Pros: Excellent location and property. Love the rooftop area and pool. Rooms were spacious, bed and pillows were very comfortable, and towels actually dry well without leaving lint on you. They upgraded their bath products.

Cons: The water seeps out from under the shower's glass door into the rest of the bathroom. Some staff members were less than friendly, though most were welcoming and attentive. The gym had no A/C. Toilet paper could be a better quality (though I'm guessing it's not due to risk of clogging because of the old pipes in Old San Juan).

i thought they could have done something for our honeymoon as a perk to make it special but it was nothing. also it said on booking.com that parking was included and $28 breakfast was included. but when we asked there was no parking and we had to hike to bring our stuff from a parking garage and then breakfast was not included and that was a price estimate but it would probably cost more to get breakfast - i think this is honestly the fault of the third party booking rather than the hotel but it was a bummer to have to spend another $50 on top of it when we didn’t expect it

Beautiful location - outdoor/indoor. Amazing view of cathedral. Perfect location near square. Very comfortable room. Great rooftop bar and main floor outdoor restaurant. Attentive staff- especially Andrea, guest manager; and helpful Alejandro. Friendly bar staff on rooftop.

Pool area not great. Courtyard was beautiful but needed some love, felt wasted space- could use a bar or better seating. Need a kettle in the room (they got one for us, looked brand new! Points for going the extra distance).

Location was absolutely perfect, the hotel is pretty, room super clean, sofa bed was comfortable and the hair conditioner was a good one. Also they have free rose from 5 to 5:30pm, room and front desk staff was very friendly and proactive.

Would be nice to have the option to have more light in the room, we run out of body wash so it would be nice if they check that every day. We were 5 but they didn’t treat the room accordingly (we had to order 3 more cups of coffee, pots, towels , everything for the sofa bed etc). If you know we are 5 , everything should be ready. But this is a minor thing that they can easily solve… and they brought us everything we ordered.

The hotel was perfectly located in Old San Juan within walking distance to shopping, food, and historical sights. Parking in Old San Juan is a challenge, and we had to walk a couple of blocks with our luggage when arriving and departing. There wasn't a clear area to stop and drop off. So pack light. Also, be prepared to hear all the excitement of the streets from your room, especially on the weekend nights. The facility itself was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Just keep in mind that you are on island time and allow yourself to slow down while here. The rooftop pool is quaint and perfect for a quick dip after a hot day. Especially liked the convince of a bar for food and drink right beside it. The food is brought up from the restaurant downstairs, so be prepared to wait. But you can enjoy the cozy poolside area while you do.

Services take longer than you anticipate, but that is true for everywhere we visited on the island. We just adjusted our expectations to relax mode. The location isn't completely secure, with an open courtyard that can be accessed immediately from the street, so be sure to lock your doors.

Excellent location , located next to a small placita. So easy to walk to all areas. Pool area was pretty and staff was excellent . Front desk staff always friendly. Loved the coconut icee at the desk. Super clean and spacious hotel.

The king room on 1st floor we were in, the wood shutter makes the room dark. Wish you had more ligh or they could adjust. The rooms were big and pretty though . Bathroom very roomy. They need more hangers in wardrobe cabinet to start with.

I loved the aesthetics and vibe. Also free charcuteries, wine and Rose as well as free champagne at certain parts of the day. The location is unbeatable in the middle of Old San Juan.

We kept having to ask for toilet paper. Also when they cleaned the room they kept taking the toilet paper that was left. The first visit to the restaurant ( Consular) was ok, service was slow and our food came out separately. The second visit the service was much better. Both times the food was great.

The front desk staff and management are exceptionally helpful and attentive. All requests were handled efficiently, email questions were answered completely and we felt very well attended. The location is excellent for walking around Old San Juan. There is a great spot for outdoor corner cafe for coffee and pastries close by. The city works diligently to keep the streets spotlessly clean and safe. There are street sweepers working night and day to sweep up any fallen leaves and more than adequate security/police patrolling the area. There is an abundance of beautiful architecture within walking distance of the hotel.

Amazing place with very comfortable bed. Location is awesome. We had drinks several times on the rooftop bar. Unfortunately did not get a chance to dip in their rooftop pool but it looked nice. Staff was awesome too. We accidentally left our AirPods in the safe and we called the front desk. Carlos answered and was able to find our headphones and placed it in their storage for us to pick it up several days later.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The aesthetics were inviting, appealing, and very clean. We enjoyed many of the spaces. We loved the beautiful water features and plants. Having bottled water available was very helpful. The rooftop pool area made a lovely place to cool off after a hot day around the town. The Internet worked great. The shower was luxurious. The beds and linens were very comfortable. Having robes and slippers was a useful plus.

We heard a lot of noise. Neighbors stayed up VERY late having a party. At 3 am they were still going strong. Night two there was a rooftop party, directly above us, which also kept us up. I do wish the balcony opened but that wasn't a show-stopper.
