Quiet apartment, was very clean, small and cozy room. It has a fridge, microwave, stove, everything you need. The hallways are beautiful. It was also a very easy self-check-in process.
I didn't have soap in the room at first and Shonda came to my rescue very quickly to provide some! The AC also stopped working because I accidentally turned the heat on simultaneously as well thinking both systems were the AC controls, but Shonda was kind enough to clarify that for me and helped me to fix it. The surrounding area is a bit rough on the eyes like people said, but safe.

Check in was smooth. Apartment is small but clean. Value for money. Appreciate that there was a washer and dryer at the basement. Owner was also responsive and prompt to address queries through the app.
For the few days I was there, the neighbourhood wasn’t well maintained. As this functioned more like an airbnb concept, there wasn’t daily housekeeping. Also didn’t like the fact that the 200USD deposit wasn’t mentioned upfront in the description before booking.

The property is newly renovated. The design of the rooms is pretty. The room was very clean. It was very quiet there for the 3 days that I stayed there. The neighborhood is urban. I recommend to use Uber/Lyft at nighttime. The property management was very responsive. There are bus lines really close that take you straight to downtown. I enjoyed my stay.

It’s a comfortable place, and although the space is small, it’s well distributed perfect for resting after a day of sightseeing. The interior of the building is very nice, clean, and smells good. Something that had us a bit worried was parking, but fortunately, we were always able to park without any problem in front of the accommodation. There was always space available, no matter what time we arrived.
I didn’t like that a lot of street noise filters into the apartment; at night or in the early morning, it can be quite loud. Personally, I also don’t like that the curtains let in so much light from the street at night, the streetlights shine into the room, and in the morning, it’s very, very bright. It would be nice to have two types of curtains, like in some hotels, so the morning light is softer. I wouldn’t recommend cooking, especially frying, because the smell of the food lingers in the small space. As a recommendation, the pillows are due for a replacement.

There was a room mix-up initially, but the owner upgraded us well beyond anything I've experienced in the past. The renovated interior spaces were exceptional, artistic, and made novel re-use of original building materials (I renovate my own spaces as a hobby -- really got a lot of ideas). We had no issues with damage deposits as reported in some reviews. Overall an excellent stay with quick Lyft access to downtown and U.Penn, and an exceptional host.
No issues at the property.

The property was clean. Great location for what we were wanting.
Wish the AC worked a bit better. Wish we had better access to staff to get extra towels, sheets, etc.

I was pleased with many things. It was very easy to go to the city center, especially with a single bus, in 20-25 minutes. There is only a small grocery store close to the property, but it is within walking distance of Temple University and there are a variety of shopping and dining options there. The employees at the place are very helpful and respectful. Even though I don't speak English well, they always list me and helped me with many things. I thank them very much. I would stay at this place again. It's a new place and I think it will get better over time. I saw some comment about here such as dangerous and bad about the neighborhood. I think these comments are about bias or expectation. I think the neighborhood are not dangerous. The neighbors are very kind and helpful. Only some streets are a little dirty and neglected. That's why it feels this way.
Although login information is sent online before, it would be good if the information was sent more earlier or if there was someone who could be reached by ringing the doorbell. Brief informational text can be placed in the rooms (the nearest market, who can we ask questions about the room, etc.). Finally, some rooms have bunk beds or on the ground floor. The incoming person may be informed about the nature of his/her room when making a reservation, or some rooms may be expensive compared to other rooms.

A good place for solo travellers and students already familiar with Philadelphia. The kitchen inside the studio was useful as someone on a special diet. There are two bus routes within a few blocks. There is a washing machine and dryer on site, which a lot of people living in Philadelphia don't have. Saves trips to the laundromat.
The loft bed doesn't seem necessary in the studio room, there's enough space for a normal set up and make the rooms usable for more customers.

Good seed I loved my stay! From the beginning needing a code to get into the building & your room was an absolute plus! I felt more secure in my stay since I was staying alone. The hallway, the decor, everything was beautiful. As you walk through the building each floor is super clean. I loved the colors they chose throughout each floor. When I entered my room the setup was simple but comfortable. The room was clean & smelled nice. They provide you with cups, bowls, plates, utensils, pots & pans, coffee maker, toaster, towels, & washcloths. Although I didn’t use any of that stuff (except the towels) it was still nice to know if needed those items they were there. The bathroom was SUPER CLEAN, the shower temperature was amazing each time. There was a spot for me to park every time I came back from an outing, there wasn’t much noise at night or in the mornings. It wasn’t until Sunday night that I heard people outside but it wasn’t anything to disturb anyone. I’d definitely stay here again. 10/10 recommend!
There wasn’t anything negative about my stay.
