It's right on the beach! There's a bar and restaurant at the location. Somebody previously complained about parking but there is extra parking right across the street. There's another beach across the street which is not as clean but is right there. We had the beach mostly to ourselves. It was mostly quiet and it wasn't in the middle of San Juan.

The restaurants in the neighborhood around the hotel were not open during the week. We were looking for options. The hotel bar and restaurant was open during the week which was great and we were thankful for.

The most fantastic position, directly on a delightful beach. The staff were amazing - friendly and welcoming. Nice on-site restaurant and bar. For us, coming from England, it was an authentic taste of Puerto Rican culture, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Rooms were OK, nothing too flashy, but clean and functional.

A few more ‘frills’ with the rooms would elevate the experience for very little outlay. More/better toiletries, bottled water, and provision of a hair drier - we would have gladly paid a few dollars more for.

The views were amazing. Friendly staff. The food at their restaurant was excellent, and we loved the live music. If we ever go to San Juan Puerto Rico again, we will book our nights here. I can't recommend this place enough. Stay here, enjoy the views, the beach, the restaurant, and the atmosphere. You simply can not go wrong staying here. Thank you to the hotel staff for being so friendly amd nice.

With the beach right there and all the sand, it would have been nice to have a broom and dustpan in the room or an outside shower to rinse off excess sand near the entrance to the beach. I felt bad leaving sand for the cleaner to pick up.

Property is on the beach which makes it an excellent location. The small family owned feel was evident and you can tell they truly care about the people who stay here.

Overall it was really nice. Coming into the property had me a little concerned because the beautification of the buildings and homes entering the area was a little concerning- but after speaking with the owners I learned a lot of the properties are all damaged from when the hurricane hit.

I was a little nervous on the way to the hotel because some reviews were not great. But we were really pleasantly surprised. It was super clean and comfortable and there was plenty of room for 3 adults and 2 teens. It's actually a beautiful setting. We were staying here for our final night in PR, and planned to spend our last day touring around Old San Juan. This ended up being a fantastic location for that, as we were able to drive 15 minutes to the ferry, leave the car there, ferry over and back, and then head to the airport. This was much less stressful than trying to drive into Old San Juan. And the ferry was a whopping 50 cents per person each way. We would definitely stay again and utilize the ferry. We sat out in the common area and played cards and listened to a lively party next door. Beautiful view of the fort in Old San Juan in the distance. I was glad that I had the warning that there was not much food nearby. We ate before we headed out towards the hotel, but if we hadn't done that, I think we still would have been able to find food near the ferry in Catano. The directions took us to the wrong place when I put the address into the map. But when I entered the name of the hotel into Waze, it took us right there.

The air conditioner was either on or off - you could not adjust the temperature. So we were all cold a lot of the night until I got up and just turned it off.

This is not your typical resort where non-locals will feel totally comfortable, but if you bypass the fact that to get there, it looks like you’re going to a neighborhood hotel. The ambience is very familiar and people are very warm and willing to make everything they can to make you comfortable We enjoyed live music and entertainment in the restaurant mostly locals attended, but it was amazing. They were very friendly and we had a blast.

Location is superb They are expanding the restaurant so we experienced to be in the middle of it, but did not affect. The personnel and owner are the best, very customer service oriented

Perhaps the fact of not enough towels, . You have a coffee machine but no cups, or no advise to bring our own to brew coffee or tea, and they don't have breakfast or coffee machine at the office, nor water fountain

The location, a real water front ! The fact that it feels like a private beach, it was clean, the views, priceless The tropical charm was amazing

Only two towels were provided, coffee machine but nothing else. Very, very, very simple. I understand they are remodeling, adding more to the restaurant, but rooms need more attention

I really liked the place, since although it is not in San Juan, it is located close to everything. The facilities are relatively new and very clean.

The only complaint is that during the weekend we wanted to rest, but they were using a pressure machine that made a lot of noise.

Robert and Elana are the ultimate Hosts, they made us feel like family, and we enjoyed the quiet beach ,very relaxing. Beautiful views from the upstairs Restraunt.

Only because I've stopped traveling with a hair dryer,it would have been nice to have one in the room
