I recently stayed at the Novotel Leuven Centrum, and my experience was quite positive overall. The hotel is located about 1 km from the city center, which meant a bit of a walk to reach the main shops and attractions. However, I didn’t mind the walk as it allowed me to explore more of the area. The hotel itself was clean and modern, with comfortable rooms that had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. I particularly appreciated the quiet environment of the hotel, which provided a nice escape from the busier parts of the city. The breakfast was good, though I felt it could have offered a bit more variety. Still, it was a nice way to start the day before heading out to explore Leuven. Overall, Novotel Leuven Centrum is a great choice if you don't mind a short walk to the city center. The comfortable accommodations and excellent service made my stay enjoyable, and I would definitely consider returning in the future.

1. The staff was not as welcoming as I had hoped. The check-in experience felt a bit impersonal, and I didn’t receive the warm greeting or helpful attitude that I’ve come to expect from similar hotels. It would have been nice to feel more valued as a guest. 2. The parking situation was also a bit of a challenge. There seemed to be a deficit in available parking spaces, which made it inconvenient, especially after a long day of travel. I had to spend extra time finding a spot, which added unnecessary stress to my stay.

The staff were very friendly and helpful from the moment we walked into the lobby. The rooms were lovely, clean, neat and a good size. They gave us two family rooms next to each other (as we requested) but with connecting doors allowing us all to move between the rooms as though in an apartment! Everything about our stay was great!!

Only slight negative was that the built in USB charger on wall in one of rooms not working, but that was minor.

The hotel is overall very nice. It is clean and well-kept. It is modern and everything works well. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and nicely kept. The bar and restaurant area are really nice (didn't get the chance to try them). Overall, I recommend it for people traveling for business, singles, or couples. The breakfast was good with a lot of variety. The room had a small refrigerator and a water boiler for coffee and tea. I would go back.

It is not ideal for traveling with small children (but that is not the fault of the hotel). The breakfast is good, but too expensive for what it is. Be advised: housekeeping can come early (around 9:30)! It is far from the city-center and the entrance is not immediately easy to find if you do not know where it is. The distance from most of the university buildings makes it a bit inconvenient, especially in bad weather.

The A/C worked pretty well, weather was wonderful, many restaurant choices nearby. The restaurant on site had great food with vegetarian choices too.

Pathway to the train station was closed due to construction. Room service didn't answer the phone but going down to the restaurant could bring the tray of food to my room.

Nice corporate hotel which suited our needs for location and comfort. Hotel was quiet at night, clean spacious room/bathroom and beds are comfortable. The breakfast was so good and the breakfast staff friendly and pleasant. The bar area looked good, however due to our timetable we did not have time to visit.

Not sure about the separate toilet to shower room, but can see how this may help in a busy family room.

Room was very clean and had everything needed, including complimentary water. Receptionists are extremely welcoming

I would appreciate if the bar downstairs was serving esspresso and having a wider selection of milks, including plant-based. Unfortunately only basic coffee was possible to have during breakfast hours only

The staff was super to work with. We had difficulties as we were overseas and the staff helped contact and communicate when we were unable to do so. They went out of their way to help. The room was comfy for us. The beds were comfortable and the room and bathroom were clean. I will stay here again when I return to Leuven. Thank You for all that you did to assist us and make our stay exceptional.

The room was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was good and there was a variety of food available. There is free parking outside the hotel or there is an adjoining pay and display car park. Not too far to walk into town

The air conditioning didn't work very well. The decor is a bit tired.

It was a nice large room, had everything you need (bathroom, shower, fridge, TV and an opening window) and was just far enough out of Leuven Centrum that it was a nice walk into the city. Very comfy bed.

The water smelt/tasted a little funny, not the cleanest hotel room I've been in but nothing crazy at all. The Wifi kept needing to be reconnected to but small things, overall it was good!

Short walk from the train station and a nice room. Friendly staff at check in and check out.

Not the prettiest area of town, but also just a 5-minute walk from nicer parts and 15-20 minute walk to the main central attractions/restaurant area.
