Staff were incredibly helpful. We actually got stuck in Sapa due to typhoon Yagi and the resulting landslides and flooding. They were so helpful with contacting bus companies and other operators to rearrange buses etc when we were finally given the okay to leave Sapa. Breakfast was plentiful, mix of hot and cold items and you can order eggs and pancakes from the menu free of charge. Location is just across the lake from the main area, only 5/10min walk but has lovely view of the hills. Can't recommend enough!

Rooms were on the small side but very clean. Showers sometimes ran out of hot water but were back to hot again within 5mins.

We had a truly amazing experience at this hotel. Everything was smooth and well-organized from the trekking trip and the Fansipan tour we booked through them, to the relaxing massage at a great price. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised with a free upgrade to a beautiful room with a view. And when we were checking out, they let us keep the room until 7 PM, even though we hadn’t asked—just because our bus was leaving late. The entire hotel was clean, the service was excellent, and the breakfast was really good. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. Thank you to Ling, Mr. Kim and the rest of the team for a great stay!

The room was really nice and clean, super well-located! Neighborhood is calm; perfect to rest after a busy day getting around Sapa. Breakfast was really wonderful (we considered ourselves as foodies; the quality went beyond our expectations. Perfect first meal of the day to go trekking. Please try their banana and pineapple pancakes. Their phô was divine too. We had all our breakfasts on the terrace with the sapa mountains as a background. Above all, the staff and the manager are truly kind and helpful. We were very happy to stay at Sapa Mountain Queen House and we most definitely recommend this hotel if you're looking somewhere to stay whilst travelling to Sapa. This is our first stop as travelling throughout Vietnam and we will keep fond memories here in Sapa.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised to receive a free upgrade for one of our rooms. Even more impressively, after we had already checked out, the hotel kindly offered us a room to refresh and change clothes after a long excursion, completely free of charge. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and the location is excellent, with some rooms offering beautiful views over the lake. Special thanks to the manager —I believe his name is Kim— who was especially kind and attentive. Highly recommended!

Near the center and just walking distance: 5 mins walk from the Sa Pa Lake then around 10 mins from the restaurants, may go straight around Sun Plaza. You will be welcomed by friendly staff esp the Hotel Manager/Owner Mr. Kim. He's super accomodating and kind! He recommended us a restaurant for our first meal in Sa Pa, you can ask him anything about your itinerary and he's willing to help. The breakfast was superb!!! So many choices even the drinks! We loved the french toast so much! We upgraded to a better room with lake view and no regrets!!! Best hotel room view! We'd definitely go back to this hotel once we visit Sa Pa again

This hotel is beautiful, and the room is very clean. I booked a family room with a view, which is absolutely stunning. The room is spacious, immaculate, and has a large balcony. The bed and pillows are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is wonderful; they offer a different menu every day. In addition to the items in the buffet, we can order freshly prepared dishes. We ordered pho, and it was delicious. My son chose an omelet, which he enjoyed as well. Besides Vietnamese cuisine, there are options for vegans, including bread, croissants, ham, and more. Fresh juices are made each day. The staff here is very friendly and helpful; they provide excellent advice to guests. (Take their recommendations! I made the mistake of planning to go to Can Cau Market, but started out late, hotel staff tried to stop me, but I didn't listen to them, and ended up losing 2 million VND without reaching the market bc they're closed.) The manager is kind and very accommodating; he suggested and booked our tour tickets for us and even allowed us to stay late until 2 PM at no extra charge. I'll be back!

Great location, only a few minutes walk downhill from Sapa Dragon Express bus stop, the lake, and restaurants. Breakfast is fabulous. In addition to the usual offerings of most hotels, Mountain Queen offers a number of savoury dishes, yoghurt, and pancakes, which are cooked upon request. All the staff were exceedingly helpful when I injured my knee. My husband had left very early on a lengthy hike, and as I had trouble walking, the delightful Mai-Linh arranged for one of the dining room staff to purchase anti-inflammatory cream from the pharmacy for me. They also kept me supplied with small bags of ice to pack against my knee. Our Standard Double Room was clean and of adequate size. However, the ensuite was long and narrow, and anyone around 180cm tall will find their knees cramped against the facing wall when seated on the toilet. Mountain Queen offers great value for money. It is very clean, and the cheery staff create a welcoming atmosphere. I would recommend booking a higher-level room.

They have the best service in town, the manager and the staffs are all very kind and helpful. When we arrived, they helped us to carry our luggage and gave us the warm ginger tea, very much warm our body in the cold weather. The lady at the reception very kindly briefed us about the hotel service and even offered to help us to book ticket to fansipan. The breakfast was delicious, they served fried rice, noodles, banana pancakes, a lot of tropical fruits, yogurts and so much more... the rooms were very spacious, clean and tidy, the bed is very comfy. they also provided free snacks for us. The people from this hotel are all very helpful and kind, every time when we needed assistance, they will do their best to help. Do not hesitate to book this hotel. Definitely worth the price.

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. Mr. Kim manages the place efficiently, ensuring a smooth experience for guests. The location is excellent, allowing me to walk to various landmarks, including Cat Cat, which was an amazing experience. The room was spacious and comfortable; however, some furniture could use refurbishment, as I noticed a few broken drawers. The staff was wonderful—very helpful and friendly, making my stay even more enjoyable.

One area for improvement is the laundry service. did not meet my expectations, especially compared to the quality I experienced in Hanoi. I was hoping for a similar standard. Overall, I had a good stay and appreciate the efforts of the team.

We really enjoyed our short stay at Sapa Mountain Queen House. The staff was super-kind and helpful, they let us check-in very early (7AM), which was really appreciated as our train arrived at 6AM from Hanoi. The also helped us book our tickets to Fansipan Mountain and provided maps, info and advice on our daily outings. The room was clean, bright and spacious, with nice view of the lake. Breakfast was amazing, made-to-order banana pancakes and/or eggs, with nice selection of pastries, fruits, and some Asian dishes. Location is convenient, steps away from the city center and the lake but still quiet.
