Our family had the most amazing time staying at Vallarta Shores! We stayed in Sky Suite F and enjoyed the location, the room and views, private pool, and Chef Raul was fantastic with our group and meal requests and suggestions. Everything was so delicious, and Raul was able to curate great meals that worked for us adults as well as kids (age 7-12) in our group, where we often invited our friends from another room to join us. As our first time in Puerto Vallarta, staying on the beach near the Zona Romántica was a fantastically centralized spot to relax or explore: the city, the beach in front of us, wandering south on the beach to the quieter Playa Conchas Chinas, bus trip to Mismaloya, and a day in Yelapa via water taxi from the pier.

Booking through a third party reserves a 3-room sky suite, but not a specific one (as we thought we might get Suite B with a bigger pool for the kids.) For that it’s best to book direct, which we’ll do next time. That said, I think we enjoyed the layout and view in Suite F enough that we’d request it again! The beach and neighboring club Mantamar were quite busy our first few days there, although we knew to expect that for Semana Santa (week leading to and of Easter weekend.) Louder music would go from about 11:30-8:30pm, but didn’t bother us. After Easter, everything in the neighborhood turned much more mellow and less crowded.

Ramon, our chef, is exceptionally talented. Every meal was a gourmet feast. I asked him for recommendations for what type of meals to eat, and everything he prepared was delicious and healthy! He was a tremendous host and very flexible when it came to unexpected changes in our plans. I asked for a specific Mexican dish that he had never prepared, and it came out better than what I had in mind! The concierge staff was also extremely helpful and attentive. The location is literally perfect. The beach is all white sand and not in downtown PVR, which means it was practically empty. The cleaning crew was thorough and fast.

AMAZING 😍🤩!!! Suite F was a WOW factor for sure! It was truly a vacation, staycation for us. Besides our daily and nightly walks, we spent as much time as we could admiring the view from our open air abode. Sea view across the whole length of the flat and bedrooms. The flat had its own private 15+ foot pool which was heated. We spent every day/night swimming. The beach is literally outside the front door, with a communal pool as well. If that wasn't enough, we had our own private Chef, Raul! He prepared any meal we desired. A big shout out to Raul, he really took care of us!!! I'm spoiled for sure!! This flat was worth every penny spent! Already making plans to return next May.

The suite was very clean, the maid did a great job and was very pleasant. The view from the balcony was very nice

The street in front of hotel is full of drug sellers, and always garbage bags on sidewalk that smells, but not the hotel's fault

The hotel is exceptional! The rooms are beautifully decorated and complete with just about anything you need. It’s located directly on the beach and the rooms have amazing views. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony, listening to the waves and taking in the views. I highly recommend this hotel and can’t wait to go back!

It would be nice if they could keep the merchants off the hotel’s property and sectioned beach area. It’s hard to relax in the loungers cause people are constantly approaching you trying to sell something.

This property was great for our family of 5 (3 adults and 2 kids) The staff was excellent and everything we needed was provided. We wanted accommodations with a full kitchen and large spacious rooms, so this condo was perfect. It sits on its own private beach and the rooms all have balconies facing the ocean. The location of this property is especially good for walking to restaurants and town. We were so pleased that our grandchildren were able to experience this vibrant mexican town rather than just hang at a resort. It is very clean and updated and we also felt safe at all times.

I wouldn't say this is something we didn't like necessarily and it wasn't directly related to the facilities of the property. Our trip was during the busiest week of Spring break and the thumping of the music from the nearby clubs was, at times, just a bit much. The music did not last long into the night so sleeping was never a problem. This would never deter us from staying at this property, however we might not book a trip during the busiest party week of the year... (our bad). That being said, the facility itself is great and sits at the very end of the beach strip with its own private roped off area so we always had chairs, palapas, etc available to us.

The suite and views were gorgeous, private chef was amazing, so nice to have our own infinity pool, rooms were big and clean, staff was super helpful in booking transportation etc., overall experience felt like the benefits of an all inclusive with the freedom to explore the city. Highly recommend!

There are some big rocks in the water right in front of the hotel but you just need to move farther down the beach and it’s fine to go in! Also the food was a little too much for how much we eat so we ended up overpaying a bit, but the quality was amazing and chef was so sweet!

The property is literally steps from the beach so it was super convenient and we had amazing sunset views! Our room was spacious and clean, the staff were all amazing. Our highlight was the private chef services this property offers and our chef, Edwin, was an absolute pro. He wowed us at every meal and is not only a talented chef but accommodating about adjusting the times of our meals for any reason.

As some other people have said, it can get quite loud with the music next door but it quieted down relatively early - around 9pm. At the time of our stay there was also some construction happening so that added to the daytime noise.

The suite was amazing, we traveled with my parents and son so everyone having their own bedroom and bathroom was perfect. And having our own infinity pool was luxury, the open space and view were incredible. We took advantage of having the suite stocked with groceries so when we arrived we had everything we needed. And our chef Lulu was amazing, she made the vacation. Having the ability to have meals made for us and to not have to look for a restaurant to dine out all the time was so convenient, especially with my older parents. We all loved the experience, it felt like a true vacation.

Location wise you are at the end of the Romantic Zone so it felt like most restaurants and bars were a good distance away. This wasn’t a problem for us since we had a lot of meals made and stayed in the suite but if you want to walk and explore the Malecón and bars and restaurants in that area, you might find the location a bit out of the way.
