Everything was fantastic, including our welcome Prosecco from Timo, the Floor Manager, staff efficiency and friendliness, breakfasts and dinners. My request for a flat pillow was prompt and made my sleep more comfortable. The view from our balcony was always interesting with all the movement on the canal.

There was nothing we didn’t like, as we always received considered answers to our many questions. My husband had a massage at the spa which he considered to be extremely good. The Nasi Goring was fabulous - I ordered that 3 times, washed down with a lovely Sauvignon Blanc!

Hotel was beautiful. We loved the green spaces and the style of the accomadation. Restaurant was lovely and we spent a delightful couple of hours having late lunch in the sunshine on the day of arrival outside on the terrace. Loved the pool Room was very comfortable the mini fridge great addition to the room . Could maybe benefit from a brighter light on the dimmable switches. Fab shower . My daughter was looking forward to a bath when she saw it but didn't enjoy it when she had one . Too deep ,uses too much water and the position of the plug in the middle of the bath wasn't comfortable. Staff were all very professional , helpful and friendly. Providing a very welcoming environment . Food was great ,very tasty . Cocktail bar was cool good views and cocktails. The reusable bottle, in the room was a brilliant idea . Used mine everyday and brought it home with me . Location was fantastic a 6 minute bus ride on the 43 to Central Staion . Both bus stops a short distance from entrance . When tapping on and off the busses its the top pad , the bus drivers can get a little aggravated if passengers don't know this .

Rooms were a little bit dark

We had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the warm and welcoming staff made us feel right at home. The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable, and we especially enjoyed the stunning views that added to the charm of our experience. The bed was incredibly soft and provided one of the best night’s sleep we’ve had in a while. What stood out even more was the convenience of having so many amenities right within the hotel itself from a delightful bakery to a fantastic restaurant that served delicious dishes and a fantastic bar called "Malabar", everything was just perfect. This place truly exceeded our expectations, and we can't wait to visit again!

Lovely well appointed room with view of IJ river. Quiet (ask for high floor). All staff very good. Breakfast buffet can be a little chaotic as hotel is full with guests coming and going around river cruises. 43 bus runs 3 times an hour to and from Centraal Station (2 times an hour during evenings) and stops right outside the hotel - can pay with contactless on the bus.

Some gluten free options available at breakfast but I had my concerns about their understanding of cross-contact risks so stuck to sealed items only. Given 3 lovely gifts during our week’s stay but 2 contained gluten even though this was clearly marked on my guest record. Alternative was provided when asked but would have been nice not to have had to do the asking (or the checking of ingredients when gift was left in our room).

Modern facilities, well styled and functional. Comfortable room. Rich variety of options for breakfast. Convenient parking in house. Location within easily manageable distance from main Amsterdam attractions. Professional and kindly helpful staff.

Two elevators with no up/down call button distinguishing function were a real bottleneck at busy times for that hotel size. Hanging possibilities for towels when in shower a real mystery. Also, a single bottle of body wash, to be used for both hand washing and showering by two people (nothing else available) during 5 days with no replacement was … rather insufficient.

All the plants

I really like everything, the rooms are big enough, with a balcony, and the huge plants in the hall that make you feel like you are in the forest. The multiple facilities really help to treat and pamper yourself, from the spa, the swimming pool and the gym. I enjoyed it so much that I wanted to extend my stay for an extra night, but unfortunately, I didn’t; being during the weekend, they didn’t have my room available for the extra night; therefore, I had to relocate to a different room and was slightly pricier than I expected.

Because of my late arrival, I struggled to get something to eat or even a bite after 10.30 pm.

My wife and I want to express our sincerest and heartfelt thank you to all of the hotel staff that we came in contact with including but not limited to Tess, Lima, Chantal’s, Sinl, Ayla and Noha and the young lady that checked us in Sunday. I trust the spelling is correct. I wish I had everyone’s name to give them a shout out. Don’t forget the bartender and Polish lad at 8th floor bar. We checked out this morning. Your staff should be commended for their professional customer service attitudes. No one ever says no we can’t to it. They will say I don’t know but I will check with my colleagues and return with an answer. Someone worked with my wife on our first full day morning Monday I think for a long time to educate her on site seeing activities, public transportation access, and a general overview of the Amsterdam area. We observed how everyone pitches in, multitasking to do whatever is necessary to enhance and maximize the guest experience. When I asked for directions to the nearest post office to mail a package home, Tess told us about the package mailing service offered by the hotel that saved us a trip to the post office and added the charges to our bill. It’s extremely refreshing to receive this level of service today. So, we stand up and cheer, clap our hands and holler thank you for making our stay wonderful and memorable. Please share with the entire staff. It’s clear as day you select highly motivated professionals and train them well as I said before to maximize the guest experience.

Room was very nice, although it was really pricey. Parking was free on sunday, so that was a nice bonus! Room was really spacious, bed was very good and we had a perfect night! Hotel itself is really beautiful and tranquil. Enough places to sit in peace and work or chill. Will definitely visit again, but I hope something can be done about the price, because almost €300,- for a room is quite expensive in my book!

The Nasi Goreng in the restaurant was truly awful. As people with an Indonesian background we know what it should be/taste like and it really wasn't a proper Nasi Goreng! For a hotel with Indonesian managers and a name that places you in the "heart" of Indonesia you should do better than this! The room missed some amenities in showergel/soap etc. Besides that no problems!

The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are spacious, well lit and airy. I also liked the separate vanity for doing my makeup and such, and the digital «Don’t disturb» signs were a cool touch!

If you’re a light sleeper like me, avoid getting a room on the 8th floor because that’s where the hotel bar is located and you might hear the bass through the walls, especially if the room is at the far end of the corridor. We also didn’t get any hand soap, which is the first time for me in a hotel, due to «sustainability reasons». Also I found the breakfast to be a little limited for the price range of the hotel.
