The hotel is a stunningly beautiful building. The staff were amazing, so nice and helpful. Service exceptional. The location of the hotel is perfect for walking around Bucharest. It has a spa with pool, sauna and steam room. Treatments were fantastic. I will definitely stay here again.

I cannot make a single complaint. Everything was perfect. Short of controlling the weather the staff could not have done more for us.

This centrally located hotel in the Old Town is ideal for a mini break in Bucharest. It is high end and everything you need. Very nice spa and pool area for relaxing after sightseeing.

At first we were given a room with very high ceilings and one small skylight. We felt that we were in a claustrophobic prison cell. The staff very kindly found an alternative room with a lovely big window. I would really suggest to the hotel that rooms without windows are removed from future guest use unless absolutely essential. I would not have been able to stay in a windowless room without getting very depressed.

The interior is just stunning! The staff is very attentive and the rooms are clean and comfortable! We also enjoyed the pool and it's just amazing. The bonus was that it was empty, so we could enjoy it all for ourselves!

The fact that there is a deposit of 50€ per day and you only know about it when you get to the hotel. I didn't like that, they should post it on booking as well to warn clients.

The building itself, the headquarter of a former old bank is absolutely gorgeous and I really appreciate that they kept the style and the design from those old times in the lobby, restaurant and bar. We also really enjoyed the Vault bar, it is worth visiting even if you are not staying at the hotel - the cocktails were expensive but special but the design of the bar is what makes the experience worth it (it is placed in the actual vault of the former bank). The spa, although it was rather small, was very clean and well equipped and the massages were also very good. The rooms were very tall, bed was very comfortable. The staff was nice and helpful. Location is great, in the city center, close to everything. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Every effort was made by staff to ensure a good stay at this large well run 5-star hotel. They were friendly, knowledgeable, efficient. Luggage taken at the door and arrived quickly at our room. Breakfast buffet and al a carte were excellent. On the edge of the Old Town, the location was perfect. Room was clean & well presented. Multiple glass bottles of water freely supplied on request. Room was large and comfortable with desk, table and chairs. Bed was large, a little soft for our taste, but a solid cinstruction, with crisp, clean bed linen and pillows. We tend to explore a new city, so didn't use the hotel facilities. On checkout, our luggage was brought to reception. The bellboys/porters took the luggage to our waiting transport for the next phase of our journey. In all, a very pleasant and comfortable stay at a genuine 5-star hotel. Should we visit Romania again, this would be our preferred hotel!

Just a stunning lobby and lounge and staircases with marble, arches, stained glass, restored painting. Great location for touring Bucharest. Thoroughly enjoyed cooling off in lounge with wine and cocktails (it was very hot outside!), even though we didn't love the Vault bar in spite of how awesome it is (see below!). Relaxed in the spa - great temperature in the pool and comfortable lounge chairs. Our room was very nice and well taken care of!

The cologne/perfume smell that is piped into the Vault bar is WAY too intense. It also floats out and up into the lobby and entrance, the elevators, etc. I suppose some folks like it. But it was very off putting. We had a drink in the Vault, but it was VERY loud, very warm, and the heavy cologne smell had us hurrying to finish our drinks and get out of there. MUCH more pleasant experience up in the main lobby lounge area.

Lovely, well maintained hotel. Manages to blend modern comforts in a traditional and classic building. Staff very attentive and pleasant and happy to respond to inquiries in or out of the hotel. Spa nice, gym well equipped and clean. Rooms feel spacious, great pillows and very high quality linens. Wonderful breakfast with terrific variety to satisfy any palate including an omelete to order station and a la carte items included in the price. Hotel location is extremely convenient to a vibrant local scene in the Old City. Would definitely recommend and would seriously consider revisiting.

Fantastic hotel in a great location. Staff were very welcoming and helpful, and the spa was great, the vault bar was brilliant too.

I was asked to pay a deposit upon arrival, which was more than the total cost for our stay. We were not expecting this and did not have the funds ready on the bank card we planned to use.

Probably the most beautiful hotel in Bucharest. Stunning interior! The bar inside the hotel is also a must see!

Our view from the room was not great whilst I don’t think any of the rooms has nice views. We felt safe in the area but most properties around the hotel looked like they were already or almost falling apart. Also there was a bit of an odd smell in the room
