I was extremely satisfied with my stay with this property. Every sightseeing location was at walking distance and the staff was extremely nice and very professional. Even though some days the parking was full, they heard my concerns and let me in to check for any space available. Stevie from front desk was so sweet and everyone was available to address any concerns. I even stayed an extra day with them and booked via booking.com and re-check in was seamless! We did not have to leave the room at all. The room was very clean, and our floor was quiet and peaceful. I would recommend this hotel property and would definitely stay again!

The location was very central so we could visit the city centre on foot as we wanted. Our room was very spacious, with a fridge and a microwave. The pool is not huge but quite nice ( it was closed on our arrival because of the rain but could use the following morning before leaving the hotel). There's a small shop at the hotel entrance for drinks and snacks.

I cannot criticise anything really, if anything a small detail: our room was quite large only illuminated by a window at the end so a bit dark, also the view from that lateral window was nothing special. However the room was very comfortable and spacious with a big sofa

Location, location, location!

It was the perfect location for sightseeing and exploring the historic district. Their roof top pool is also very fun. The room was spacious and the bathroom was nice and private. They also gave us free late check out which was fantastic.

The restaurant breakfast is not included and also lacked a good variety of foods. The parking garage was sometimes full and we had to park off Ute at another garage. It was also not explained to us that we needed to validate our ticket to get the guest rate so we ended up paying double the price. There were very small signs posted so part of that was on us in the chaos of trying to check in missing the small directive posted on the ticket machine as we drove in.

Our room 806 was not only spacious and comfortable, but we had a view of both the city and Benjamin Franklin bridge. The bathroom was spacious and the onsite laundry was a bonus. (You will need 3USD in quarters for a wash and dry, which I obtained from reception) We dined at the restaurant on our first night and it was pretty good. Christopher on the tour desk was brilliant. All of the staff we dealt with were wonderful and very friendly. Located in a great area. Coffee machine worked well. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the aircon was quiet and worked welll.

Only 1 bottle of water each per stay is in my opinion a bit mean, however there is a water refill station near the amenities on the ground floor. Only decaf coffee in room on arrival, however after asking reception that was sorted out swiftly. A discount for food and drinks would be a nice addition, or even a small continental breakfast, for a charge would be nice.

The location of the hotel is excellent!! Within walking distance of most things to see/do, and to public transportation. The front desk staff couldn't have been more helpful and knowledgeable. The battery in the smoke detector in my room started chirping one morning so I reported it to the front desk on my way out for the day. It had been replaced by the time I returned that evening.

Yes, the rate was higher than I'm used to paying but in downtown Philly (and most big cities) one should expect to pay more. The location of the hotel made up for the higher rate!

location was perfect for my visit to family living around the block. The room was spacious and provided amenities I never used as I was always out (seating area and kitchenette w a microwave) but it was nice not to feel claustrophobic; importantly: the bed and the pillows were VERY comfortable! Hotel has a car park with in and out accessibility at the one price which was very convenient too. all in all a win at the price.

My key generally failed to operate the lift - other passengers kindly helped out - but it wasn't so easy if I was the only one in it.....

There were a couple of things that could be better. For some reason, the only light in the bathroom was a rather dim light around the mirror with no additional lighting (or fan). It was okay for using the sink (although trying to see my face while shaving was also a challenge), but after you get in the shower and close the curtain, it was obviously not enough. Also (a small thing but why not improve it?) the only option for the in-room coffee maker was decaf which sort of defeats the purpose. These were the problems, but I would not say they were in any was major. The rest—staff, cleanliness—were good with the location that’s very difficult to beat: the Independence Hall and Liberty Bell tourist complex were literally around the corner.

The Shower

Room was very clean and comfortable. Beds comfortable. Air conditioning great. Lobby and other areas were nice, clean, and nicely decorated. Pool was nice to have. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Our room lock was "dead" one night, so we had to wait for the engineer to come and replace/ charge the battery in the locking mechanism for the door. We had to wait outside our room for like 20 mins before we could get in. A few other doors were also dead- they said that happens frequently unfortunately.
