The place and the staff were extremely lovely. Despite a language barrier (as I do not speak a lot of Spanish) they were patient and extremely helpful. Everything I had in the room was in great working order and nothing felt like it was broken, dirty or anything like that. The aircon in the room was amazing for someone from England who is not used to hot weather. And the view from the balcony of a nice forest was great to see.

The 2 issues I had with the room were quite small ones. First was that the shower felt a little bit badly designed. Due to the fact that it was an open back, the bathroom would get quite wet if you used the overhead shower. The 2nd was that the only storage space was in the bathroom. A minor nitpick I know. But it was just a small thing that confused me at first.

Room and location

The arrival. Everything is self served. You need a pin for the gat and for the door. However this information is not send to you before arrival. So you have to make a call to get the information. I am from the Netherland and did not pay for a SIM card from Puerto Rice, so I had to maken international phone cost.

I stayed twice in October. The staff was great, and I really appreciated the cleanliness of the rooms, the pool and outside area. On my second stay my door code did not work, I called the number not expecting to be assisted so quickly. I was in my room within 5 minutes- excellent customer service!

I'm not sure if the showers will eventually be enclosed and it wasn't a huge issue but since the showers are not enclosed, it was difficult to shower without getting a lot of water on the bathroom floor or the floor towel getting completely soaked as I could not redirect the shower head to prevent this especially in my first room upstairs. Regardless, I plan on booking my stay there on my next trip to Puerto Rico in 2024!

what breakfast? There was no breakfast. It was interesting that there was no office to check into, but a code for the gate and the doors. IT is basically a concrete bunker, but surprisingly comfy and we had a balcony to sit on. The pool and hot tub were great!. The cleaning staff were very friendly. The location was very good for beach and food. The outdoor kitchen was lovely. All in all it was good.

The people having sex loudly next door- we had a door that lead to other unit. But it was their vacation as well, so I cant fault them for the noise.

Viento Beach Lodge is a great place to spend a few nights with friends and family. The rooms are spacious very well decorated, though some people may think it is unfinished, it is finished, it’s a modernist “unfinished” style. Some of the 2nd floor rooms have a balcony and the 1sr floor have private jacuzzi’s. The pool was excelente, the pool area is super cozy, comfortable and well equipped. The employees are super host. We purchase food from a close by restaurant using Uber eats app as there are several great restaurants nearby or you are free to bring good meats and others stuff and do your cooking at the gazebo, as there is a BBQ, pots. There is a cooler and an ice maker, so we had a few ice cold beers, wine and champagne. Oh! The beach is close. Simply, this place is highly recommended.

Cleanliness of room was great. Loved the shower and jacuzzi off the room. Our first room had a clogged toilet and hotel upgraded us as maintenance couldn’t make it until next day. Very pleased with the service and attentiveness of staff. The pool was gorgeous and outside sitting was beautiful and comfortable. So close to the beach and restaurants too.

Clean, good safe parking, good value

Not clear on how to enter the property. Had to finally call host to get codes to enter parking gate, and then 3 more different codes to enter each floor and then the room. Too complicated, must have security issues. Also no hot water for shower, better to bath in the pool which is nice.

Leslie and Angel are wonderful, helpful and always make my stay enjoyable! The location is quiet, safe, clean, and everything is close by!

The staff is very friendly. They went above and beyond to make an earlier check-in possible for me to store my luggage while going out. We had no problems communicating, we used deepl to translate instantly. My room was on the ground floor and the door to the terrace was lockable. Great hotel for a stay in Dorado!

Liked the location very much, in a cul de sac, very secure with gate to property and codes to gate and room's door. It was so nice to find drinking water in the room. And there was a small fridge. Loved the terrace off the room, where we enjoyed our breakfast and relaxed in the hammock.

The shower head is definitely not eco-friendly, you have to let water run for a long time before it gets warm. The pillows could be a little softer. We were hoping to watch local TV channels, but that was not a choice.
