it has all necessary commodities you'd expect for a 4 star hotel, it's comfortable and has everything you might need to spend your trip.

It's not sound-proof, so you can hear people talk in the corridor and other noisy guests in their room

The hotel is quite nice and quiet (although on a main street)and the location was very convenient, very easy to access a bus or metro for most locations I wanted to visit. The breakfast buffet was quite decent, offering a variety of options. The staff was very polite and helpful,and were there to help me with taxis, information needed etc. I would definitely come back and I would recommend it to anyone, whether solo or family!

The only thing that disappointed me a little was that there wasn't a restaurant with local cuisine, just a bar with some international dishes (pizza, burger, etc). However a burger that I ordered on the first night was really good and the price was ok.

Reception staff were polite and helpful. Room was clean, comfortable and accommodating. Shower and bath nice and warm. Love the eco-friendly products such as comb and toothbrush. Pool was lovely. Breakfast was good.

There weren't enough sunbeds by the pool. Should be a shower inside the toilets by the pool. We had a very long wait for lunch one day and there seemed to be only one staff member on duty, she seemed overwhelmed. TV did not have any English channels. Would love tea and coffee plus kettle options in rooms.

The wide range of quality food offered for breakfast was just exceptional - so healthy and whole diet-supporting choices that included walnuts, fresh house-made natural joguhrts as well as other healthier options of food and fresh fruits like whole pieces of Kiwis. Elena, the manager of the restaurant (or the hotel's breakfast-team) made sure that every guest gets the quality food and very pleasant breakfast time. We really appreciated the detailed care and hospitality of the catering team. This hotel would satisfy needs of all kind of travellers.

Great location: just 5-minute walk to the subway and a bus station and a 7-minute 1-stop trip to the airport. Close to Marcadonna (local supermarket) just 8-minute walk. Amazing 10 out of 10 breakfast: everything you need is there (hot omelet with veggies and sausage; hamon, cheese and tortilla; toasts, croissants and pastry; fresh fruits; granola; fresh orange juice).

The room wasn't ideally clean: some dust on the floor in the bathroom when we arrived. Also, the furniture is outdated but the bed was comfy.

I was looking for a calm and quite week away from the city center. I found by chance Sercotel Alcalá and I have been very happy about the size of the room, the pool and the quality of the breakfast. The staff is always available and very nice. You can easily go to the city centre by the metro which is a few stones away.

Being Italian, the only thing I did not enjoy was the coffee but this won’t change my opinion on my stay!

Pilar on reception was very helpful and pleasant, beds very comfortable, pool and terrace area very spacious. There were places near for cheap non touristy meals and it is near the airport

Ridiculous that in a 4 star hotel there was NO bar and cafetería service during the day. I was informed that on weekdays there is NOTHING between breakfast time and 5pm. Such a pity, as the terrace area by the pool would be perfect if you could sit and relax with a cup of coffee or a drink. And signs up saying you cannot bring food and drink from outside the property As no coffee/tea making facilities in room, we couldn't make a drink to take down....

Really easy to find and a nice big car park underneath to leave the car in the cool. The staff were friendly and helpful and check in was really easy. The room was big with plenty of wardrobe space and a nice spacious bathroom. As with all Sercotels the standard is very high. Its nice to have shower gel and shampoo in the bottle in the shower. Good quality. Air con was great and worked perfectly.

Liked it all, nothing to say

The staff was super nice with us, we arrived earlier than the check in and they kept our baggage while we went to explore the city. The room was comfortable and the beds were super nice and fluffy. The bathroom was bigger than I thought and super clean, lots of light too. They had a mini bar in the room. The breakfast was delicious, lots of options and everything was fresh.

Really nice hotel, very close to the airport, but also 5 mins walk to a metro station that goes to the city centre - 30 mins ride. The hotel is super clean with good amenities. Also, the staff is very friendly and allowed us to get it before official check-in without any issue. I can only recommend it to anyone. I will be back, when again in Madrid.
