This hotel was fantastic, I was provided with plenty of information prior to arrival, staff very very polite and helpful, the food and service was great, lots of facilities like luggage storage, the rooms were lovely comfortable and spacious, the rooftop bar was amazing and we liked the cool features like the carousel and slide in the hotel
We were asked to choose a specific time for breakfast which we expected it to be quieter with staggered seating, it was total carnage, free for all to even find a table, there was children running around like it’s a playground than a restaurant, children were not being supervised by parents or staff so they were running around and even knocked my girlfriends food out of her hand, several dishes were dropped and smashed on the floor, it was utter mayhem

The place was magical. From the moment you enter into the lobby and up the lift it is Alice in Wonderland type of place. Then there is a slide down from the second floor (who needs the stairs?). There is gentle but positively epic music theme playing in the background so that every time you are in the corridor it's like you are on cusp of great adventure (Pirates of Caribbean or Jurassic Park come to mind). The room is comfortable with a good powerful shower and a spacious bathroom and kids have their bunk bed. There is a kettle but bring your tea unless you are fond of Earl Gray. Good size fridge helps to keep the drinks cool. Don't miss out on the 8th floor bar. Breakfast was an event for the kids - pancakes drowned in smarties and nutella were top of the list, but occasionally other items were consumed like veg chocolate cake - the only complaint was "too chocolatey..." - First World Problem if I ever heard of one! Of course there is also the location - right next to the Lisberg Park - The Rollercoaster Eldorado ( you can get tickets in the lobby) and five minutes away from the World of Volvo - more sedate but fun place (for kids too! tickets online). Check opening times for Lisberg!!! It's FUN. Short walk away (need GPS) is Olstugan Tullen - a great mellow pub - superb for some Swedish meatballs for dinner and a few drinks. Highly recommended. Outside the hotel there is tram stop (No 4 and No 2) - allowing access to the entire Gothenburg (don't need to rent a car). From the Airport the hotel is near the first stop of the Grey Bus (Flygbussarna). Get a Vasttrafik App into your phone. If you have any spare time (like a whole day) and the weather is good head out to the Islands for a long walk. Alternatively (for half a day) walk with the kids in the Slottsskogen Park. Enjoy.

I liked the play room, the cinema, and the carousel. I also enjoyed the atmosphere and the attention to detail, with lots of things to look at.
We didn't see the point of having the slide open until 8pm. It was really noisy in outside our room with lots of hyperactive kids outside running around, knocking on our door and forming a queue that it was sometimes impossible to get through. We had our room in second floor and we couldn't put our 3-year old to sleep. We had to change rooms because of that. I would close the slide at 6 pm, latest. I also noticed lots of kids running in the stone stair to get to the slide, and they sometimes fell and hurt themselves - that stair would have benefitted from a carpet, at least. The beds were very hard.

Very child and family friendly hotel with several activities for the children like a cinema, a slide in the lobby and a large carousel in the dining area. Very short distance to Liseberg amusement park and Universeum science museum. Note that the amusement park is usually open until late at night (22:00 CEST), but we were not bothered by any loud noises even though our room was facing the park with a short distance to one of the rides.
There could have been a larger selection of allergy friendly foods, both for breakfast and dinner, but it was ok.

Everything! Firstly, the pre-check in process was great. Doing some of it in advance meant that we could arrive and be in our room in no time. The room was wonderful, plenty of space for 3 of us, comfortable, warm and cosy. The bathroom was clean, modern, spacious... Now our favourite thing; breakfast! It was very busy during our stay and there were SO many options that the first morning felt a little overwhelming, but after a day or so we honed our breakfast routine to a T. The food was incredible, so many veggie and even vegan options, sweet savoury, anything you could want! The scrambled eggs were insane, we've been trying to recreate them at home and failed every time! I did have to rush to get my English Breakfast tea before everyone else, so maybe stocking more of those would be a good idea. The hotel could not be easier to find. Due to the park, it has its own tram stop which is right in front of the building and two different tram lines stop there to take you into the city, which is only a couple of minutes away. The airport bus stops only one stop away too, which is really helpful. There's also a small co op opposite the hotel. Up the road is the Universeum which is definitely worth a few hours' exploration! The rooftop bar and Chinese restaurant were also amazing! Such great ambience, and the waiters were so happy to talk us through each dish and recommended changes to our orders. The decor was also beautiful. The cafe on the ground floor was amazing too. Perfect to stop and relax in after a day out in the city. The cakes were lovely as was the coffee. Such cosy and comfy sofas to relax on too. Plus there's a handy, safe place to leave your luggage on the last day after checkout if you have a late flight and still want to enjoy a day in the city, as we did. You can just tell that this hotel knows what it's doing. Every moment there was organised, clear, and enjoyable.
We liked everything!

