i loved the rooms, felt like i could live there and the hot tubs on top were exceptional.

i wish all the rooms had a projector screen we were excited for that part but didn’t get one. the roof top bar was closed because of winter, and the view from the room was not great, had to look at the building next to us. also ABSOLUTELY NO free parking, which was kind of ridiculous considering the money paid.

Perfect place to stay in Denver, right at the top end of the RiNo art district, close to all that is amazing about RiNo - but also only a few minutes walk from 38th and Blake Station - and just one short train ride to Union Station (to take you into downtown) - just one stop - or going the other way to the airport. This is an incredibly cool hotel, with generous and welcoming communal areas including an amazing rooftop with bar and pool table, 24hr staff (always incredibly friendly and helpful), kitchen open across day / early evening then healthy tasty pre-made food in the fridge for purchase should you want it; tasty cooked breakfast for guests (changes daily); pet friendly - saw guests with their dogs; and the rooms are fantastic - loft style with area under the bed for clothes, generous bathroom / shower, and either a decent sized TV or video projector on to the blinds that are operated with the touch of a button; will definitely chose Cat Bird when I am back in Denver again - absolutely loved it.

Customer service was very friendly & attentive. Gabbi, Marcella, Juliet and Jas (Yaz), were awesome and welcoming. This hotel offers a great mix between a retro/vintage vibe with a splash of contemporary. If you appreciate history with a twist, ask to host or stay in their Victorian home, nestled next to their main entrance. It’s exposed brick to spiral staircase and more, await you.

The decor color in the weight room, I would change to more of bold colors versus soft colors. After all, no pain no gain…and the pastel like to neutral colors, didn’t do it for me. The free weights I appreciated!

This hotel is stunning, great room and layout. The foyer is stunning, fireplace, puzzle set up for those staying, big kitchen in the middle. The shower was wonderful, soft bed and art EVERYWHERE! The self check in didn't work, but someone was there to help me so that was lovely as it was about 9:30/10pm by the time I got in. A few staff members gave off the energy that they were "too cool" and didn't come across super friendly .. but that was only 1 or 2, everyone else was lovely.

We loved the design, location, hospitality and vibe of this cool but fabulously comfortable hotel. It's a two-minute walk from 38th&Blake, a transit station on the A train route from the airport into the city, so we were able to use public transport for our whole trip, and explore the local up and coming RiNO neighbourhood on foot. The Catbird room design is very clever and spacious - recessed lighting, a sophisticated level of tech controls, and built in furniture below the bed platform plus a couch and a fully stocked kitchenette. Very bespoke, a real USP. And an absolutely fabulous bathroom! The downstairs lounge is a great place to hang out - lots of different lounge spaces to choose from to sit and enjoy the complimentary breakfast or just hang out at any time of day. A rooftop hot tub with mountain views and a microbrewery with great pizza right across the street just complete the experience. Finally, the staff were brilliantly friendly and made us feel so at home. We researched several hotels and are really pleased we picked here and will stay here again on our next trip to Denver.

The building itself is beautiful, artful decor everywhere. The design of the room is so thoughtful and tickled my brain -- super efficient and functional, like a tiny home. Staff were very friendly. We enjoyed the rooftop hot tub. The complimentary breakfast was a nice hearty breakfast burrito. I would definitely stay again!

Nothing, it was an amazing stay! Oh, maybe the parking situation? There's plenty of residential parking nearby, but their on-site parking is quite expensive. Makes sense for the area though!

Very spacious rooms, cleverly designed, cosy and comfortable, very chic as well. Vanity mirror in the bathroom and manual for the dishwasher (I know) would be smth to add :) Other than that I had a very good time there. Personel, from front desk to housekeeping and maintenance are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Take note that this location, while in the hip RiNo district, is not close to downtown - however, Coors Field is a 20min walk away and there’s a train station right by the hotel that takes you Downtown or to the airport.

Nothing, really. Breakfast is not really what European guests are used to from European hotel breakfast buffets, but then again I definitely have to say, having travelled the US a lot, that this breakfast was better than anything I have ever seen there.

Well thought out layout and had everything I needed. The clothes steamer was a nice touch, way easier than an iron! The staff were consistently friendly and couldn’t be more helpful.

I stayed for 4 nights but didn’t get a visit from housekeeping which was a bit odd. The AC was irritating at first on the auto setting, coming on and off all night and was quite loud when it was on. Once I figured out I could put it on constant fan, it was much better.

We love CatBird more and more each time we come to Denver for a show or other event. There is every single amenity you can imagine, really. Parking was challenging the first time, and has been a piece of cake ever since. Add to all of this the quirky artistic vibe, and there's always undoubtedly a reason we keep coming back!

When we came most recently on a Sunday evening, we'd been accustomed to our Saturday night stays and having the option of dinner and drinks upstairs at their lovely rooftop. I was surprised to discover that the restaurant upstairs actually has very limited hours; understandable, but something to note if you're planning ahead!

It's a simple breakfast that's included but good for a light appetite. Choice of parfait, soaked oats, fruit cup or egg sandwich. My brother opted to go out elsewhere close by. We liked the rooftop seating area for enjoying beverages and snacks that we brought with us. There are lots of eating and drinking spots close by. Most seem to be beer, pizza and brew pub type fare. We enjoyed walking around admiring all the murals. Soda water dispensars!

$52 valet, $30 offsite, or free street parking that's a little unnerving. Early morning noisy traffic. The room layout is creative but a little awkward with closet under the bed, low cabinets and dismounting from the bed.
