We had a warm welcome from Leila and her husband who gave us info and recommendations for our 2-day visit. The reception was in their bar as was the fantastic breakfast, beautifully presented with fruit, yoghurt, granola, jam, bread, meats and cheeses. The accommodation is in a lovingly restored 800-year-old building just a 30-second walk away. It's very clean and furnished elegantly with enough space to sit and rest comfortably. There were no noise problems as it's on a quiet street but only 10 minutes walk ro the old town centre with a magnificent Dom and the famous stone bridge over the Danube. We would definitely recommend. Just a note to add is there is no elevator but the kind host took our suitcases up the stairs for us!
Nothing to not like!

The rooms were beautiful, elegantly decorated and cozy with a lot of character. Location was central and not too far away from the train station, and only 5 to 10 minutes walking to the city center where all the cute shops are located. Breakfast was exceptionally tasty, and the hostess was really warm and delightful. The warmth of the hostess really did make the stay better.
Not much I didn't like, maybe it was a tad cold but it was easy to remedy with extra blankets. The bed unfortunately did not suit my back but that's not unique to this hotel, I think my back is a bit particular.

When I arrived, I realised that I had received an upgrade! The rooms were really good sizes and tastefully decorated. The bathroom was a good size too and there was a little separate loo. It's a small hotel and I used the self-check in facility, which worked perfectly. The very friendy and accommodating owner/manageress had contacted me prior to my arrival and was always available per mobile phone for any questions that I had. The excellent, healthy breakfast was served just across the road in the very pleasant "Vincent". Great central location and I would definitely stay here again!
There is nothing about my stay that I could fault!

I’ve been traveling throughout Germany for a few weeks now and my stay at L’Ostello has been the best one so far. The owner, Leila, provides incredible personalized service to each of her guests. It was unexpected and really appreciated. She’s always available, ready to help and gives great advice on the best gems to visit in the area. The breakfast was especially outsanding, as well as the room.

Fantastic stay, easy walk from train station and in to the old town. The hosts are super helpful, informative, fun and friendly. Breakfast was a beautiful variety of breads, jams, meats, fruits and oats. Eggs are made to order. Leila accommodated my dietary restrictions so nicely. Couldn't ask for anything more in this amazing historic hotel.

Room very comfortable and atmospheric in old building. Breakfast plentiful and high quality with coffee made to your preference. Hosts friendly and attentive, even carried my suitcase and recommended a masseur as I’d hurt my back. Thank you. Short walk to train and all attractions of old city.

It is a small hotel and it feels more like home than a hotel. The reception is mostly done over email and text. Nice breakfast and the reception remember me by name.
If you are looking for a fancy hotel with gym, bar and restaurant 24/7, this is not the place.

The hotel is in an old building with six rooms in the old part of town. The room was bright, decent size, comfortable, clean and with a good bathroom. Mineral water was provided. All the key sights of Regensburg are within easy walking distance. Breakfast is really excellent. Served in the restaurant belonging to the owners just across the road with a good mix of fruit, muesli, yoghurt, jam, cheese and cut meats and very good German bread. The owners are super friendly.

This hotel met all the bars. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was served in the restaurant across the street and was very good. The location was perfect for walking everywhere in Regensburg and only a short walk from the train station. Highly recommended.
