Check in was amazing, Inga was fabulous and was beyond helpful. Our queen room was very tight for two adults and two bags. Our friends had the king bed room on the top floor by the kitchen. It was fantastic. The beds in both rooms were very comfortable. As we have been traveling around South Africa, we are learning that most places do not have screens on the windows so if you want to avoid mosquitos or bugs, you have to keep the windows closed. This makes for a stuffy room. We are also finding that B and B doesn't mean breakfast is included. Breakfast here was R280 per person each. A decent breakfast can be had in a restaurant for. R100. Overall this was a great spot and would recommend it. Bonus for us where the two really awesome doggies that live there.

It was a short but very pleasant stay. The rooms are marvelous, most of all the "honeymoon" one. The breakfast was modest but excellent. Highly appreciated Inga and her personal treatment during all the time from (quite late) check-in until check-out. This accommodation is really very recommended. It´s beautiful, comfortable, very good atmosphere. Congratulations !

Nothing.

The location was absolutely perfect and it was so lovely to see the low tides. The breakfasts were divine and the young lady who was our hostess was fabulous. She helped us with reservations for dinner and when it rained the day we wanted to go to Birds of Eden and Monkeyland she encouraged us to go as you can buy raincoats. We went and it was an absolutely delightful day out. We will definately stay with them again.

There was nothing that we disliked.

The Seaview was spectacular, the bed was super comfortable, good quality bedding, amazing shower and bath , really special place to just relax and get some much needed one on one time , couple time. Adorable doggies = wish we could have seen them more. Wifi was good, decor was super special, file of things to do and places to go super helpful as well.

Nothing, it was perfect.

The first impression Inga gave me was that she is willing to provide you with any information you require, assist you with absolutely anything, simply make your life easier right of the get-go. The room and facilities are amazing! The location is perfect! Our room with a view had my fiancé literally talking about the window/view all trip! Also.... did I mention Inga!? She went above and beyond to make our experience special! From identifying it was my Fiancé's birthday earlier the week and giving us a touching letter and surprise, to her constant assitance with everything while we were in Plett. Her lovely parents were hospitable on arrival and made us feel at home. I have been part of the hospitality industry for close to 15 years and have never had service as amazing as Inga and "A Whale of a View" gave us. The beds are also the most comfortable I have slept on. Literally a no-brainer when in Plett.

I would have loved breakfast to be included, but with it being so central to everything it didn't really matter. I just love my fresh espresso and light breakfast in the mornings without having to shower first and get ready to go out. That's just me and shouldn't detract from selecting them when in Plett.

Wonderful beds and views. Lovely helpful Inge who booked restaurants and got us 10% off parks. Good kitchen facilities. Interesting place with loads of history. Safe parking inside grounds. Would return any day

Wifi very poor in room but bit better in communal area. Continental breakfast wasn’t providedas inadd but could get breakfast for R250/ p. Old doors,, difficult to lick and noisy at night when trying to close bathroom

The stay was really comfortable and pleasant.

As much as we really enjoyed the stay and very happy with the accommodation itself, to be very honest we were disappointed that the breakfast part of the B&B is actually optional at additional cost which i only discovered post payment. This is a first for me as breakfasts are normally part of the deal at a named 'B&B'. To be fair the hostess did offer to fully refund of which we chose to keep the booking as i didnt feel like further admin. If this is not a problem for you then ignore the above and you will have a superb stay! :-)

The view from the balcony at the lounge was great and the garden and trees created a private haven to relax in. The bed was very comfortable. If we had more time to relax the pool area looked great.

We made an upgrade to the honeymoon suite in the upper floor. It has a very nice view across the garden over bushes and trees till the seashore. The room features a huge bed and bathtub (and also a shower) and is very nicely decorated with things from the 18th and 19th century. It has also its little private balcony. There is a huge kitchen available to all guests with huge dining table. I liked also the big terrace with tables and seats and with a stove for braii. The owners were very friendly and helpful.

We really enjoyed the area and helpfulness of the staff (especially Inga). They went out of their way to give great suggestions and even offered some discounts on activities if we wanted to do them.

There was a bit of a weird smell to our shower.
