The hotel is really well located just outside of touristic Cochem — close enough to walk there easily. The hotel has a lot of charm and has a great breakfast and a really nice honor bar. The views from the hotel are gorgeous!

My only complaint was that there was a lot of noise from the hallway and other rooms. The hotel allows children and pets, which I love. But it sounded like a daycare center/kindergarten at times. If you want a more serene stay, this may not be the ideal spot. But I loved the hotel. They even installed more sound-proof doors inside the original wooden doors to help with this issue.

We absolutely LOVED our stay! From the moment we arrived, checking in was a breeze, the directions were crystal clear, and all the instructions for parking and other details were incredibly helpful. When we stepped into our room, we were completely blown away! The design and setup were beyond our expectations. The lighting, the layout, everything felt so thoughtfully put together. Honestly, it’s the best hotel room we’ve ever stayed in. Spotless, stylish, and a perfect match for the location. It exceeded everything we’d seen in the advertisements and then some! The window view was absolutely breathtaking, and the architecture of the building was clearly designed with such care and attention to detail. My partner and I were so impressed, and we’re already planning our return. Huge thanks to the amazing hotel team.

A lovely hotel. Check-in was easy. The hotel is a mix of old and new, but it is stylish and modern.Large room with a clean and modern bathroom. Breakfast was excellent. Parking is free and immediately behind the hotel. A short 5 minute walk to get into Cochem, and it is nice to be a few minutes away from the bustle.

This charming small hotel truly impressed us with its exceptional qualities, especially the breathtaking views of the Mosel River and the majestic Reichsburg Cochem castle. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly polite and genuinely helpful, making us feel welcome and ensuring a smooth check-in. Their local recommendations for exploring Cochem and the surrounding area were also much appreciated!

All was great.

From the hotel it is an easy walk to the center of Cochem. We had an amazing view on the castle as well as the river. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was great, plenty of choice and all very tasty. There was also a honesty bar, which was perfect to have a drink after dinner.

The hotel is located next to a main road, which we could hear a bit in the morning (it was a weekday). Overall it didn't bother us and didn't keep us from having a great sleep.

We loved this hotel! It’s an old house with lots of character. Our room was huge with fantastic views of the river and castle. Plenty of parking. Easy 10 minute walk along riverside path to center of town. Breakfast was wonderful. The honor bar is the best… good selection of local wines to enjoy at a fair price while sitting on the terrace and enjoying the view.

No A/C but they do provide a fan in the room (not sure if any Cochem hotels have A/C?). Bathroom has a small shelf but lacks counter space.

The hotel was stunning and we selected a junior suite, which whilst nice and roomy with an excellent view due to the large windows in front and the back, was very hot and if you opened the front windows, became noisy as it was one a front road.

The blinds in the bedrooms had one or two missing panels and as such could not be fully closed, so if you walk around naked, the neighbours may enjoy the sights… this was mentioned to the staff on duty and we would hope is sorted before any further visitors

The serene setting across from the Moselle River. Our room was spacious & we had a beautiful view - in one direction, Cochem Castle & also towards the Moselle River & vineyards. This is an older hotel, without an elevator, but we were very pleased to have a room on the ground floor. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast buffet was always good. Another plus was the Wine Garden next door.

Nicely modernized old building on the Mosel, about a 5 min walk from the town center. Beautifully located with a lovely view of the river and the castle from our spacious, comfortable room. The staff was very friendly, professional, and helpful and provided an excellent breakfast buffet.

If you don't like lugging your luggage upstairs, make sure you ask for a room on the ground floor. The lighting in our bathroom was somewhat dark. The staff was aware of the problem and is seeking to remedy the situation.

We loved this place, it is a quaint little place right on the Mosel river with a great view of town and the castle up above on the hill. The architecture is beautiful as well, mixing an old brick building and a classic German house, with a new modern renovation where the kitchen is tying the old buildings together. It is very beautiful.

Parking is limited, I think we got the last parking spot in the lot. Not really something I didn't like but don't expect to drive more than one vehicle if you are driving here.
