The place was huge. Very nice terrace.

Check in was a little problematic- there was no one there and we couldnt get through to the owner. He finally called us back after 40 minutes and gave us code to our room. He apologized and was very welcoming. Breakfast was basic. Just some cereals, candy bars, bagel and jam.

The rooms are huge, well appointed, super clean, and have all the amenities you could want or need. The breakfast bar is open 24/7 and they have a hand picked selection of good fresh food and treats. If that isn't enough, the Owners are there and are the perfect hosts.. friendly, caring, full of great information about the area and it's history, and we had a very special evening chatting away with them. They're special folks, don't miss out getting to know them. I couldn't have dreamed up a better experience and I feel so fortunate my daughter chose this lodge. Highly recommend. This place earns all it's stars.

Zion Cliff Lodge is an incredible place located right on the border of Utah and Arizona. The lodge offers convenient self-check-in and check-out and boasts breathtaking views. The room was quite spacious and with all amenities. It's just about 30ish minutes from Zion National Park if you take the scenic shortcut via a dirt road, which the host recommended for our 4×4 vehicle—it was an unforgettable drive! The host, Mr. Shem, was exceptionally hospitable. I highly recommend Zion Cliff Lodge and would rate it higher than a perfect 10! Truly felt like a home away from home!

My husband and I loved the location, the atmosphere, the owners and amenities! Very quaint and quiet but a close drive to trails, restaurants and the scenery was beautiful. We would definitely recommend staying at Zion Cliff Lodge and we hope to visit again!

As any place you stay, other guests create a bit of noise such as doors closing or loading and unloading as they come and go but this was at a minimum. Everyone was respectful of later evening and early morning quiet times.

No thermostat in the room, no control on temperature

Everything was simply amazing! The owners were so friendly, it felt like home. The place is wonderfully designed and done, we really loved it. Rooms are exceptional, clean and stylish. We also spent great time on the patio, the location was beautiful on both sunset and sunrise. The 24 hour bar is also great btw! Oh, and don’t forget about breakfast, the breakfast we got was just a chef’s kiss, great ingredients and high quality.

It is located in the street that divides Arizona and Utah so it was nice to be able to be in 2 states at once. The owner was amazing ..they offered some breakfast items for free. I loved that the room had a microwave and fridge as well as a small kitchen and sitting area.

When we first arrived I was surprised that there was no bathroom in our room. After speaking to the front desk we were transferred to a different room with a bathroom at no additional cost. Make sure to review if your room has a shared bathroom or its own.

The rooms were clean and the decor was nice. The owner was very friendly and nice. The continental breakfast was good.

We reserved two rooms and we thought each room would have its own bathroom. However, one of the rooms shared a bath room in the hallway with other guests. We did not expect this. I also thought this lodge was close to Zion Canyon National Park, however, it was nearly an hour drive from the park on the south side. Fortunately we were headed in that direction the next day toward the north rim of the Grand Canyon, so we did not have to back track.

Shem and Lisa the owners were AMAZING!!! So gracious and helpful. The rooms were very clean and in fantastic conditions. They have a cute bar area and many great breakfast selections. The lodge was conveniently located to Zion the Grand Canyon north rim and the St George hotel. We would stay there again if in the area.

There is not much within walking distance. Kind of desolate without having to drive. We had a shared bathroom that worked out fine for us but others may not like that situation.
