Great location. Very comfortable clean bed. Really friendly helpful staff at reception. Decent size room.

Bathroom could have been cleaned better. Outside of handbasin not cleaned. Shelving unit under basin, while a great addition to the bathroom was not cleaned. Lot of hair on the bathroom floor.

It was a lovely clean , warm , quiet hotel . We booked this as our other accommodation got cancelled last minute . It was a really good surprise. We try to get closest to the city centre as one of our party is in a wheelchair. But found the location to be perfect for us. It's a nice walk into the centre and there are plenty of places around about for our needs. Blue tomato restaurant is excellent and Sherlock Holmes pub for drinks. We were there for family holiday and meal/ drinks at night so not sure about nightlife for youngsters. If I'm coming back to Budapest I would definitely stay there again.

The property at the time (April )didn't serve breakfast at the time. It would have been nice if it had. The owner phoned the day before arrival to inform us. We had our breakfasts near the Basilica which had great places to eat . About 15 mins walk or so. Also the front desk wasn't manned 24/7 . Someone on reception 8-4 and you had to phone or email out with. But this didn't bother us .

Very good location, a few steps from Nyugati Railway and Metro Station, easy access, late check in after 16:00 was easy, they keys were left on the reception desk. The room was small but very comfortable, clean, everything working, nothing was missing. Very good price for the location and the overall quality and service.

The windows are not transparent, there are semi-transparent pictures on them. However, it is good for privacy (the house on the opposite side of the street is quite close) and they are easily openable if you want more light or air.

The location is perfect! Although it is in a small, calm and silent street, it is just 5 minutes walk from the Budapest West Railway station (Nyugati Palyaudvar), metro, tram and buses plus the Westend Plaza with loads of shops and street food options. It is easy to start from here to discover Budapest by public transport. The no breakfast option at the hotel was not a problem, 5-6 minutes walk in a supermarket we could buy a nice breakfast. The room is very spacious, the beds are quite wide, and we had a small fridge which was very useful to have cold drinks there in the summer heat. The aircon is a separate bit room by room, you can set it for yourself which was comfy. The free wifi was fast enough for using Youtube or streaming.

Just small things. The TV was quite small and one of the 3 beds was squeaking. Plus the reception is only from 8-17h, so if you want to check in after 17h, you need to call the number and they can arrange it for you.

I have already stayed in this hotel once on Easter 2023. I liked the location near Budapest Nyugati Pályaudvar station. It was 4-5 minutes to the station. which suited me very well. the hotel was in a side street where there was great peace and quiet. The room was adequate, had a nice bathroom with a shower and a strong stream of water in the shower. There were enough electrical outlets in the room. The bed had a comfortable mattress. The location of the hotel suited me because it was near the Nyugati station, which is also a stop for the backbone tram lines 4/6 and there is also a metro station. it is a free 8-10 minute walk to the Hungarian Parliament building.

Property has a perfect location with supermarkets and restaurants around in vicinity. We did not even need to use the public transport during our stay most of the time. For example, Parliament building is 15min away, as well as Margit-Sziget island, and Heroes’ square 30min away from the hotel on foot. Staff were very polite and always helpful! They even fulfilled the additional request for the double bed room, which we were very grateful for. Room and bathroom were spacious and clean, AC was working properly and mini fridge as well. There is self check-in in case you arrive when the reception is closed and all information will be sent to you in advance by the helpful hotel staff. Last but not least, it has excellent value for the money.

Extremly nice place, near to everything you want to see in Budapest. Next to the train station, metro, buses, trams and taxi. Jop on hop off the bus - 3 min walk from hotel. The room was clean and tidy, all personel was kind and helpful at all time. Havebern travelling with autistic son - the place was quiet and my boy feels safe in it. Great and budget place to stay in Budapest! We definetely come back - only one suggestion - more coffee in the room please!

The location was great, a couple of minutes walking distance from the nyugati railway station and metro, tram stop and the Westend shopping mall. Also walking distance from the parliament, Margaret Island and other places to visit. The hotel staff is friendly and welcoming, very helpful and kind. The reception was open until 5 pm so they gave us clear instructions of how to enter and what to do when we arrived late and they were not around. There was no breakfast room in the hotel, but there was a recommendation placed at the reception for a nearby café which was very nice and just round the corner from the hotel. And there were many other cafés and restaurants in the vicinity, so plenty to choose from. The room was spacious and clean, it had a hot water kettle and complimentary coffee and also a small refrigerator. The bathroom was also very clean and spacious. Overall it was a very pleasant hotel for a short weekend getaway.

It was a bit noisy at night, especially with the open windows we could hear the cars and people talking. The wifi signal was very weak and it kept disconnecting.

Very convenient location - near to tube stations and within easy walking distance to centre of Pest but in a much quieter area. Facilities a bit basic - but clean and good value for money. Able to leave luggage after checking out and easy access to this later. Good wifi.

Shower is rather small. Service is mainly remote so we hardly saw any staff even for a 5 night stay.

The hotel is located next to the train station so very convenient for travel. I found the staff friendly and helpful. The rooms are large and quite simply furnished but importantly they are clean and comfortable. The bathroom was basic but again it was clean and tidy. All in all the Hotel Metro offers exceptional value for money and will gladly return again.

The beds aren't the most comfortable but adequate. The hotel feels a bit dated and old.
