Loved the amenities, thoughtful touches, cleanliness and decor.

I wish there had been slippers provided. And hand lotion.

The check in process was easy (I was worried about not having staff there but the communication was so smooth I was able to access my unit easily). Texting with the staff prior to check in was so helpful as I was flying in, and the bed was SUPER comfy which surprised me. I got two great nights of sleep - so unusual when I am away from home! Small thoughtful touched were appreciated - like the dark towels for make up (smart!) and the roomy shower. I also loved the location and being able to wander over to the wine bar, shopping, and other great spots when I had a little downtime!

The lighting at the mirror was too dim for good face care and make up application before my event, but that is a small thing and easily remedied. I couldn't figure out how to use the iPad, but also not a real problem for me - I was working all weekend anyway.

First time to stay at a Lokal hotel property. We were going to a show at Johnny Brenda's and booked this property. It was beautifully designed with a spare Scandinavian feel. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. The location was great, the show was great and everything worked out really well. We are now staying in a different part of Philadelphia, and I am missing Fishtown and the Lokal!

There is no onsite staff but they go above and beyond to make sure you have all the necessary information as well as information on the surrounding area. The room itself was great! Beautifully decorated, spacious, comfortable, and clean.

Parking can be tricky. The area could also be a little tricky but didn't take long to figure the best way to venture. We also had a front room and the train went by directly outside our window. The hotel did provide ear plugs and a sound machine. Really wasn't that much of a bother.

The place was spacious and comfortable, the facilities were luxurious, be it the shower or the tub and other spa-like details, as well as the super comfy bed. Attention to detail was evident in every small touch. While Fishtown is not near the city center, we found the nearby blocks to have some very cute restaurants, bars, coffee shops and breakfast options that were all very charming. Maybe because we were tired, but the train by the windows did not wake us up.

Well designed space, spacious, good mattresses

Right next to train which caused sound and vibration while sleeping. Not enough trash cans (none in any of the bedrooms), and several outlets were not working.

Located in a great hipster neighborhood of restaurants and shops and cafes. Huge space, very well appointed and decorated. The french press made us feel at home.

Well, to be in philly and not have live security OR a bolt lock available on your door was a bit concerning for me. Also, there was no warning about the 3 story walk up with no elevator, carrying luggage (for some people this would be literally impossible.

Very stylish rooms. Loved the contactless check-in and check-out. Room has a kitchen and just about everything you could want. Train noise was minimal in our room, just a low rumble.

Front door is not very well labeled (no text, only the hotel's logo, which I didn't recognize) so we missed it at first. Parking was also a bit hit or miss, the two recommended lots/garages filled up quickly in the evening.

Room had a great layout and everything in it was great quality. The location was great, walking distance from the show we were in town to see. The morning we checked out, there was lots of brunch spots around to go to. Lot's of great resources in the room to help you figure everything out.

Hotel is next to a train line, which could be an issue if you are a light sleeper. It really wasn't that loud though, it didn't wake me during the night. I also appreciate the staff reached out to us beforehand to tell us about it.

The space is excellent, having a kitchen is great. It the style, decor was great. Much better than staying at a regular boring hotel room.

It’s Philly so it’s sketchy anywhere you go. But fishtown is my favorite area of town.
