Didn’t like the additional $200 I had to cough up upon arrival for a “holding fee”. I’ve checked out 2 days ago and it still hasn’t been returned to me. What if I didn’t have the $200 when I arrived, would I have been turned away from accommodation I’ve paid for? News flash, your a motel you don’t need a Bond from your guests, that what keeping a card on file is for.

I liked how accommodating the staff were, understanding of my particular situation whilst staying there. The cleanliness of the room, comfort, relaxed feeling I get whilst staying at Seabreeze draws me back whenever I'm needing to stay in town.

Not being able to make a take-away order from seabreeze restaurant whilst staying at one of the actual rooms at Seabreeze. Would have liked/preferred to place food order from room, and then head down to collect food order once ready instead of having to place order at the bar/restaurant area and wait there for it. I did have a pet back at the room.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Check-in and checkout was easy. It was also close to where my brother lives, which was nice and convenient. Everything was clean and we had the option of cooking for ourselves if we wanted to.

We had dinner in the restaurant. My husband had a chicken Parmi with pineapple. The chicken was nearly cold, and it had about half a ring of pineapple on it. I had a Caesar salad, and the poached egg was like it had been previously cooked and kept in the fridge. Then was put on the salad cold.

I really enjoyed our stay at Seabreeze, the staff were friendly, the location was perfect, close to the beach, the room was great also, the beds were comfortable, just what we wanted for me & my sons stay, it had everything we needed, & the food we ordered at the tavern was delicious, the steak cooked perfectly. Thankyou Seabreeze, I will definitely look to stay there again on our next visit back home to Mackay. 😁

Incredible value for money! You will be hard pressed to find a whole apartment for this price anywhere in Mackay! The room was well stocked with everything we needed. The hotel attached to the accommodation is a beautiful venue that offers fun activities and has a fantastic menu! The staff are all lovely, so personable, the location is to die for and we will definitely be back! The view from the dining area is lovely! Have recommended this place to everyone we know! Been to Mackay so many times and never spotted this little gem!

The gaming area's air con was broken but these things happen, other than that our stay was perfect!

the location was very nice across from beach and in a nice neighborhood it was good being adjacent to the hotel where you could buy meals and was comfortable and pet friendly

as apartments on ground floor were pet friendly would of been nice if back yard from these units had a fence separating units so dogs could be outside in the little courtyard

We did not buy breakfast as I brought my own breakfast food. We loved the location.

The bed was not the most comfortable but the pillows were good and when you opened up the doors and windows there was a beautiful cool breeze. The only trouble I had was with guests around our unit who were smoking. Because we slept with the windows open and the air-con off, I found that I kept waking up during the night to the smell of cigarette smoke. In the end I decided to close the window so I did not wake up to the smell of cigarette smoke. Music in under cover area was too loud.

Great location across from the beach. Also dog friendly. I was given a large ground floor apartment. Food in the restaurant was delicious and staff were friendly.

Property is a little shabby and needs repainting externally. Some light switches need replacing. Bed also a little worse for wear.

All staff, particularly reception and housekeeping were super friendly and caring. This is our 3rd stay and we find it a very comfortable, spacious stay that caters well for those travelling with their fur child.

I really think they need to conduct an audit of the furniture and kitchenette facilities. Out of 3 dining chairs, 2 were broken which could result in a serious injury. One appliance didn't work and the new kitchen pans were of extremely poor quality. One already previously used had a broken handle. A new pan we used warped and lost its coating on its first use. None of the above would prevent us of a future stay as staff, location and overall comfort are still exemplary.

We liked the fact the room was located on the ground floor. This was especially good after a long day travelling with a pet. The reception staff were friendly and professional. As the hotel is located next door, it was an easy choice for dinner, especially as there were strong winds that night. We liked the space in the apartment.

The curtain in the living room needs new hooks.
