difference.

Staff was super nice - everyone said Hi and we felt like everyone we saw liked working there - sometimes you can tell when a place is just not a great place to work but I didn't get that feeling at all. Breakfast was good - lots to choose from and never seemed to run out of anything! And the location was perfect! So many wonderful restaurants and shops. Walking distance from lots of historic places! Was really convenient to everything!

The room was pretty small - I hit my head on the TV several times even though we had pushed it against the wall as much as it could be pushed back.
