The room was clean and modern, the bed was comfortable and we had a great time. Drinks and food were of a good standard for an all-inclusive and buffet. There was always plenty of choice and the local ingredients were fresh and so very tasty. They have a Cretean table at the main restaurant that had something different every night too. We spent all the time on the beach and the drinks were easy to get and again, of a good standard. We enjoyed a game of shuffleboard one of the afternoons, but not so much the rest of the entertainment, as not really our thing. Don't forget to visit the local taverna (dinner or lunch included in all-inclusive).

There could be more outdoor toilets near the beach, as these were shared with the restaurant and often resulted in wet seats.

I loved everything. The ambience, the cleanliness of rooms and facilities, the friendliness of staff. I would highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at Agapi Beach Resort. Our room had recently been renovated and offered a lovely view over the sea and the hotel’s outdoor lobby area — it was clean, comfortable, and felt very welcoming. The food was excellent throughout our stay. The main restaurant impressed us with its variety and themed evenings, and the à la carte options provided a great alternative in more intimate settings. We’re also very grateful for the opportunity the hotel gave us to experience a traditional Greek taverna — Petousis — as part of the all-inclusive package. It was a thoughtful touch that allowed us to enjoy a more local atmosphere just a few steps outside the hotel. What truly made the experience special was the kindness and attention of the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, and we particularly appreciated a hotel manager, who was always present and greeted guests warmly with a sincere kalimera or kalispera. The young animation team also deserves a special mention for their energy and positivity. We also really enjoyed the beach right in front of the hotel. While sunbeds and umbrellas are quite common in Crete, what makes a difference here is the space — everything is well distributed, without the usual overcrowding, making it much more pleasant to relax. - The room was spacious and impeccably clean. - Stunning sea view from the balcony — perfect for relaxing and enjoying the scenery. - The beach was well maintained. While there was some litter, it was minimal (just a couple of cigarette butts near the sunbeds). - The food was delicious and varied. We especially enjoyed the local dishes. It’s a pity the Cretan breakfast is only - available on Sundays. - The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, always ready to assist with a smile. - Very comfortable beds. - The hotel grounds were large, beautifully landscaped, and pleasant to explore.

The hotel is not particularly child-friendly: inside the room there were tiled steps and a glass divider, toilets and sinks around the property were quite high for kids, and there were no child steps available. The kids' menu mainly consisted of meat or potato patties in heavy batter. The animators didn’t seem very engaged with the children. Seafood was quite limited during our one-week stay — we only had shrimp once, and most of the fish offered was just 2-3 kinds of white fish. The rest was mostly meat dishes. In our room, we could hear the music from the bar until 11 PM.

A truly all inclusive experience right on the beach. All food options on site were phenomenal and we could leave my dad by the pool while my mom and I enjoyed a massage. The entertainments and included cocktails made it the ultimate island get away

The steps and walkways had some hidden steps and unevenness which turned out to be treacherous with mobility challenged parents. Most of the staff were friendly and obliging but not all. Don’t book taxis through the front desk as twice they didn’t show and we had to go across the street to the taxi rank. Booked the rest online.

What stands out at this location is the mindset and intention of the staff at the resort. Every single interaction, request met with the attitude that our experience and our comfort was their top priority. There no single situation that we felt they have other priorities but making our experience exceptional. I was a little worried initially because we book mostly locations/hotels we know that they meet 5 start standard. The hotel has a vibe of modern mixed with traditional greek feel which was pretty nice.

Absolutely brilliant place to spend your time off! The whole place has been newly renovated and everything feels fresh and modern. The beach and the sea are clean, and it’s just perfect for a swim or lounging around. The food is delicious, with a few different restaurants to choose from, so you never get bored. Plus, the staff are all incredibly friendly and make you feel on holidays. There’s also loads of space to relax, whether you want to chill by the water or find a quiet corner to unwind. Highly recommend it if you’re looking for a great getaway!

My wife and I recently spent a week at this great all-inclusive hotel in Crete, and it was a delightful experience. The private beachfront was pristine, with plenty of available beach beds, allowing us to relax by the sea without any hassle. The hotel grounds were impressive, featuring well-maintained gardens filled with a diverse array of plants that created picturesque settings. The main pool was spacious enough to never feel overcrowded, and the additional smaller pools offered more secluded spots for a quieter relaxation. We appreciated the convenience of having sparkling water, beer, and sodas readily available throughout the day, along with a generous selection of cocktails and spirits included in the all-inclusive package. Throughout our stay, the staff were consistently polite, warm, and eager to assist, which made us feel truly welcomed. The entertainment provided by the animators was engaging and enjoyable, without ever feeling too pushy. The food at the hotel was exceptional, and it was a highlight of our stay. Breakfast offered an extensive variety of options to suit every palate. For lunch, we had the choice of three different venues, each with its own theme, and one of which had extended hours for added convenience, all included in the all-inclusive package. Dinner was an absolute treat every night, with a vast selection of dishes and a different theme each evening. We were particularly impressed by the fact that traditional Cretan options were always available, and these also varied daily, allowing us to explore the local cuisine. The food quality was consistently high, and we never had the same meal twice during our seven-night stay. Additionally, the snack bar by the pool ensured that we always had something to nibble on throughout the day.

While our overall experience was fantastic, I would recommend considering an upgrade when booking your room. We stayed in middle-range room, which was comfortablec but didn’t quite meet all of our expectations, particularly in terms of the decor and amenities. I suspect that the lower-priced rooms might have similar shortcomings. Opting for a refurbished room would likely enhance the overall experience and make for an even more enjoyable stay.

Great food. I had to start this that as it was so delicious and the variety of it was outstanding. There has been always a table with special Cretan food. Very helpful , nice and amazing staff . It’s very clean . Location is perfect, just by the bus and taxi station . It’s 15 min to the city centre of Heraklion by taxi ( 15 Euro flat fee) . There are buses as well ( 1.60 euro) to the city and to Knossos. This hotel has a nice clean beach , can spend there whole day . It’s a great place to stay as a solo travel, with family and with friends .

Staff is very kind , and the resort organise nice activities and show for the nights , it is very family friendly . The night with the singer and the saxophone was absolutely amazing it was like a star show ! The singer was professional level !

We didn’t like the fact the rooms start to be a bit old and the quality is not really there , same for the bed and pillow quality was quite low.
