Where to start,…. The location is fabulous. Walking distance to anything in OSJ. The room was lovely, very clean, and we chose the room with a connected patio. That was wonderful in the evening to just sit for a bit before retiring. The staff are AMAZING. They answered all our questions, offered suggestions and did it with the utmost of kindness. Really enjoyed our stay.

This is not an issue with the property, just a suggestion; you dont need a car in OSJ. Having one, as we did, was troublesome to park. If you plan on staying in OSJ and then driving around, either rent it when you leave or plan to park outside OSJ and taxi to and from it. OSJ is small and parking is for those who live or work there. Lots do exist but they fill up fast.

I really loved the staff. Checking in and out was easy. I was able to leave my luggage on the property after check out so I could roam around. I was solo traveling and I felt very safe in the area. There's a lot of restaurants and bars in the area. The staff gave me a list of recommendations and from the list also mentioned their personal favorites. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel and would recommend it to all my friends and family traveling to PR.

The location is in the heart of Old San Juan, walk to everything. Stayed in the Merlot room. Was spacious and the balcony was wonderful. AC kept the room cool. Shower was huge, abundant hot water. Hotel was clean and had a great courtyard.

you are close to nightlife so there will be noise from the street. Didn't bother us and ended around 11pm. The coffee machine in the lobby kept breaking and many places didn't open early for us to get any. The rooftop restaurant menu didn't excite us. Better food elsewhere.

The location was perfect to visit Old San Juan. The employees were the best part of the stay. Angel, Noemi, Pedro, and Manuel made our trip peaceful and pleasant. Nothing but good things to say and location and staff.

Though not their fault, we lost electricity for a few hours in the city. I wish they had la generator due to the outside temperature. Not the fault of the hotel!

I love this hotel. The location is perfect and the accommodations are exceptional. The staff are all super accommodating and the rooms are extremely comfortable. Its an old building so the outside noise can be hard in the room, but that happens everywhere in old san juan. I will definitely be coming back!

The only thing I can think of is the parking situation. The parking on the street is very limited and the garages are not that close. There's a parking space in front but it was all booked during my stay.

The location was amazing, in the heart of the old town. Everything was super clean. The size of the room was good. The staff was helpful with letting us leave our luggage after check out.

It was very noisy during the night because of the hotel bar that was open. The room didn’t offer a fridge, which was not very useful. Everything else was great.

Location was perfect for walking all of Old San Juan. The rooftop bar/restaurant was fabulous, both drinks and food. The hotel staff and bar staff were friendly and professional. All spaces were immaculate.

Our room had no windows. On a future stay, we will pick a room with a balcony.

We booked a room for two adults and a kid and the room was huge. Lovely king size bed and a pull-out couch. The location is so perfect to walk around the old town and the staff was friendly and helpful. We peeked at the rooftop bar and it was hopping but we couldn’t hear it from our room.

On a Saturday night, the noise from groups in the street was very loud but this was not too surprising.

Staff were friendly and attentive to any questions or concerns we raised. Location was perfect for navigating the city on foot.

Not totally within the Decanter's control but we said that the room did not meet our expectation for a quiet space because it faced the Main Street where frequent late night bar patrons congregated after closing. We did not realize it was Spring Break which speaks for itself in terms of late nite noise.

The staff is amazing. Everyone was incredibly nice and seemed to really care that we had a nice stay. They set up our cab to our next destination and gave us recommendations for places to eat. We also loved the location. You can walk to anything you need within ten minutes or less. And we enjoyed sitting on our balcony and people watching.

The room was very dark. The lights were so dim, you might as well have left them off. Street noise was also really loud at night. The hotel is near a lot of bars and restaurants and nightlife. People who need it completely quiet to sleep will either need to bring earplugs or stay elsewhere.
