So the staff here are really nice, very helpful and gave good advice. The room itself is gorgeous and has a lovely view of the lake, and the location is also very good. The staff gave tips on where to go/what to see and even called up a motorbike driver for me for a (paid) tour, so that was all good.

It was just a small thing but to note they put me in the wrong room the first night (I specifically spoke with them and they said it was booked and all, and then when I showed up they said it wasn't free and put me in a different one) and yet still charged me for the original one. Also, there was a bit of confusion with the transport - to be fair though, they were helping me with that so can't complain too much and they really were very lovely and it all worked out well enough.

Hard to find, and locate. My biggest issue if when it's dark, the hotel has 0 lights on its building. I arrived 4:30 am as daily bus does. Couldn't find the hotel for 3 hours. To datk. Even other days after check in, if night, walk right past it. If the owner is penny pinching to save electricity of lighting up a sign, he is also making his hotel invisible or abandoned looking.

The family that owned the hotel was amazing! Super friendly and 2 lovely children. They were helpful and even shared some food with us over Tet! Free tea on an evening in the lobby. Dorms cleaned daily. Shower and toilet separate. Have a hair dryer. 100k for breakfast - pancakes and tea with fresh fruit. 5 min walk from the centre of Sa Pa. Comfy beds with curtains. Heating on in the rooms for most of the day so can warm up in the dorms. Owners always on hand to help. Washing for 40k per kilo.

The lobby and dinning area were quite chilly in winter!

The staff are really nice. Comfortable bed in dorm room with privacy. It's not far from the city center. The owner and their son's are very helpful when I need something. During my time, the dorm was almost empty, so I felt like it's a private room. You have. View of the lake.

It's tiring to walk up to the accommodation as it's located uphill. But it's a good exercise.

Lovely owner and host, very helpful with local info and arranged for me to join an amazing 2 day 1 night tour. Great tour guide, Vinh, as well! Highly recommend staying here and going on this trek to remote and authentic regions north of Sapa. Also got laundry done in the same day, so fast!

A couple guests were coughing and making noise all night, they should know better and get a private room. Not hostel’s fault

The staff was super kind! The manager even lent my husband a coat to go up to Fansipan!! We had a day of bad weather and stayed in bed all day overlooking the lake and mountains. Breakfast each morning was fresh fruit and crepes.

Only thing that we were missing was a fridge, but it was so cold outside that we set a few beers and sodas out on the balcony to stay cold lol

What an amazing family running this hostel, they speak multiple languages and are very friendly and helpful. I also absolutely fell in love with the cutest kids in Vietnam and I miss them already! The hostel offers tours, motorbikes, buses, and more, and the dorms are spacious, cozy, and comfortable. If you’re lucky enough to have a chance to stay here, don’t hesitate for a second!

Very nice owner, he helped us with everything. Showed us two rooms to choose from - we chose the one downstairs as it was more quiet and away from other guests (the hotel was full as it was the National holiday). We had a nice view to the lake. The location is more in a quiet area on a little hill, but there are steps going right to the center of Sapa. The room was clean. Basic but good breakfast.

If you stay in the room downstairs it takes a while for hot water to get to the room from the roof - but that was not a problem once the owner explained that we had to wait.

The host and his family was amazing. I had breakfast at their hotel and it was amazing. It was probbaly their local cuisine which they have regularly and it was very good. The owner helped me a lot to plan my days in Sa Pa, I also went on a two day trek offered by them and it was amazing.

I had only one problem with the washroom in the dorm, which I reported to the owner during checkout and I hope it would be addressed.

The staff is very kind and approachable.. I like the size of the room and specially the view you can see the lake and mountain..

I visit last december and its really cold one thing i dont like is the water heater. every night the heater is off and it back in 8 of the morning so we waited 8am to take a bath coz its really cold.
