This is not our first time in Viareggio, but this is the first time we stay at the President Hotel, and this is a special pleasure)) The rooms are very beautiful. Excellent breakfast. Above all, the staff were excellent, especially Eleanor, the receptionist and all the dining room staff. They were working incredibly hard. The hotel is only about 10 minutes from the Duomo so it’s pretty well situated.

I think the room was slightly small, but the bathroom was very good. It would help having hangers on the back of doors. I think the hotel was a little expensive for the quality of the accommodation.

Breakfast was well prepared and there was plenty of choice including healthy foods as well as the standard breakfast fare. The beach is quite literally over the road so very little walking. Good selection of restaurants nearby.

Location was excellent and comfortable. The staff were very helpful friendly and excellent customer service especially at breakfast Matilda was always smiling and welcoming. Also organising car / driver from Viareggio to Florence thank you

Very small shower and needs a update

The breakfast was excellent. Good selection catering for all tastes and you could have special dishes cooked freshly. We ate at the restaurant and it was a very good meal. Well cooked, generous portions and very well flavoured. A very good chef. The room (third floor) was comfortable and had good air conditioning. However, we first had a room higher up (5th floor) that was too hot but the staff quickly changed our room for us. There was no fuss and they couldn't have been more helpful. There was a bar which was open in the evenings.

Perhaps offer some other food during the day and put milk and tea in the room not just coffee and sugar.

Excellent breakfast and staff very friendly and accommodating . Reception very helpful . Bar area very modern and comfortable to have a drink in the evening . Location is great for visiting Pisa , Lucca and Cinque Terre. Rooms were large and clean.

No outdoor space to sit . The private beach a bit too congested for our liking .

Exceptional hotel in a fantastic location! My room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The balcony provided a perfect space for reading and my morning coffee. The seaview is fabulous!

My only issue is people are allowed to smoke on their balconies. This permeated my space and my room when the balcony door was open.

We had a double balcony with view of the ocean from the front and side, great to relax and watch the ocean or people strolling down the boardwalk. Breakfast was good. Bar was ok. Could of had a better offering for apertivo.

We had the best stay at Hotel President, the hotel is in a great location, a 15 minute walk from the train station and literally on the promenade across the road from the beach. Our room was lovely and spacious with a nice view. The hotel offers vouchers for Beach club Irene and Beach club Ameda. Breakfast is fabulous, huge selection and a large a la cart menu made freshly to order. Finally, the staff are very friendly and accommodating.

The location is fantastic, the staff are always friendly and the breakfast is great! The room is nice, the bed is a little stiff but I have found this to be the same in most Italian hotels.

Would have preferred that the hotel had some form of bike hire / gym facilities, for rainy days but it's not an absolute must ;-)
