This boutique hotel has so much charm and character. Go up to the terrance and look out over the city. The room is very spacious and the high ceilings and tiled floors are magnificent. The bathroom was completely updated. We had a King Deluxe room, and the bed was huge. The staff was very nice. The continental breakfast was delicious.

It was advertised as "fully equipped kitchen". There was a refrigerator, No microwave. There was a champagne glass and a drinking class. One of each, not enough. No utensils. Definitely noting to cook with. There was no in-room coffee maker. The entryway wasn't air-conditioned and it can get hot. The AC was set at 22C which was fine but being required to call the front desk to change the temperature isn't workable.

This hotel offers a prime location in the heart of the old town, housed in a stunning colonial building that beautifully blends historic charm with modern amenities. The sanitary facilities and sleeping arrangements are well-updated, ensuring a comfortable stay. The highlight is undoubtedly the infinity pool, which provides breathtaking views over the city.

However, a faint moldy smell throughout the property detracts slightly from the overall experience, though it doesn’t overshadow the many positives. There was no complimentary coffee offered.

We were given a room that was small and dingy. I looked at my reservation and found we had reserved an entirely different more expensive room then we have were given. I went returned to where we checked in and spoke to someone at the desk and showed them my reservation. The person checked my reservation and gave us the room I had reserved. This was the 2nd time this had happened to us during this trip. I realize everyone should check their reservation to make sure they are given the room they booked.

The building with its decor, wooden doors, and plantation shutters were special. The terrace on the roof with the pool was very special, and we had it to ourselves midday so that was nice. The location was great for walking to many sightseeing spots in Old San Juan. Staff we met were friendly. It was very quiet when we were there.

Bathroom could use towel hooks, tissues, and 4 towels for 2 people vs. 2 (but when we asked for more towels it wasn't a problem). The elevator was a pretty slow, but there are stairs, steep stairs.

Location is phenomenal—street is quiet but close to sites/restaurants/shops. Staff friendly & responsive. GREAT coffee and breakfast. Rooftop terrace has great views and is comfy. Rainforest shower was a bonus.

Wood swelling in the door made it hard to close properly. Like much of Old San Juan the property is a little worn but it is cared for so thoughtfully and with hospitality that makes up for that. This property is a gem if you want to experience a stay in old San Juan in a former house in a more residential area.

No parking and all public garages put out signs that say full, even when they aren’t, Breakfast was expensive, shower took 30 minutes to get warm, upon checking in, we had spent two hours trying to find parking after being up for 30 hours traveling, and I really needed a restroom. It was too early to check in but I asked if there was a lobby restroom and they directed me to a restaurant down the street…. Later we noticed there were TWO restrooms off the lobby. So that was annoying.

Wonderful boutique hotel right in the middle of old San Juan - walking distance to everywhere we wanted to be. We were in the 2 bedroom suite with full kitchen, high ceilings, 2 bathrooms - felt like we were staying in an old Spanish hacienda. Staff very friendly. Excellent cafe con leche available (for purchase) in the monrings. Breakfast also - we are not big breakfast eaters but it looked good. We felt very lucky to have found this gem.

Could use another couple of chairs in the living room area - there is only one couch. Would be a problem if you had 4 or more people. Light on silverware. Dishwasher did not work. But compared to the positives, these were minor inconveniences.

Everything the staff was amazing! The owner helped me booking my stay accurately for my early arrival time and was very friendly over the phone and at check-in. The room was huge plenty of space and air conditioned throughout so cold we even had to turn it down or off! The wifi worked amazingly and I was able to work from there. The Cafe downstairs was very cute we did not utilize the pool but it was open as the bar downstairs.the historic decor was beautiful within walking distance to everything in old san juan even with a 5yr old

Nothing.... place was perfect!

We had two rooms. One had a lovely King sized four poster bed and a nice couch with great air conditioning. The hotel is historic and we enjoyed the authentic historical look and feel.

The other room we had was in a unique location on the other side of the hotel. It wasn't bad, just a little confusing and not what we expected. Part of the layout was open to the elements, which could have been fun if it wasn't raining so much of the time we were there, and there was little protection from mosquitos.

Good location

Room need some improvement. Bed mattress need to be changed, is old and make you feel like in a deep hole.., Bathroom need repairs, poor lighting, ceiling lights were not working and the bathroom mirror is rotten and full of black spots . Hot water rake too much time to get to the shower… iNTERNET … almost none , too slow and in our room it work some times, most time was slow, or none, plus TV was basically one channel…..
