The staff was excellent, they were all extremely kind and helpful. The rooms were the cleanest hotel rooms I have ever stayed at, even the bathrooms. Brew City Coffee in the lobby was delicious and the girl working was extremely kind. And then you have the location.... absolutely amazing! Lake Wawasee is absolutely gorgeous, I would encourage anyone to wake up early just to watch the sunrise above the lake, it was gorgeous! The people who lived around the hotel were always walking or riding bikes and also seemed kind. I had an event at the Event Center and was able to walk from the hotel there, the event center was also amazing, and the staff were fantastic.

I wish I would've stayed in a lake view room, which is my fault not theirs. The room I was in you could see the lake very well, but the lake view rooms were right on the lake.

We grew up on Lake Wawasee but no longer have a home there. Staying at Oakwood allows us to stay on the lake and enjoy all the perks of being there. We still have friends who live on the lake and a lot of people who enjoy the Porch so we like the convenience of being there. Our friends could easily pick us up at the dock for boat rides.

I wish the rooms had balconies.

I rented a room for myself and my granddaughter. I also rented a conference room for the whole day. When I arrived at 8:10 in the morning, my set-up for the day was in the wrong conference room. The staff on duty that morning (which was different from the staff who originally set-up the room), went to great lengths to have the set-up moved to the correct conference room. The bumble did cause me to be late with my pre-event preparedness, but the room was exceptional and my guests were comfortable and happy all day. Thank you. My granddaughter and I ate lunch and breakfast Sunday morning at the Resort. Fantastic !

The only thing I didn't like was that my set-up was in the wrong conference room when I arrived. But the mistake was taken care of.

Breakfast was good and centrally located. The Keurig coffee maker was good.

A microwave in the room would be helpful. Also, our location near the lobby was noisy due to a party that was pretty boisterous. In addition, we were in a room that connected to another and the people in the other room were very loud. Would have preferred a non-connecting room and a little further down the hall.

Very quiet getaway with my wife and thankful for excellent staff that took care of us as we were celebrating us getting me through cancer the next part of my cancer treatment. Also thankful for Paula and Taylor for making this a special stay

clean, cheery colors, decor, lighting; helpful, friendly staff; reasonably priced tasty dinners in restaurant. Enjoyed Saturday night live music in restaurant.

No regular replacement of coffee, Kleenex, TP or removal of trash (it seemed like I was expected to pick up these items & drop off my trash ☹️) (Items were delivered to my room upon request)

The location was near our friend’s home on the lake. We enjoyed going back and forth. The accommodations are comfortable and pleasing.

We are seniors and parking and walking to the hotel-from the hotel parking lot-was dark and could have easily fallen. We used our cell phones as flashlights which wasn’t the best. We will plan to come again, perhaps an annual get-away.

It's a beautiful hotel. Nice decor and atmosphere.

The pillows weren't very comfortable. Like most hotels, they have fluffy LOOKING pillows, but your head sinks right thru all that fluff. Breakfast wasn't very appealing. We ended up eating elsewhere all four days. Parking is a little far away... Especially when it's very cold. All of that green space could've been used for parking closer to the building.

Location was beautiful. Food was excellent! Staff was beyond amazing!

The only complaint I had was that the room temperature was too warm for us. It’s unable to be adjusted. For the cost, we should be able to have our room at a temperature that works for us. We were literally sweating while trying to sleep. 😩

The room - house keeping - breakfast dining area food and staff - private beach - the relaxing view- philharmonic entertainment - access by boat - just beautiful!