The hotel is absolutely fantastic, I would recommend it. One of the best experiences we had in a long time. The room are spacious, very well thought out for families, and very silent. The personnel is very friendly and helpful, the food is good. On top of that, the hotel is fully decorated and full of small surprises and details that will make adults and kids happy alike. All the more outstanding if you consider that it is a very large hotel with a large amount of rooms (and guests). The price of the hotel is very good, but they recoup it on food, bars, etc., but you can clearly see where the money goes (enough staffing, amazing decorations, keeping the hotel well maintained, etc.) so it's all very worth it and you're happy to spend it. Still, it's not excessively expensive and I think it's a very good price/quality ratio. Highly recommended

third time at the hotel (which is slowly becoming a home from home!) all boxes ticked from superb breakfast to friendly and helpful staff who just seem actually happy to be there and accommodate any questions you would have. Rooms are just so highly decorated and unique due to decor and comfort. If you have children under 15 (or young spirited adults) this is the only hotel that you should stay at while visiting Göteborg.
Usually can not complain at all but.. this time our room was not really done to a standard I would expect. (a few towels missing as well as tea bags and coffee), also found remnants of previous guests under the cabinet that houses the fridge and safe (a pacifier and a full packet of ginger cookies)

The room with 2 kids' bunks beds, which were situated a bit further from our master bed, was very good for everyone's comfort and privacy. And as well the view straight to the parks attractions just made us all 4 to look so forward to going to the park. We totally loved the playrooms, cinema and the carousel inside the hotel! The staff was lovely - especially when my husband hurt his leg (unlucky accident while walking in the hall) we were given all the needed help (icepacks etc), support and information about medical help (which we luckily did not need to use at the end), offered late checkout and best smiles of the staff so the accident did not ruin our overall mood - thank you so so much! And special thanks for the restaurant on the 8th floor - the staff (especially the hostess) was super helpful and took care of our needs just right after that little leg accident happened to my husband. Usually the staff is just stangers to you, but when in need those strangers can become the life savers - thank you so much!
We missed some easy soup at dinner time, but it's only becsuse our little daughter is the soup lover and has special needs and only wanted to eat soup. And car parking place was a bit futher to walk to than other hotels offer (but that's also because we had special needs (both because our daughter and because my husband hurt his leg and couldn't walk so freely)).

This hotel is super fun, we regretted not finding the quiet area for breakfast until we were checking out, a basket at the bottom of the stairs for children to put their shoes in would be a consideration as it was a mega trip hazard trying to navigate the stairs due to the slide being on floor 2, if you struggle with hundreds of hyper small children around your feet then this hotel probably isn't for you but it's the most quirkiest and fabulous hotel we have ever stayed in. The location for the theme park / Christmas Market was fabulous. The carousel in the dining area is fabulous, as is the cafe in reception. Our room was wonderful, wardrobes are not needed, we lived out of our suitcases and managed fine. We would definitely recommend this hotel.
The cleanliness could be improved due to the amount of children, there was popcorn always up the stairs and a napkin that was on the floor at breakfast was still there in the evening. The lifts are very slow. Breakfast was average but we are not huge breakfast eaters. Check in was a nightmare, I think we just arrived at a very busy time but guests were queuing out the door! It took around 40 minutes to reach reception, but the staff were lovely.

The food was great, with everything you could imagine. The quality of the food was very high and the service was nice. So friendly staff! The facilities for children and families were perfect and the beds where very comfortable.
Very busy restaurant and inconvenient that we had to book at timeslot for the breakfast. We were not able to book a table more that one evening in the restaurant as is was fully booked. The games room was closed a lot of the time due to conferences. Perhaps a different location for the games room would be better rather than closing an entire area down to accommodate as few people attending a conference. There where ALOT of kids running around the lobby that wanted to access the games/play room
