Everything went very well. Location was one block-easy walking distance-to the Convention Center. The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. All the staff we had dealings with were pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. There was a cafe with sandwiches, snacks and breakfast on site. We did not time to use the restaurant. My only complaint and it really not a complaint is that is was extremely busy which was understandable with all going on. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend it.

Very busy when arriving and getting to valet parking and some times in the hotel itself but it was a busy weekend!

The location was absolutely perfect, and the overall hotel stay was incredible. The room was very comfortable, and the bed provided a great night’s sleep, though I do wish I had brought my own pillow. The valet service made it much easier to get to our room upon arrival, which was a big help. Additionally, having food delivered to the hotel was a breeze, adding to the convenience of our stay. Overall, I’m very happy with the experience and would highly recommend it.

The elevator system could be more efficient, as it often took a long time to catch one. The stairs, while they do provide access to all floors, are not straightforward—requiring guests to navigate hallways between sections, which can feel like a maze. This layout is especially inconvenient late at night when you’re tired. On the positive side, the valet was very helpful in guiding us to our hotel room when we arrived. However, it took an hour and a half to retrieve our car when we were ready to leave, which was frustrating and significantly delayed our departure. Providing guests with clear instructions or a map before arrival, as well as improving the valet service, would make the experience much smoother. And the pillows are not comfortable.

I had food delivered to my room. But I was occupied taking care of my friend in the room who was sick so I asked for the delivery person to take the food straight to the room. The front desk didn’t allow him to come up and then refused to bring it up themselves. This was so inconvenient! Also, check in was such a hassle because the front desk person claimed I only paid to reserve a room as opposed to the entire stay. She didn’t believe me and go back to management until I showed her my bank statement showing that the total stay amount had been taken from my account. This check in process took over 30mins.

The room was large and comfortable, with a nice big shower and great workspace (I was there for a conference). Lobby bar was a natural place to meet people and chat, and it was not too loud with lots of comfortable seating, tables, and TVs. I ate in the hotel only once - the Reading Terminal Market is right across the street and so there are lots of better, more affordable options over there. Location is great, with easy access to the metro and SEPTA, and within easy walking distance to the museums on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. Would definitely stay here again.

Parking is expensive, and it takes a *long* time to get your car if you are doing it when everyone else is checking out. A little chaotic in the valet area when I arrived, too.

Location, as next to the main food market and the train connection to the airport. Also the main National Park museum and park are located in a walking distance, to cover the main sightseeing. The room was clean and comfortable. Comfortable bed, an armchair, desk to work and TV. The bathroom was spacious and staffed with the basic needed. The in house restaurant, which offers buffet breakfast for about $20 - I was not able to try the custom made omelets as no staff was there, and the small store with basic food supplies (pizza, coffee, snacks, drinks).

Would have liked a room on a higher floor for the view, but my room was practical for my visit

Clean and comfortable, good beds and laundry. Pretty quiet. Friendly, helpful and courteous staff. Good street view from our room. Very good location for downtown and public transport connections.

Wifi limit is very small and makes life difficult for for travellers without generous cellphone data. And marriott/bonvoy website not good to use. Connection generally good. And with no business centre work video calls were impossible. Seems bit odd for such a business oriented hotel. Noise from ice and vending machine meant constant electrical humming in room. Are they really necessary?

This was a mom and daughters trip. Our first time staying in a hotel like this. I usually go for a cost effective facilitydue to it being just an overnight stay. Staff and facilities (hi Blessings and Kevin) are excellent. My name on the tv screen welcoming and sending me home was a very nice touch. For the reason we were there i would stay again. This will be my go to hotel when we cone to Philly.

That parking fee and all of those fees were excessive. The room could use a little paint but thats just nitpicking.

Marriott Downtown was an excellent location walk to in any direction. Across the street was Reading Terminal Market and a short walk to Chinatown. A lot of wonderful places to eat. The bed was comfortable, the room and bathroom were clean.

The room was not soundproof people walk and talk in the hallway, you can hear everything. Special at nighttime when people come back from the night out. You can see the gap underneath the door.

The beds were extremely comfortable. The room served its purpose and was clean. It was nice to have everything within walking distance. We only stayed one night, and it was exactly what we needed. The block out curtains were perfect for sleeping in.

We were greeted to a fire alarm warning, but I won't blame the hotel for that. It was an inconvenience because we couldn't get to our room until the elevators were running again. A couple of more places to dine in at the hotel would have been nice.

Property is gorgeous. It is in a city so be aware that there could be construction and protest around the property. Absolutely get breakfast there even if you aren’t staying there go get breakfast. Very walkable and security is amazing. Trust me if you read my other reviews I am never really impressed with breakfast, the breakfast is delicious. The cleanliness of this property exceeded my expectations. I didn’t even see housekeeping at all it was like magic. This is definitely the place to stay for anybody who is a clean freak, enjoys convenience, and loves breakfast. The staff was swift and courteous. I have to go back because I specifically wanted to leave an envelope for Lisa who works in the dining area and was unable to make my way back because of time constraints. I will be back.

The parking garage says daily but Wi-Fi says 24 hours. I did not park there because I do not want to pay 66$ daily which could mean 12 or 24. Also the incidentals are not charged separately which caused me confusion. You have other parking options so it’s not a reason to not stay at this location. You do pay for convenience and I need to get in my miles in a lovely walkable city.
