I liked that the description on the website matched the experience very accurately. Clean hotel, great pool and spacious pool area, friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, great location for exploring Tuscany. The bedroom with a door out to the pool area was particularly good. We enjoyed the snack lunches from the pool bar.

Wi-fi coverage could have been better in bedrooms. As expected from the online description, there was a little noise from the nearby roads.

There are working hours for the pool, it's from 7 - 19. That was a bit disappointing as - once you are back from your day trip around, you can't take a swim in the evening just look at it. First evening when we arrived - the manager allowed to take a short and silent swim. But then - those were only mornings when we could use the pool as we came after 19. And you need to have your own towel for the pool or you can rent it for 5 euros. We were 3 persons in the room and 2 times - by arrival and after cleaning, we had towels for 2 persons. Of course, they were given, but every time you need to go and ask for those which was a bit annoying. Can hear the traffic.

Perfectly located in the heart of Tuscany, ideal for visiting Florence, Siena, Chianti, and Montepulciano. Rustical climate and atmosphere, clean rooms with daily housekeeping, comfortable beds, and a nice pool with bar.

Only downside is its position next to the Florence–Siena motorway — rooms on that side can be noisy from traffic.

The rooms are clean and comfortable. The loungers round the pool are super comfortable and there are plenty of them too.

We’d previously stayed at the hotel a few years ago and back then they did great pizzas. Unfortunately they no longer offer pizzas however, the rest of the menu on offer is lovely.

The pool was fabulous. Our room opened up directly to the pool. the food was very good but the first night everything was too salty. excellent the rest of the week though. The views from around the property are lovely but the star of the stay were the staff they all made us feel very welcome and had great suggestions for seeing the sites. My wife lost a decorative button from her favorite dress. She asked the front desk to keep an eye out know it wouldn't turn up but! two days late a member of staff found it in a hallway under a table and returned it to us. My wife was delighted! We will definitely be back!!

In my opinion the bed was too hard but maybe that just me. As I mentioned the food the first day was too salty. We loved everything else!

It’s a beautiful property! Well maintained!! And very clean!!!! We loved our room, which opens up to the pool! It was spacious! And the bathroom too was very spacious! The pool feels great!!! The dining area/restaurant is also very nice, and staff are very friendly and helpful! Breakfast included was also delicious! The property is walking distance to monteriggioni, it can be a little hike, but definitely do-able!

The ac was working great, until the last night, and it didn’t seem to cool as much. Wish the pool bar was open, would have been great to have drinks by the pool during the day. There is a bar inside, but it doesn’t open until 4 or 5 pm

Beautiful and charming hotel in an even more beautiful spot - very romantic indoor area with good facilities (pool, gym, ecc). Nice breakfast with a large choice. You can have dinner on place as well but there is the castle with many amazing restaurants only a few minutes far (by car)

Gym was rather old and not all machines were working, however it was the first hotel in our vacation which even offered a gym, so cannot complain :)

The pool area was very nice. We did not use the spa, but did see it and it looked very good. I did use the fitness centre. It was properly equipped, but the only issue I had was that it was very hot and did not have any proper airflow. On the flip side, I was the only one in there!

The fact that you had to to rent the pool towels, but I guess that is understandable. Otherwise, nothing negative.

The continental breakfast was poor. In fact aside from croissants and 2 choices of what seemed to be home made cakes, the savory part was lacking of products.We found no eggs on the second morning and just some slices of packed cheese and ham. A continental breakfast in a 4 star hotel should offer a wide variety of food, unfortunately this was not the case at all
