Very modern, clean, comfortable, very nice decor, friendly and helpful staff. Cannot beat the location - minutes to many restaurants, the train station, Feierling Brauhaus and it's beautiful beer garden, minutes to the start of the trail up to the lookout. Very classy hotel. Very nice bathroom - loved the shower. Everything exactly as it appears in the photos. Worth every Euro.

The rooms on the back side face the heating and air conditioning units of all the other buildings in that block, but it's the price you pay for staying in the smallest and least expensive room in the hotel. The nice surprise was the balcony (4th floor) - nice touch!

It was absolutely perfect stay at Rathaus. The hotel is beautiful and comfortable by all means. Location right in the heart of city. Staff were very polite and friendly, especially a nice receptionist, who made sure to have a brief conversation with me every morning before breakfast. I felt very welcomed . Breakfast was super tasty. Room was big and clean. 10 points for extra comfortable bed and big screen TV. There was construction work going on right under my window but I didn't hear anything. Almost like living in completely sound proof room. Highly recommend this hotel .

This little gem was in a perfect location, right in the heart of this beautiful city. Staff were super friendly and attentive. We slept so well thanks to the comfortable bed and superb air conditioning. The breakfast was the best I’ve ever had in a hotel - from the delicious home-made baked beans, to the wonderful selection of meats and cheeses, fresh breads, pastries, yogurts and fruit. The hotel bar was beautiful and well priced. We had an amazing stay - thank you!

Every thing looked quite updated. Nicely cleaned. The staff at the breakfast was very helpful. Breakfast was very good.

It was a pity that the bathroom had no amenities. When trying to call the hotel about the parking no one picked up the phone so we had to park somewhere else. The parking at the hotel is also difficult to find and because the staff at the reception spoke poor English it was difficult to communicate.

The location was ideal. Very close to main tram stops, easy to navigate around the city. The breakfast was excellent, loads of choice and very high quality. The staff are wonderful, nothing is too much trouble.

The location was super. Just outside the old townhall (Rathaus). 5 minutes walk to the Cathedral (Münster) and to the shopping street. Lots of bakeries and restaurants. The hotel is very modern. Not so big, around 40 rooms. The breakfast buffé was good. Great wifi.

The bed was a little to high for me. No refrigerator in the room.

A good breakfast buffet, supervised by Vennie who was brilliant at making sure everyone had what they needed. Thne tables were cleared regularly and quickly, stock on the buffet was kept topped up and he always had a smile for everyone

One of the workers in the kitchen told us that breakfast was over pretty aggressively even though it was supposed to be open for 10 more minutes and we were just finishing our meal.

Great position in the city centre, lovely cheerful and helpful staff. Good breakfast buffet open until 11.00. We came by train and it’s an easy 10 minute walk from the station. We appreciated the 12.00 checkout and being able to store our luggage.

Really comfortable bed, beautiful decor, safe, clean and proper fancy light switches! Location ideal - Freiburg old town is just beautiful! Staff amazing and so helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and can’t wait to stay here again!
