The room was beautiful and very clean and quiet. It overlooked the City Hall plaza.

The staff was not overly friendly or helpful. The main entrance is especially confusing with one on the ground floor and the other up a flight of stairs. My brother and best friend both came to meet me (different times) and the security staff person sitting at the ground floor entrance was both unfriendly and unhelpful. It was raining and my friend stood in the rain for 10 minutes waiting for me. The staff person kept looking at her like she was a criminal and did not suggest she wait in the lobby. The same thing happened to my brother. These security staff need serious customer service training!

The bedspread had some stains on it and it got so hot in the room during the night. The day time was fine but at night it seemed like the AC had trouble keeping the room cool

Clean room, spotless bathroom, comfortable bed, quiet stay minus the AC. Love the fact that there are no pet fees.

The air conditioning blew incredibly loudly during the day on and off at short regular intervals and didn’t appear adjustable from our room. We could have phoned the front desk, but chose not to inquire. Then in the night, the intervals lengthened and the small room became quite hot.

The view from the our room was great, we could see all the historic architecture and enjoy the sunset from our window. The bed and shower was nice but the room itself wasn't the most spacious - ideal for if you are staying alone but still comfortable for you and your partner. The lobby was very enjoyable, with a nice indoor/outdoor sitting area and bar, 24/7 "market" with a good selection of microwave meals and snacks, and a pool table.

The room service could have been better. My socks picked up so many hairs in the first few minutes, it left the impression that the floors weren't vacuumed well. They also ran out of clean towels on our second night.

I was surprised it was a Marriott hotel. The decor and room were wonderful. The lobby area has a fresh feel. On my first night my tv wasnt working. The maintenance man was leaving but he came up and fixed the issue. The shampoo, conditioner are of high quality.

A little dust on certain not so obvious surfaces. That's all. The front desk was receptive when I told her. When I arrived, the system didn't have me as having selected a King, corner. The bed also didn't feel quite like a king in length as it did in width. It was very comfortable though. Adding a sparkling water or something in the fridge other than water or or something might be a nice touch.

I loved my stay at Aloft, the room was clean, comfortable and the location was fantastic. Room was a bit small, but I personally prefer smaller boutique hotels so this wasn't a problem.

There was nothing I didn't enjoy about this hotel. I can't fault it at all. If I ever go back to Philly I will definitely book this hotel again.

Great for a quick stay. Located near all walk to City center, China town, Rittenhouse. Good value for a king bed and comfortable, with a nice view on the top floors . Staff is nice. Also, good parking garage is available and Valley parking if needed easy to pull up in front of the hotel.

I was in the area to work, and only used the hotel to sleep, so I did not have the opportunity to fully experience the facility

I was never able to get the "free" wifi to connect. I contacted the front desk, and was referred to tech support, but never provided with a contact #.

Fantastic location. Very walkable, close to the market for great food options, wonderful view of city hall from the window. All the staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. Room was modern, clean, and comfortable with everything you need for a short stay.

The air con was very loud and not that effective. The mattress was too soft for our preference but that is everyone’s personal opinion.

The hotel staff was very friendly, and caring about my stay. They were knowledgeable and helpful for the surrounding area. The room was very clean, and safe.

When I called to confirm the reservation , they front desk agent indicated that you DID NOT need a room key to access the guest floor, but when I arrived you did. This was very frustrating, as I had many friends coming at different times and having to come down to get them each time was annoying.
