What makes this place extra special is Debbie, the manager. She goes out and beyond to make sure that the guest is extremely satisfied. She even took me on a hike and had her friend drive me around because I didn't have a car. Thank you Debbie for making my stay here feel like home. I recommend this place to any backpacker and wouldn't stay anywhere else whenever I visit Plattenburg. As for the accommodation itself, it's very clean and you have everything that you need.

Nice old style backpackers, although it’s more of a guest house I suppose. Nice lounge area with fire and plenty of wood to burn. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need and it’s got great security in a nice quiet location yet walking distance to the Main Street.

The communication with the hosts was a bit slow, it’s low season so no one was at the property when we arrived to enquire, but a few hours later we heard back and were shown around.

WONDERFUL staff, very friendly, good security, great location, easy access to the center of town and near shopping center. Room is equipped with fridge, large enough windows for natural light and air flow.

Bathroom can be better maintained - loose faucets, old/damaged mirror, etc., bedroom window faces smoking area.

Everything was ok for the price. But the real kicker was the lady in charge, Debbie. She went above and beyond consistently to give me the best possible experience in Plettenberg Bay. There were some misunderstandings with management about the room pricing, which she handled admirably. Also, she gave me a lift when I really needed one, asking for nothing in return.

Everything about that was great the lady by the reception was great, she makes sure that you're as comfortable as in your own place.. Flat screen TV, wifi and the cable TV which is known as dstv was great.

Everything was on point. The bathroom, sitting room and of course the kitchen fabulousl.

Debbie was extremely compassionate and supported me to much with my husband in ICU in Plett. She brought me coffee when I came back from hospital in the evening and sat by me to encourage me. So much appreciated! She is an ANGEL!

The bathrooms on the bottom floor and I upstairs... And to share a bathroom with other people. I didn't use the bathroom at all

For this price, it was okay to stay in this hostel. I had the luck to get the room with a private balcony, where I enjoyed my breakfast. The host was very kind, no problem to leave my luggage and they even prepared my room for an early check-in. Also they were so kind to make an appointment at the doctor for me and took me there. Thx again Debbie.

It is central to everything and Debbie is so friendly and helpful. We arrived on a day where there was no staff on but the directions and descriptions on how to get in was brilliant! Huge kitchen , lovey interface upstairs and the bathrooms were sooooo clean.

Nothing to mention.

The location was conveniently very central. We were able to walk to shops and restaurants. Lovely view from our balcony too. We were very well looked after by our host, who provided a fan for our room in the excessive heat!

Convenience and value for money.

Too close to the taxi rank. One feels a little insecure with regards to safety arriving late and then having to get out the vehicle to open the remote gate. However our stay was incident free.
