It has an excellent location, we did everything walking and it worked perfectly. The room is a good size as well.

We couldn’t connect the TV to the internet and there was no other option, so we couldn’t watch the TV. The most frustrating thing was that 30min after our arrival, we informed reception that the ventilation in our bathroom wasn’t working. We were informed that it would be fixed on the next day. On the next day we informed that we were leaving so maintenance could work in our room. We came back and it was still the same, we informed reception once again and nothing was done. It was disrespectful that no one followed up with our issue or offered a room change or anything since we spoke with reception 3 times about it. We checked out and the issue was not even looked at it. Extremely frustrating situation.

Perfect location, so close to everything and walking distance to opera house and St. Stephen's basilica, Budapest wheel, ruin bars etc. Lovely rooms nice and clean and friendly staff Break was really lovely

We only had breakfast one day as thought it was quite pricey (£26.50) for two. There is great selection and was lovely but felt our money could be better spent elsewhere at bistros etc. A weird sewage / eggy smell in the bar area which put us off going in there for any drinks. Hits you as soon as you walk in, not a nice smell at all. Doesn’t effect the rooms but you have to walk though to get to some.

Overall, I enjoyed the stay. The location is perfect, and it’s very quiet at night (at least in February), which made for a peaceful rest. The breakfast was average but acceptable, and the place offers decent value for money.

However, there were a couple of issues. The double bed was actually two single beds pushed together, and the mattresses would slip apart in the middle, creating a dip that wasn’t very comfortable. Also, the bathroom door, when opened, blocks the entrance to the bedroom, which was a bit inconvenient. If these small issues were addressed, it would be an even better experience!

Fantastic location, close to everything: the metro, the attractions, the supermarket and some terrific restaurants. The staff were so welcoming and attentive, gave us advice on currency exchange places, even called in dinner reservations for us. The airport transfer service was excellent and very professional. The breakfast at the hotel is awesome. Great selection of foods for just about every type of diet and taste. The breakfast room staff are very attentive. Great customer service!

The hotel was nice and clean. Great breakfast! I actually looked forward to their breakfast everyday. The location was awesome. It was a short walk to the Christmas market and the Basilica.

I would like to see the breakfast staff monitor the guest s little better. I watched a woman grab cheese with her hands, stand over the food, eat the cheese and then grabbed more cheese with her hands to put in her plate. I don’t like seeing guest do those things. The food is great but maybe have a setup where staff is getting the food. People wiping their faces, hair, rubbing their nose and then using the utensils to get food and leaving the utensils in the food is nasty. That’s why my husband and I made sure we were the first ones downstairs because it was sick to see the amount of people doing these types of things getting their food.

The location was good, the breakfast was ok, the room was not noisy and the bed was quite comfortable. Overall was quite ok.

On our last day the cleaning lady entered the room at 8:30 in the morning, my husband was in the bathroom and I was sleeping, so I woke up scared not knowing what is happening. She did not even knock at the door or say anything.. when she heard the noise from the bathroom she close the door. Why would you come at 8:30 in our last day ??? Also when we wanted to check in there was a looong queue, we waited more than 1h to do the check in. They should have brought an extra person when they saw what was the situation, for a 4* hotel this is not acceptable, from my point of view.

The breakfast was wonderful - and I have been at this hotel quite often over the past decade. It is quiet and good location, and feels homely for me. We asked to have our room changed because the bathtub was not suitable to us (elderly ladies). This request was taken care of and we came for another night, and received a room, with a shower.

The carpet on the first and second floor with all kinds of blobs and shapes looks bad. As if part of a renovation which was incomplete. Also, The sink in the first room (230) had a crack in it. There was a problem also with the sink's drain (which was immediately taken care of) , and no soap in the bath.

I liked the hotel's location and the staff's willingness to help. I recommend that you book including breakfast, since the hotel offers a great variety and tasty foods. Further, since eating in Budapest is considered quite expensive, it is good to pay for the breakfast and eat well, so that you won't need to eat out 2 times a day. Further, the staff and the hotel is willing to assist you in order to book tickets for events.

I didn't like that I asked for a room for 2 persons with 1 bed and I got 2 beds instead... Further, I got a room with a bath tub and not a shower. Furthermore, there was a problem with the water's absorption system when having a bath, since water was not absorbed efficiently from the bath.

Great location very close to main streets and next to the Opera House. And despite the location, it is very quiet in rooms. Very friendly staff, open to help whenever needed and with great attitude towards guests. Tasty breakfast. Good size of the room. For sure that is a place where I could stay when next time in Budapest.

The breakfast area is to small for the amount of guests that Hotel can host. There is only one big table with food selection and only two slow working coffee machines. Thus the area get very crouded. As of the room: it was very spacious but bit off and it looks like the rooms were not refreshed for a long while.

The location is perfect!!! Behind the Opera House and in 2 minutes St Stefan Basilica!!! Walking distance!! The staff was friendly and supportive! Victoria was very kind to help us to give us the map of the city. I came to Budapest for my bday and the staff if rhe hotel sent me a small bottle of wine with glasses to celebrate with a card)) it was so nice 😊

The breakfast was good. Actually it is from 6:30 till 10:30. And the staff removed almost everything before the 10:30.. there was no variety to eat smth. It could be better the rest was amasing!!!
