Lovely views over the valley, room spacious, clean and comfortable and the heater worked well, nice hot shower too. Only negative was the restaurant on site, which was pretty pricey (some of the mains were 300k, I’ve had perfectly tasty meals for 50k at popular restaurants in Vietnam!), perhaps relying on being more than walking distance from town? Breakfast also wasn’t the most inspiring - it would be nice to include some fruit and toast as well as boiled vegetables and sugary bread, but maybe it is catered more to non-western tastes, which is fair enough if there aren’t as many westerners staying!

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful homestay - very peaceful and quiet location on the edge of Sapa Town. The lady at reception was fantastic - very friendly, always available via Whatsapp to answer our questions about things to visit, places to eat, etc. She also helped us checking in at 5 am as our night bus arrived very early in Sapa (we had booked an extra night to be able to check this early) so she got up just to check us in and show us our room. They also offer a scooter rental service which was reasonably priced and very convenient. The city centre is a 5mns drive from the hotel so very easy to quickly pop out of your room and buy some groceries. The room was very nice and had a unique charm to it. It can get a bit cold in the evening as we visited in March but the AC was working really well and got us warm very fast. We did not try the restaurant but they offer similar dishes to some of the restaurants in the centre so if you don't want to be driving at night it's a decent option.

Breakfast options were a bit limited - but that's understandable as it's not a big hotel but a smaller homestay. There is A LOT of stairs, depending on which bungalow you end up being put into (we were literally on the last one down). This means that you have to get up and down quite a few flights of stairs, which was fine in the evening but a bit more challenging in the morning when you just got up. That being said it's part of the charm of this place as you are on the side of a hill and facing the wilderness so it's not a negative point just something to be mindful of for people that have reduced mobility.

We loved our stay here! It was so nice to have a private bungalow in the view was stunning. The bungalows are really cosy have a really nice bathroom shower set up. The bed was also one of the comfy beds. We slept on during our travels in Vietnam. The staff was very kind and provided one free ride into downtown Sapa each day! While you are a little far from town, it’s easy to get into town. The serenity at Sinai is very much worth the drive! Understandably there are lots of stairs if you are in a lower bungalow (11 is the furthest bungalow down, we stayed in 8). This wasn’t a problem for us as we only had backpacks, but if you have lots of luggage, I think you can just ask the staff to help you. The breakfast included was not the best we’ve had in Vietnam as they do it buffet style, so sometimes the food was cold… but other than that, our stay here was amazing!

The location is about 2km from town, I purposely chose this as I wanted to be away from the noise of beeping horns. As they are separate bungalows you get no noise other than birds, a beautiful view from the room of greenery and mountain. I rented a motorbike from them as well which was ideal as I didn't want to leave my passport with an outside shop. The owner was very nice but a special mention for Paula the receptionist who was fantastic, she speaks perfect English. Breakfast was basic, a small buffet style, not a huge choice but it's only a small home stay so it's not really practical for them to put on a huge buffet, the quality was fine so no complaints.

My experience at Sinai Homestay was fantastic. The bungalow was comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, offering a cozy and peaceful atmosphere. The location was ideal, with stunning views and easy access to nearby attractions. Although some reviews mentioned the breakfast being small, I found it to be quite generous and satisfying ,definitely more than enough to start the day and really exceeded my expectations based on what I had read beforehand. The hosts were welcoming and attentive, making sure everything was perfect during my stay. Overall, I had a wonderful time and would highly recommend Sinai Homestay for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

This is a really nice hotel! It’s beautiful as well as luxurious! We really enjoyed our stay! We were celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday and Paula was absolutely amazing! She helped me plan a sweet surprise and set up a birthday cake in our room while we were out and about! He loved the surprise! Paula also booked us a massage in our room which was really nice! She was incredible and helped me with absolutely any question I had about hikes and activities! So not only is this a really lovely stay, but the staff are also incredible! I highly recommend!!

The property is very beautiful, such beautiful cozy rooms with stunning views all around. The family runs the homestay is very warm and helpful and will make sure that you have the comfortable stay. Also you can rent a bike from the same place which was very convenient

There are lot of stairs to go to till rooms. If you are carrying suitcases then it will be less convenient. It's more suitable for the backpackers and young travellers. Also it's little far from the main city centre, if you are not renting a bike then it will be far to reach this place from the main Sa pa town

The staff was great, very accomodating and attentive. We arrived early and they let us stay in another room while waiting for our check in time. They served us an amazing breakfast. And upon going to our bungalow, it was beautiful and spacious. You have your own home overlooking the nature. As you are far away from the main road, it was quiet and peaceful. We rented a motorcycle and the staff assisted us. Upon check out, they also booked our ride to the bus station. I'm definitely coming back again.

Our family stayed for three nights. The rooms were lovely, with stunning mountain views and the sound of birdsong. The hotel staff were very helpful and assisted with our luggage to and from the rooms. Breakfast was reasonably fine, especially considering the price. The hotel provided complimentary daily one-way taxi to Sapa town center, which is really nice.

The breathtaking mountain views are well worth the climb down/up the stairs to/from the bungalow.
