Clement House. We have just returned from a fabulous holiday in Australia. We stayed in Benalla at Clement House in the garden room for two nights. What a great choice we made. The location is great, close to the centre, on-site parking and easy access to travel the area. The apartment itself was beautiful, quite spacious with a very well equipped kitchen area. The owner left so many "treats" it was so lovely. Fresh bread, butter, preserves, cereal. Just all so thoughtfully done. Immaculately clean. Comfy bed and lovely bathroom. We would thoroughly recommend itl.

Excellent accommodation. Secure, clean, full facilities including continental breakfast. Part of a lovely old home which has been tastefully furnished in traditional style. Very well located and owner was most pleasant and provided her mobile details should there be a need to contact her. I trust that future occupants travelling with a pet, similarly treat the accommodation with the respect it deserves.

Street parking which was of no concern in a good residential area and on a wide street.

We made a last minute booking on our way to Sydney after having car problems in Melbourne. Sue was welcoming and accommodating, making sure all was ready for our arrival. The included wine and food were excellent, generous and much appreciated after our stressful day. Linen and bathroom products were high quality and plentiful. The Northo provided an excellent dinner in a comfortable space. We love stopping in Benalla and wish we could have spent more time there.

The studio only has ventilation from the small bathroom window at night, so could get stuffy in summer. The ceiling fan and aircon help with this.

The self-contained studio bungalow was beautifully presented, clean and cosy with plenty of space, lovely linen, furnishings and fittings plus breakfast/meal provisions which were outstanding. The kitchenette was functional and very clean with nice crockery and utensils. The bed was super comfy and the area was very quiet with only bird calls to break the silence. Postion-wise it was very well located. If necessary was walking distance to the train station, main shopping centre and several hotels. Also quite close to Lake Benalla and all the associated activities at the Art Gallery and botanical gardens. Sue greeted me and was a pleasant and unobtrusive host. Highly recommended.

The studio @ Clement house was gorgeous, spotless, and the best location ( minutes walk from main street/coffee shops, and 2 pubs within walking distance). The provided breakfast was great, local bakery bread and even the wine and cheese provided was such a great touch. Sue was an amazing host, helping you know what was going on locally in Benalla. The studio fitted 2 x adults and 2x younger kids easily!!! Would def recommend this place to anyone staying in Benalla.

Beautiful residence within walking distance to the main street of town. The room was stylishly decorated, spacious, and had an extremely comfortable bed. There was a nice continental breakfast, we especially enjoyed the bread. The host was very welcoming and friendly. We would stay again.

The only one small issue was that there was no soap or body wash provided in the shower, but this was a minor inconvenience.

Great stay at Clement House. Lovely host, who was very discreet and not intrusive at all. Beautiful furnishings, generous breakfast and a stunning garden, made for a relaxing stay.

There is only street parking and you can’t see your car as there is a large fence and I would have liked a driveway or spot off the road. However, our car was not damaged and was still where we left it each morning.

Breakfast was simple but adequate. Decor was delightful and sophisticated. Would be wonderful in the warmer months with a lovely outdoor area that we did not utilise because of the cold. Amazing garden.

It took us a while to realise the sink for washing dishes was outside in the outdoor kitchen. Could have asked though.

Very clean and comfortable and the owner was friendly. Breakfast was nice, especially the local bread.

From the photo displayed in the advertisement, I thought I was booking a federation-style unit a part of an older building or beside it. It appears I misread the photo. However, it was a modern unit built at the back of a renovated federation-style home and other units. Access down a laneway to our unit was narrow and although we managed bigger vehicles may have an issue.

The property is absolutely stunning, pictures do not do it justice. Bed very comfy. The outdoor area was a big bonus and we enjoyed sitting out her in the morning for our breakfast. Breakfast was lovely bakery bread, with ample butter and different choice of spreads. Juice, yogurts and 2 types of cereal with milk were also included. Large tea selection and coffee (including pods).
