Very good location, near the airport and close to the beach and to the local market and also breakfast had a variety of choices and also the sea view was nice.

The furniture was a bit too old for a five star hotel and also the bathroom not the cleanest and not the best equiped and something worth to be mentioned would be a big rat running around the pool ~ nobody s fault since this area is somehow located in the middle of the nature/jungle, but still very unpleseant.

great pool with swim up bar. multiple restaurants in one place with great food choices, 2 with with ocean views. the staff were amazing and always helpful. the gardens and fish pond were lovely and well maintained. the breakfast was always good with more than enough options. the young trainee on the egg station was very kind and took a lot of pride in his omelettes. the Cafe in the lobby had amazing coffee/frappes and baked goods and sweets.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Discovery. The breakfast buffet was excellent with plenty of variety and the hotel certainly catered for everyone. The staff were excellent. I absolutely loved the pool.

The only problem was when we left the door to the patio open with the air conditioner going, it left moist on the floor, it was quite wet, slippery and very dangerous. We had to mop up the moist with towels, and I was surprised how dirty the floor was. We had to keep the door closed at all times at a certain temperature. The bathroom also needed attention, a few cracked tiles and also shower screen doors needed attention. But over all we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

This place is soooo amasing. The location is perfect, only 2 mins walk into Kuta along the beach pathway but tucked away in a completely silent and tranquil environment. Coral and rock free swimming in the beautiful beach right in front at hight tide and steps going down from the resort... The gardens, ponds, fish and sub tropical surroundings make it heaven to walk through and a huge swimming pool with swim up bar. The staff are amasing... helpful friendly and courteous at all times. The food is soo good and breakfast buffet is to die for - yum ! Oh and a fantastic huge gym, with free weights and a great selection of machines; AND air conditioned! Cannot recommend this place enough ... you CANNOT fault it... stayed 1 week. I will be back again very soon! Thankyou Discovery Kartika Plaza

The breakfast is great, so is the breakfast staff. We had a wonderful room steward. Our room was comfortable and quiet. The hotel is in a perfect location for beach, shopping and the airport connection.

We've stayed in this hotel many times before, we love the location and all the facilities. We were unpleasantly surprised to see that the pool has not been treated properly as there is plenty of mold growing at the bottom of the pool, on the stairs and around the pool bar stools. We love to swim and this hotel has a great pool, that's one of the reasons why we chose this place, but the mold has to go!

The breakfast variety was amazing. The pool was beautiful and always warm. The staff were so lovely. The sauna was nice too. Aircon in rooms were great.

Our shower did not work properly but it may have just been a one-off. Be careful if you wear the headscarf and book a villa as sometimes people walking past can see through or over the fence.

The service was top notch and you can't go past the swim up bar for an amazing cocktail. It was like being on a cruise, we had entertainment starting at 9am with the dancing Bali girls, piano playing, the bali men playing the bamboo exylophones, then the aerobics by the pool to the night time live music with fire twirlers, and so much more. The rooms were immaculate (shout out to Toni on 5th floor) The breakfast was amazing from 6am to 11am so much food to mention, I have attached some photos of our stay, walking distance to Discovery mall, Waterbom park, Atm's, Bars, restaurants, sidewalk stalls for picking up a bargain or two. Also really good security at front and back of property. We couldn't get over how quiet it was and we were staying in the heart of Kuta. And did I mention it is beachfront with a walking track. Anywho, If you choose to stay, I think you'd love it and please have a breakfast Danish for me. Hahaha. We will be back. AAA+++.

Elegant hotel situated on a busy street. Obsequious service staff as expected of these inherently gracious people. Large picturesque landscapes, never crowded, entertainment is OK. They sing banal English songs from 20+ years ago (live band) though so if that’s not your thing…..🏃‍♂️🏃‍♂️ Breakfast: large variety, scrumptious selection of sweet and savoury. Plentiful seating. Septi customer service rep was so gracious to us — thank you To note: rooms have a dated Balinese vibe which I find charming. If you’re a contemp type still give it a try Halal rating: bidets in rooms, qibla clear on ceiling, halal chicken in restaurant but make sure you ask about beef/ Pork + alcohol as this IS staple on their menus. Masjids local. It is a sea front hotel however you will need to walk approx 15mins to enter the sandy area as you cannot enter directly via the hotel.

This is a lovely hotel with a beautiful garden and well-maintained grounds, offering a relaxing atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and provide great views, contributing to a comfortable stay. The hotel has three restaurants, all serving good food with a nice mix of international and local cuisine. The breakfast was also excellent, with a wide variety of choices, although it could be a bit difficult to find a table when the hotel is full. The hotel’s location is another plus, as it is situated in a pleasant area with plenty of restaurants and shopping opportunities nearby. The evening entertainment, particularly the live music, was a great touch. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, which added to the overall positive experience.

While the hotel offers a wonderful experience overall, there were a few minor aspects to consider. One issue was the limited number of loungers by the pool, which made it sometimes difficult to find a spot to relax, especially with guests reserving loungers as early as 7:00 am. The lack of direct beach access was also a downside. While the hotel’s three restaurants were enjoyable, they had relatively similar menus, and we noticed price inconsistencies for the same dishes depending on which restaurant you were dining in. Additionally, while the hotel is very nice, it is starting to show its age in some areas. Nonetheless, these were minor inconveniences in what was otherwise a pleasant stay.

Facilities were amazing. Staff from arrival to departure…excellent. Breakfast was exceptional. Bar staff, very polite. Took time to have conversation (praised the opportunity they had to work in such a nice hotel). Most of all, it had everything you needed since there was no need to leave the hotel. Myself and my wife plan on coming back a couple of times a year…to relax as we did, an escape from our busy work life we both have. As I’ve been back and forth to Bali for surfing over the past 35yrs, have walked past both sides of the hotel the front and back. It was a pleasure and awesome experience to stay in such a beautiful resort. To all the staff from the gardeners, bar staff, hotel staff. From myself and my wife thankyou for welcoming us.
